Best VRS App Hands Down!

• Best VRS interpreters in the industry - ASL skills, personable with the caller, professional, friendly, helpful, and the list goes on.
• The GUI of P3 is very modern and appealing.
• Easy to navigate
• Block unwanted callers feature
• Voice Carry Over (VCO) feature for hard-of-hearing or oral users to take full control of voicing their conversations
• Ability to select phone number from the mobile device contact list
• Toggle between Light and Dark theme as preferred
• Ability to login two Videophone number/accounts onto one app which is great when I have both a personal VP number and work VP number. I can get calls to both numbers at the same time
• It has a Number Lookup Google Search ability straight from P3
• Missed calls are able to leave a video message for me to view when I’m available

I’ve tried out several other VRS providers on and off, but stayed loyal to Purple for many years. They never cease to disappoint me with their service, products, and quality.

Interpreter in the control

Every time I made a called. Why is the interpreter think they are in the control when I made a called ? Ie~ to stop the interpreter to clarify or mind to hold or to cut the conversation even though the opposite person on the phone keep talking so my point is, why are you allow this happen since the customer is IN THE CONTROL when make a call..... but why the interpreter keep going when I asked to stop interpreter? This is the most common in any VRS industry that I have see and heard several of their story. This is not the way to handle this. Customer is the one who in the control when make a call and I am ask simple for the interpreter to do this... handle this please. Thank you. Most respectful ......

Horizontal Option

I have been Purple user for like 6 years since I quit Sorensen and always happy with Purple till the horizontal screen option became unavailable. That made me want to write a review because the only place I can put vertical screen is inside my car. Anywhere else, I will have to find some place that would make my phone to stand vertical. Now my metal ring stand that is stick on back of my phone designed to stand horizontal is kind of waste of money. Hope they will bring the horizontal screen option back! Then I will change my review.

Didn’t receive calls and didn’t show up any missed calls

I get email that I got the calls but it doesn’t show any calls in my 3 devices. I kept misses all very important calls. They all think I ignore the calls which are appointments. All notifications are on and nothing changes. It doesn’t show any history calls too. I only knew by emails or whenever I call back to report the complaint. Unfortunately, they did called. I ending up looks bad and gotten trouble for that.

None sense

I got Z5 laptop and I pad since last years . I really love it but one problem I can’t take to my job not allow then I saw ADs on Facebook about IPhone 12 . I fill out application then next days I call live person see I can get IPhone 12 but I can’t get one , That person said only who news customer. Reallllly? I really want it so bad so that way easy for me look iPhone 12 that whoever call me instead can’t bring laptop and I pad to work that sad .

Sivo is the best thing that has happened in VRS

Love the new feature. I can see my callers now. They can see me, too! Amazing. It is more than making a call, it is making a connection with my family and friends. Awesome.

Picture in picture

I will give five stars if this app app gets a picture in picture feature. I need it. So I can view or create a note.

This is malfunctioning app

It’s not working anymore. I missed several important phone calls and I can’t return call. It can’t even functional that well as sorenson ntouch. My friends can’t even call me. I regretted that I transferred my important number from sorenson to purple VRS. Purple VRS ought to hire a new engineer to get this fixed or I’ll transfer back to sorenson ntouch ASAP.

Great app, but one obvious missing feature

The new Purple app is great. VRS work seamlessly, as do point-to-point calls. My only gripe is that the iPhone doesn't vibrate when someone calls me. All it does is bring up a notification that somebody's calling. It would be better if the phone actually vibrated. And, yes, vibration was turned on in the settings. ideally, I would like it to appear as if someone was calling me via voice, with the picture and "Accept" and "Decline" buttons on the bottom. Perhaps for the next version? :)

Freezing and slow

It don’t matter where I am, at times it will not let me go ahead and call. I have to keep trying. Like right now, I can’t login after turning my phone off, deleting and rebooting it again and I’m overall frustrated with it

Call blocking

It says you can block unwanted calls but cannot find a way to do so anywhere in P3 . Quite frustrating to deal with

Battery triggered

I called a friend on video players in approximately an hour, and the battery went down faster, 49% from 89% with high heat on iPhone 11’s temperature. Please fix the issues, improve the control of waste energy to reduce battery power.

Unable to launch

I have been unable to launch P3 for two weeks now. It begins to launch and then just quits. I suspect it’s not compatible with recent iOS updates. The developers need to be checking constantly.

The app still unexpectedly quits

Since I got it updated three or four times, P3 still unexpectedly quits when I try to open it. Hey Purple, it is time for you to hire a new experienced App developer to fix the problem!

Need some help with Blurry and slowly

Whichever, I use was iPod Touch 5 and they said,"Your Video Phone is blurry and froze like slowly" when they can't see my sign language are and didn't understand what am I sayings on VP. I did twice as times when I hang up and disconnected but however, please fixes the devices what am I using is iOS iPod Touch 5.

Needs more improvements

You need to fix on the alert notifications when someone is calling, I had missed all of calls because nothing showed up on my screen, neither it vibrates or flash. Second, I would like to be able customize my sign mail on the tablet and mobile devices. Because of that i had noticed some of people called me were able to get through and leave a message while others were not able to. Please fix them - once it's all met- you will receive 5 stars next time!!!

Awful

I suggest you don't download this application since it is useless due to a lack of auto-login issues. It will sign you out in few minutes later when you are not using it. If you want VRS application that has good auto-login to stay on all the times that you will never miss any call, then Sorenson ntouch mobile is the best and top choice for you to download it. Sorenson is smart and they create their own software so Purple VRS and Z4 Mobile don't. because they are using Miral company to create software for them. I am not trying to offend Purple VRS and ZVRS but it is their jobs to make their applications to become the best of the all to make customers more happy.

New Number required again

I already have my purple number for a few years now. Everyone including my work, doctors, and my family has my purple number. Until now, im asked by Purple 3 to register a new number again in order to use IP relay on iphone. Why again? I will not change or add a new number. It is a hassle for everyone. I prefer to use IP Relay on iphone when im in the parking lot or outside the building especially in the low dim light or dark area because VP relay operators cannot see me in the LOW DIM light or DARK while in the parking lot or my car battery dies or when trying to call the hospital for emergency or AAA. Please advice. Thanks!
