G7 TAXI - Book a taxi Reviews

I used this based on google search for recommended driver app in Paris. After using it a few times had to switch to a set rate ride share app. First 3 rides I noticed them taking a heavy traffic route even though google maps recommended a faster route. This allowed the to run up. The incident that made me write this review was a driver saying they were at my location to pick me up when it showed them clear 3 min away at the wrong spot. If I can see them on G7TAXI they can clearly see me and that they are not at the location. Was charged €11 euro even though the driver was not there. Research other ride share apps in Europe, this now is not recommended.

I just moved to Paris. I had to move into my place a few days ago. It was snowing and raining throughout the day so I took a few taxis. They charged $60 every time. I have the receipts for how much the actual charges are. G7 is holding $180 of mine. It’s unacceptable. Disgusting to do this to people. Whether you give it back or not it you don’t hold a high amount of money from them. My advice do not use G7TAXI. Use freenow, get a cabs phone number or catch a cab on the street. It’s not worth it.

I have been using G7TAXI for over a year with inly one or two late taxis. I ordered a taxi last night for my friends to get to the airport this morning and there is a taxi protest. NO message was sent to alert me that there would be no taxis available. I had to call at the meeting time to ask where the taxi was.

Shame on this company for leaving customers high and dry. You are selfish jerks. I don’t care if you want to protest, just give your customer the courtesy of knowing their planned reservation is useless !!!! J’en ai marre des manifs dans ce maudit pays d’imbéciles

I dropped a pin on a round-about next to my apartment. G7TAXI sent the driver to the wrong location. This resulted in the driver being 20 minutes late and adding 7 euros to my fare. Not my fault, not the driver's fault, G7's fault. But there is no way to report poor performance of G7TAXI and request a reimbursement. With Uber and Lyft it would have been easy to get money back to make up for the mistake.

I could never get Ubers consistently and missed one too many trains. I downloaded this and life has been much better. Hasn’t failed me yet. Cross my fingers.

G7 taxis are fine, G7TAXI is not. Upon ordering a taxi, impossible to contact it. Also no way to contact G7 from G7TAXI . I had to cancel twice before I could finally get a taxi. G7TAXI doesn’t tell you anything about cancellation fees and doesn’t even tell you that there will be a charge. That didn’t stop G7 from charging me 7EUR and 14EUR respectively for the cancelled trips!!! Stay away from G7 at all costs, there are too many alternatives in Paris…

I use G7 on a regular basis. Reservations are made easily and my payment details are saved so I never need to have cash on me. The cars are always impeccable and the drivers very professional. Way better than Uber.

Supposedly Flat fee between airports and downtown Paris but ...
1. Extra charge for immediate booking
2. Told to wait inside the terminal: why??
Because the meter starts running extra charges when the driver leaves the cab to come get you.
3. WORST OF ALL: G7TAXI mislocates you. The driver went to the wrong terminal and we were charged extra for all the time it took to correct G7TAXI ’s mistake.

G7TAXI doesn’t work and is VERY quick to charge outrageous fees. The taxi I ordered went to a completely different location that I couldn’t even walk to. Trying to call the driver failed, so I cancelled the ride. G7TAXI promptly attempted to charge €55! for what would have been a €15 cab ride. Luckily my credit card company had my back and declined the charge. Stay away from G7TAXI!

I registered my credit card & was charged for registration which i dont understand why.. but even though that happened i still couldnt pay via G7TAXI .. also the driver had no idea about this process.. i would take Uber next time not this

Tried to add my card to book the taxi multiple times. Multiple attempts on multiple cards did not work. Tried it on their app and website and it still did not work. Tried calling and no one picked up. Terrible experience.

G7TAXI is a textbook case of French corruption. Unable tip enter an Amex pr Visa. It gives a payment refused message and bank says no attempt was even made. G7TAXI was probably designed by an incompetent programmer under some kickback scheme. The taxis are good but G7TAXI is really bad.

Do not use this. First they will say your $1 charge is declined, when it actually was not. Thus, you can not book; then they will charge you a ton for a ride they declined.
Oh, and by so doing they will strand you.

Great app for booking a taxi in Paris. Especially if your French isn't so good, like me. G7TAXI lets you easily book a taxi and see when it is arriving on the map.

The only complaint I have (-1 star) is that it repeatedly gave me errors when trying to save my credit card info. So I had to pay the driver with a card each time. Not a big deal, but if the feature exists, it should work.

I simply changed my password and now G7TAXI no longer recognizes the email address I registered to use as the identification. I can no longer use G7TAXI . Useless.

Stay away. Rip off app. Says 6 minutes. Then you book and shows 16 minutes. Then you cancel and it charges you 20 Euros

Logging in impossible , registering impossible. Ordering from abroad impossible. Extra charges possible but not explained. Taxis ok but G7TAXI ......

Orly airport terminals not a findable destination

I just returned from a trip to Paris and had great luck using G7TAXI. It works very similar to Uber and it gives you the driver, description of car and license tag number; all necessary information to know before getting into a car. All my drivers were very good and I had zero problems on my rides. I was always able to input my destination before my taxi arrival which makes things so simple. It is Reasonably priced too.

2 times I couldn't get an Internet connection on my phone and couldn't use G7TAXI but that is not a criticism of G7TAXI , of course you need an Internet connection for it to work!

I contacted customer service one time before my trip and she was so very helpful and made me feel very welcome to contact again if I had any issues. She contacted me by phone which I was surprised at that high level of customer service. A Great experience.

Two days ahead I set up taxi to CDG for 4am. I could track drivers progress on iPhone...he arrived at 3:55 and was very pleasant and helpful. Will definitely use service again. I did call a day ahead to be sure reservation was in place. Compared to phone call, G7TAXI was much less ambiguous in selecting pick up point. For me, there were several similar addresses in Paris. Using the mapping function allowed certainty as to the correct one. The phone operater asked me my address, but seemed unsure which one to choose from her database until she checked my reservation selection from G7TAXI.

Last night, my wife and I needed to be somewhere in Paris on time. I used G7TAXI at 22:09 to request a taxi. G7TAXI said a taxi would arrive in four minutes. At 22:25, I cancelled the request when no taxi had shown up. Then my credit card was billed 7 Euros for the pickup. By that time, I had used Uber to get a ride and was on my way to my destination. Had I waited for G7, I would not have made my appointment, which would have meant I would have paid 254 Euros for an event we would have missed because no one is seated after the performance begins. This is inexcusable and I will challenge the charge through my bank.
