I tried to edit a photo in my album then save the resulting file, which crashed my entire library and wiped clean my photo album on my phone. I had to restore everything from iCloud and was lucky I got most of the photos back, but did not get my album organization back at all so that photos I previously sorted into albums were never recovered. I had to pay for this as well since ToonCamera costs 99 cents; so at minimum I need my money back from the publisher. Just a warning to everyone that it could crash your software and photos can be erased.

You control the type of filter you apply by tapping through a selection of various pen and paintbrush icons, but they don’t describe what you’ll get. You just have to try them all through trial and error. Within the filter, you can change the degree of filtering by tapping a “line” icon. It cycles through a range of changes but gives you no indication of when you have looped back to the beginning of the selection. You just keep tapping until you recognize a pattern or find a look you like. A slider bar or some kind of progress marker would be nice.

For the price of a soda, you get a fun little app to turn your photos into cartoons.

With the new comic filter on iOS 12, some of my friends don’t have comic filter because their phones and iPads don’t support it. I’ve been using Toon Camera for a long time and it is great.

It has lots of ways to adjust the filters, and there are a lot of them. It’s just as good as the comic filter that is built into iMessage on iOS 12- so I recommend it to anyone who can’t get those filters.

This is a solid app. It allows you to save the photos in high or regular resolution to your camera roll. Highly recommend Toon Camera! You can even make videos using it with the filters, and you can use photos that you’ve already taken and make adjustments in ToonCamera ! How cool is that? Very cool!

I love ToonCamera. However, in the last couple of weeks a couple of issues have arisen. It will no longer record sound and it is having a difficult time sharing to Photos on my iPad.

I like ToonCamera and it’s fun but it doesn’t record the images as video, just as pics.

Easy to use with decent features. Maybe not the most robust photo editor, but it does the job well in many situations while remaining very easy to use.

This is an easy to use app with lots of fun. When I first downloaded it, I thought I might use it about once a year. But now I use it all the time. I love the various cartoon drawing styles it can create from photos. And best of all: it also can convert film clips. Love it!

I am really enjoying playing with ToonCamera. I am having fun figuring out how to creative pictures with this software. In time I’ll probably look for some info on how to fine tune my works of art. Try it.

This is hands down the best cartoon app. It is so far above any other program that it's incredible. It does everything well and the ease of use is like a dream come true. I use it to take photos using the pencil and then use those photos on t-shirts.

I live to be able to try out a sequence in video and see it in animation almost instantly. I started in animation 40 years ago and never believed I'd be able to have the whole studio operating from my phone one day!

I'm not normally impressed, but ToonCamera is amazing. Not all pics look good with certain filters but if you play around with the settings you can make some truly awesome art. I would pay allot of money to have an artist do some pictures like this and now I don't have to.

When will you make use of the iPhone 11 Pro lenses or is it possible?

Your app support links to you site, but there is no link. This is so common among developers and a majority of app support links lead nowhere. That’s not to say that I own all of your apps since day one and I love everyone of them. Toon camera is unique and plenty of creative potential.

I got this years ago when it first came out. Intuitively easy to use. I’m not a professional artist or photographer so I can’t comment on the Apps technical quality, but it produces more than satisfactory images for my needs. Can’t find anything to be critical about ToonCamera .

I Love ToonCamera! Took a few minutes to figure out how to apply it to photos in my album, so new users, plz expect a little learning curve. I read that the IT staff r very helpful, but some trial and error practice resulted in the creation of a very cool rendition using a photo from my own album (w/o their assistance)! Hints...Make ample use of the info icon in the upper right corner and when in doubt “double click”!

I anticipate playing with this new app for awhile today. Feels like Christmas as a kid when you find the one toy that finally works the way it was demonstrated on TV!

Despite the fact that I’m 61 years old , I’m in joying the hell out of ToonCamera ! I Toon almost every picture I take to the point my kids are getting very annoyed at me ! Who cares right ! That’s what I’m living for ! Anyhow keep up the good work ! Maybe in the future you can add a self timer, it would be fun to get in some pictures myself !

I can spend hours on here. I have a lot of pictures and it is so amazing to see all the fun & different ideas you can make up and save. Get ToonCamera and let your creativity go crazy! Before you know it you’ll be patting yourself on the back saying “WOWZY! Did I actually take that pic and create this by myself. “I am really good! Thank you for inventing this fun app!

It’s terrific and only boring if what you’re using it on is. I don't just use it for Toons. It has a way of bringing collages together that is terrific. I really only use the color filters so it would be nice to have more of those! (I have used the line drawing to turn my art into coloring pages for my nieces). Sometimes I use it only on sections or a layer!

This latest update has it all! I've had ToonCamera for well over a year now and it still keeps me entertained with it's versatility and intuitive navigation. Still one of my favorites. I apply this experimentally to many of my existing pictures and get delightful results. The new update is great. New cartoon effects are a nice bonus. I've used this at parties and it's always a hit. Solid!

Honestly I don’t buy a lot of apps. But sometimes I’ll find something that seems interesting and take a chance. So I took a chance on ToonCamera and so far I really like it. It’s very simple gives you a small selection to choose from when it comes to styles. But it’s pretty cool to see everything you take photos of or video in toon mode. My kids like it as well so for the price honestly it’s worth it. :)

I wish they had a mode that allowed me to make a simple coloring book page from an image without any infill. Just take a simple image and have ability to enhance outline of mail subject and print pages for kids to color. Would be 5 stars if this feature was included. But fun app for sure. Great deal. Also, did not see and tutorial or help tabs?

ToonCamera is truly amazing. It has helped me make my photos and videos come alive in minutes/seconds in ways that would have taken hours using other drawing apps. I’m an artist and ToonCamera is so simple it’s great.
