1) App lists some produce items as per each when the item is actually sold by the pound. 2) Scanners either aren't available -- for weeks now --or stop working while shopping. 3) Items on sale not available.

i am trying to get my schedule on line for a while now and i go to the website and it is no longer there it comes up at a differernt page so now every week i have to call the store and it is very aggeving to me that i cant do this it was never like this i was able to do this on line and now i have to call every week so when is it going to be fix if you can tell me that it would be great thanks

Not sure you realize, but when you use the Stop and Shop pickup you do not get an actual receipt from the register. So, you do not get a code that allows you to enter the survey sweepstakes for a Stop and Shop gift card. Yet, they attach a label with a QR code to enter on one of your grocery bags. Real oversight!

Yesterday I had groceries delivered - order #1447616987, delivered 9/28/2023. I had ordered, and was charged for, a Carousel Bakery NY blackout cake, $22.49. My receipt shows it, and money was deducted. INSTEAD I received a Boston cinnamon coffee cake - cost $10.99. Don’t ask how this happened! Who knows? I had guests and no cake, and had paid $23.49. And your website was down so no help. Please refund the cost immediately. Joan Battista

I have been looking for the cream cheese and lox spread that I had purchased one other time at your w babylon store. Do you carry it anymore? It seems some people at your customer service desk never heard of cream cheese and lox and they only look on your website for the item. As does a manager I had asked. This is why I am contacting you direct.

I had a account quite a few years ago. Came back to Massachusetts. Tried to get another account still had my card. Put the numbers in but it wouldn't wouldn't take it I am home bound, disabled. Need to shop on line. I think I need a new account. What do I have to do? Please h help thank you

I have been trying to place an order online this morning to be delivered to my home. For most of the items I selected, I did NOT want a substitute item, but the website kept reinstating the substitute item, even though I'd hit the button rejecting a substitute. This happened multiple times, so in the end I canceled the entire order. And it wasn't even clear that this action had been carried out. The website wouldn't allow me to empty my cart, so I had to delete every item separately. What is going on? I am afraid that an order will arrive on Wednesday April 5th that I no longer want. In order to get what I want, rather than substitutes chosen by Stop and Shop, I shall have to do the shopping in person.

Reported problem last week, 3/15 or 3/16. Cannot do anything with website. Defaults to "store pick up" but I only do "shop in store." Told me it would be fixed by Monday. Tuesday morning, 3/21, problem wasn't fixed. Reported problem again. Customer support called me Tuesday afternoon and told me problem was fixed. Gave me password to log back in. Tried system Tues night, but I still couldn't get past "Session Expired, Select continue to refresh your session." This continues over and over. So, I still can't use website. WHAT is wrong with S&S tech staff? Programmers can't resolve problems? I'll call Customer Support on Wed 3/22. With any luck, the problem will be one week old before they fix it.

I called your customer service a number of months ago to report a defect in your Dog Waste bags. The problem was that they had holes on both sides of the bags, making them worthless. The person I spoke with asked me how much I had paid for them and I said around $2.99. I assumed I'd get reimbursed for the package, but I haven't received anything from Stop and Shop for the useless bags. I want to get my money back because I wasn't able to use any of the 3 rolls of bags in the package.

I'm Unable to use stop & Shop self-check scanner computers. When checking out, the machines repeatedly stop scanning, & lights start flashing .... The register/scanner machine stops & requests assistance every two seconds. for unknown reasons. Can I simply ' self-check-out' & pay for my purchases without machines constant interruptions with requests for assistance? Looking for stress-free future shopping. Thank You, Leslie Elliott

I have been using my Stop@Shop APP since it has existed. During the past 12 days I clicked on my app and clicked on coupons. They were showing, however when I clicked on the coupon I wanted the system did not accept the check and the system wanted me to re-enter my E-Mail and Password. Unfortunately it didn’t work. I don’t know what to as I have points I cannot redeem. I am extremely frustrated as I shop at Stop@Shop two to three times per week and I loosing lots of money due to the App not working. Do you have a “HELP” number whereby my App can be reset please? Thankbyou

