Not Happy with present version.

Ever cents they have updated BankofOklahoma I have not been able to use my D OK app to do anything. I can login and I can see the homepage. After that if I try to open Bill Pay or see any of my ledger or account information it automatically reverts immediately back to the homepage. I called the B OK account representative and Tulsa and they told me to uninstall and reinstall all BankofOklahoma . This did not work and I am still unable to use BankofOklahoma . I hope that they can rectify this soon because I have bills to pay and I have been using BankofOklahoma for the last 6-7 years successfully. Not sure what the problem is but it needs fixed fast.

Terrible

I’ve been with bok for a few years now and they still haven’t fixed the problem with the site and BankofOklahoma I have a external bank account added to my bok to transfer money to and all I get every time I tried to transfer is a internal application error on both site and BankofOklahoma this bank either needs to fix this problem or something. I’m honestly thinking of just closing my account due to this problem I also tried to get ahold of customer service they asked me the problem I told them and never did I hear anything back since then so Im basically at a lose here for this bank. Using iPhone XS

Horrible

Bank doesn’t look out for people at all closes at 5pm even the drive through I think they are the only bank in the state that does that if there’s a Holliday they just leave you screwed 15 of my coworkers we’re able to cash their checks on Christmas Eve even though check was dated for 25th but not me bank of Oklahoma will not do that at all then when I did deposit on the 26th they left me screwed until the 27th even though they were open their system does not I just opened an account a week and a half ago and I am already ready to leave this worthless bank

The updated design has caused my app to crash.

I’ve been using the Bank of Oklahoma app for around 7 months since I first opened my checking account for direct deposit at my job. I’ve never had a problem with BankofOklahoma, including the reports of Touch ID not working. Everything worked just fine for me. Until this last update was installed. As soon as the update finished I went to check my balance, and BankofOklahoma brought me back to the home screen. This repeated until I deleted BankofOklahoma and reinstalled it. I then opened BankofOklahoma to see that everything appeared to be working correctly. I thought maybe it was a bug with the installation on the update on top of the older software. I logged in, and sure enough my account was fine and everything was great. That was until I tried to reopen BankofOklahoma , and it crashed again and again like before. I thought maybe it was the new phone, and I had Touch ID set up with my account. But then I tried it with my iPhone 6S+ and got the same exact results. Both my iPhone 6S+ and my iPhone XS will not open BankofOklahoma without crashing until BankofOklahoma is reinstalled. Please fix this, it is very inconvenient to have to reinstall and log back into my account just to see what my remaining checking balance is. Thank you.

Recent Changes from Update

After I recently updated my app, I’m extremely displeased to see that you cannot view the pending tractions. It does provide a total of what is pending however there isn’t a complete breakdown of each pending charge which I completely dislike. I routinely check my accounts to ensure the payments that I have made have processed through. However now, I am unable to do so without the breakdown. I also do not care for the fact that you cannot see pending and posted all on the same screen. It took away a major convenience factor. Hopefully this can be modified in the future.

Changes changes changes

I go to get a heloc: just do it online, I have to update my home owners insurance: talk to a Machine and then go to a website. Why is this not accessible through BankofOklahoma ? I used to use the secure message center and now that’s gone. The secure message center has helped me do numerous things and was a great benefit, now it’s gone?? Talking to the machine is faster, but wow it’s infinitely more annoying to talk to a machine for 8 minutes to just be redirected to a website, thankfully the website was easy to use. That’s why I am giving 3 stars. Yeah the changes are annoying but thankfully not much more cumbersome. But clearly things are not streamlined, they still don’t make sense holistically. Slowly the bank is losing any personal feel at all.

Good app

BankofOklahoma itself is good and easy to use. Honestly I’m not sure if BankofOklahoma has anything to do with Plaid connectivity issues, but just in case it does I’ll comment on it. I’d really like to utilize other apps that use Plaid to connect to my bank account to help manage a budget, but BOK can’t maintain a stable connection with Plaid. If it does establish a connection, the connection is lost within 24 hours. I’ve used other banks in the past that don’t have this issue, so I’m not certain if this is a security setting within the bank or the banking app. BOK is my primary account, so it’s relatively frustrating not being able to use Plaid.

Life Saver!

This has been a life saver for me! As a single parent for a long time BOK has walked me through every crisis and every celebratory moments my children and I have experienced. I really wanted a second chance at learning about income and something I couldn’t do on my own! Thank you BOK for catching me when I fall and teaching me how to be confident on my two feet!!

Great app

I use the Bank of Oklahoma app several times a week. I find it consistent, no crashes and it’s easy to navigate. I especially appreciate the new external transfer feature so I’m able to move money to other banking institutions. That’s super helpful to me and really makes my life simpler. Isn’t that what apps should do? Make your life simpler?

I’m rating it five stars and would give it a ten if I could.

