- Repeated series of commercials that never end

- Doesn't show the correct name/title for what is being shown on the channel

- Not consistent with episodes they upload

- Never leaves off where user was at in an episode

- Lists episodes from Finale to Premiere, ruining the anticipation of who will get sent home

App crashes when watching any show, especially jersey shore. Says storage is low, can’t delete and have to factory reset our entire tv. Commercials take forever and also crash the app. Absolutely ridiculous.

Every time I started the MTV app on my Xbox one, I get like 5 minutes into a show and then it crashes and it happens every single time, but when I go and watch it on my Roku it works perfectly fine, fucking fix that shit please thanks :-)

FUCK MTV APP IT KEEPS CRASHING EVERYTIME I TRY TO WATCH A SHOW. I HAVE TO RESET THE APP 10 TIMES TO WATCH A HOUR SHOW IN XBOX. I SPENT MORE TIME WATCHING ADS OVER AND OVER THAN I DID WATCHING THE SHOW.

MTV app keep crashing … I done updated the app … updated my Roku software … uninstall and installed … restarted the whole tv and still the app crash . Please fix this issue ASAP it’s been going on for about a month now for me

The mtv app on my TV and phone will not let me watch any season of The Challenge. It takes me to a page that shows the cast from the Jersey Shore, and says that the content is not available. I am using my Direct TV login, and it should work, but it wont.

How to fix MTV app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the MTV app on iPhone
Update MTV app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall MTV iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix MTV on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve MTV network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

MTV Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix MTV not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the MTV App
1. On android, goto Settings » MTV » click [Force Stop]

Update MTV to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear MTV App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » MTV » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart MTV.

Fix MTV unable to contact server/ MTV internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click MTV » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto MTV » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch MTV