I enjoy Toufayan's Smart Pockets for sandwiches. While the are plenty of Toufayan wraps and their other products available on their display rack, Smart Pockets are normally absent. I have contacted Toufayan Bakeries directly, but they don't seem to be able to have sufficient Smart Pockets left on their display rack. I would appreciate it if you would bring this to the attention of their delivery person and ask him to leave sufficient Smart Pockets so that there will normally be some available.

absolutely the worst customer service..cannot load the digital coupons to my card. as a senior, i have tried and tried, and finally just went to BIG Y..they help check to see if your coupons are on your card, at the service desk..stop shop madison, gives ZERO HELP....they say, they dont know if its on your card..and then try calling the 800 number, its all voicemail...no wonder you lose customers..even SHOP RITE helpss people load digital coupons in the store, and theycheck your card to see if you did get it on, but not stop shop, they just want the money.....zero rating....better to drive to next town, and get exemplary customer service, then at MADISON STOP SHOP...prices are over the top anyway..disgusting that we only have this lousy store in town, and cannot use it..stop and shop does not care anyway, as they know they have no competition in town, but there are those of us who refuse to go there..

Delivery Charging System

You know how when you purchase several items online and they charge you? And then one of the items they send is the wrong item, or it arrives damaged, or it ends up being out of stock so they issue you a refund in the amount of that one item? Reasonable right? Yeah that’s not how Peapod works. So my guy was sick, and he usually takes me grocery shopping, so I decided to do peapod so we could stay home and he could rest. I made my selections, got a delivery time, and paid. Total charge $115 and change. Cool, cool, cool. Well a few items were out of stock and one arrived damaged so I reach out about a refund and check on my final bill, $77 even. Cool, cool, cool. Then I want to make a purchase, but it’s a significant amount and I think, we’ll after bills this week I have a little over $200 left, so this should be fine but let’s check in on the account to be sure. Ummmmm that doesn’t seem right, I barely have $100 in my account. I start looking at charges. Instead of keeping the original $115 and change, and issuing me a refund for $39 and change, Peapod kept the original charge and then charged me again for the new lower actual cost of my groceries. So now they have $193 and change of my money, and I have $77 worth of groceries. So I call, oh no worries the first charge will be refunded in 3-5 business days. Excuse me?!?! You just stole $115+ from me but it’s okay because I’ll get it back in 3-5 business days?!? How is that logical or legal!?!?!?

List Envy

Developers need to implement the list system the last version had, specifically the ability to add custom items to any list. It’s great that I can “browse the aisles” virtually and add a specific brand of butter. But sometimes you just want to add “butter” to a list and get on with living your life versus scrolling for 2 minutes through pages of butter product and still not find the one you’re looking for. The old feature, allowing you to tap/circle a weekly flyer item and have it automatically populate your list was fantastic. From what I’ve read in reviews, that’s missing from the new version as well? I will comment on one positive feature, being able to look at your shopping history and add previously purchased items to a list for re-purchase. But the list system is broken by contrast to the old app and competitor apps. Feels like a lazy job overall in that the app is basically the existing website ported over to mobile. It all looks new and slick, but if you can’t manage a simple list function with the new system, then I have no use for it.

Horrible, virtually unusable

You should look at you competitors apps. Have you tried looking at your flyer on a phone. There should be the option of looking at a list by departments, and not take you to the flyer page. Also the main thing you sell is groceries, so that is all just 1 category. I want to see canned goods, meat, breakfast, etc. I end up giving up and waiting to find a flyer. The only use I have for it is coupons and my card. You can't scan smoothly. I drag on the screen and get all the way to the end of my travel before it starts to move. It doesn't scan 1-1. One full swipe and you get may 1/3 scan eventually. It isn't smooth I go to my shopping list and can't see my coupons. Look at Shoprite's new and old apps. The old is great for a quick scan for sales by departments. The new is fantastic for coupons and items because you can select them and see just what the sizes and what items they apply to are.