Great,but

Love BOK and have for years, but there is a fee if you transfer funds to another bank. In order to move money between accounts I have, I have to make a check out and deposit it in that bank. Maybe I just don’t understand how to do it. Would like too find out if there is a way. Otherwise I love the bank and look for the excellent service provided.

Our positive banking experience

We love this bank. Until recently they were like any bank in town.
We got a text from our bank asking us to verify some transactions. As it turned out, someone tried to use our bank card out of state and our Bank ,BANK of OKLAHOMA, caught the abnormal charge and saved our money as well as any overdraft fees. Thank you BANK of OKLAHOMA

Not the Best

My biggest issue with BankofOklahoma and online banking is that bill pay payments only show up after they have cleared and don’t show as pending reductions to your account like other banks. It makes it much harder to reconcile account using online activity. Also don’t like how you have to create bill payees on each devise used. They don’t show up on all devises. Overall, it does the job but not great.

Best Bank App Ever

I’ve been a member of Bank of Oklahoma since 1990 and have had many service experiences with them - all very positive. I’ve used other banks as well, and I can tell you BOK is The Best. I’m older and an English teacher, so technical stuff isn’t always my favorite, but BOK’s bill pay app is hands-down the easiest to use. A couple of clicks and I’m done. I pay all my bills from here, so I have only the one password to remember (and protect). I am able to pull up the history of any account at any time. And on the rare occasion that the merchant makes an error or loses my payment, I’ve sent an email via online banking and BOK’s experts have responded immediately. They have been professional and gotten results every time. I can’t brag enough about how easy it is to use this bank’s online options. BOK is THE BEST!

I really appreciate all the services provided by BOK - I am especially enjoying the mobile app and all the services provided for the customers . I am very impressed by the customer service employees that I have had to communicate problems with . They listen very closely to my problems and go out of their way to help me - very patient and caring . Please don’t ever change . I worked in the banking profession for 40 years and I do appreciate the way BOK operates !! Thank you very much !

Mediocre

Won’t let me send payments out of some of my accounts but will in others with no rhyme or reason to explain the rationale. They say it’s federal regs but that is BS. Also BankofOklahoma works most of the time but times out while you are in the middle of doing banking or not. Apparently it kicks you out a certain amount of time after you log in whether you are still using it or not. There are other issues but that is a big annoying one.

Great

I love BankofOklahoma . It’s easy to use and doesn’t crash or do anything that would annoy me. I just wanted to write a review to see if they could add a feature where on the descriptions of purchases or deposits if it would allow me to type notes or add a picture (like a receipt) so it can help me better in jogging my memory of what did I use my money for. Sometimes I would look through my activity and I get scared when I see what I bought and the description of the place I paid at, but I don’t remember how it got there even though I know I likely paid for it.

BOK makes banking easier!

I have done business with BOK for over 20 years! I got my parents to switch from Arvest to BOK. When I moved back to Oklahoma in 92 I wanted to bank with someone that has atms in QT and don’t charge for use. This is why I became a BOK
account holder. Through the years they have helped me dispute charges, helped with unintended overdraft fees. They have been so helpful and accommodating with many situations! I started using mobile banking since they came out with it. It has saved me so much time, helping with my busy schedule! They have great customer service in person and their 24hour phone service. If you are shopping for a new bank put BOK at the top of your list!

Great app

I’ve had BankofOklahoma for several years now, and though the layout has changed significantly since its creation, BankofOklahoma is still accessible. It gets five stars because, when a previous update made BankofOklahoma inaccessible and I alerted them to the issue, The next update fixed the problem. Fabulous work, BOK!!!

I don't know when I last reviewed BankofOklahoma, but it's still a great banking app. If you are a blind banker who lives in Oklahoma, Bank Of Oklahoma prize itself on remaining accessible. The only thing I can't do is deposit checks on my own. re-ordering checks is also still a problem, but it is by no means a dealbreaker. Thank you, BOK, for your commitment to accessibility.

App Is One of the Best Banking Apps out there

I’ve been a Bank of Oklahoma customer for maybe 30 years. I really love this banking app. I use it often. I do have one minor issue though. I’m learning French by changing the language of my mobile phone. When I open it some of the text is in English and the rest is in French. It looks like the software is specifically looking for a string of English text because when I try to do a mobile deposit I get an error. When I switch my phone language back to English it works again. Maybe change all the elements to either hardcode the text values to English or change them all to use the default language on the phone. Again great job!

Bok

I’ve sealed with plenty of banks, and this is by far the best, as far as having superior products. Brad Williams in investing is the best financial adviser I’ve ever come across. I’ve tried firststar , canarsa , Charles swab, fidelity, Edward Jones.
Your financial app is the most user friendly, by far the easiest to use and all your employees try to solve my problems in any way they can. Thank you Shari.
