I downloaded and paid for annual subscription. Uploading stops as soon the iPhone screen goes dark. Doesn’t work in the background. In order to wake ASUSWebStorage up you have to constantly keep opening ASUSWebStorage . Totally not worth your money. Frustrated here

I have experienced the same issue for over six months and customer service tells me info that I already know, or trouble shooting steps that I have tried.
Can not access the cloud from my iPhone. Same error message “can not connect to server”
I did like the service when I could access; however, I will need to cancel because I can’t use it.

I just loaded and ran ASUSWebStorage. It “seemed” to have loaded all my photos, but turns out it did not get through them all. There is nothing showing you what ASUSWebStorage is doing or it’s progress status. I then opened it again AND IT STARTED (on its own) A NEW FOLDER and started syncing AT THE BEGINNING! How stupid is that? A DUPLICATE INCOMPLETE FOLDER, if I can’t keep it running long enough. I loaded ASUSWebStorage because there was an offer for 1 TB for 2 years for $30. It made me sign in, install ASUSWebStorage , and then the deal was now gone! Now it way more for way less space... and now this uncontrollable redundancy will use space up REALLY fast. Pretty absurd.

Update a full day later and it has barely synced half my photos!! I can barely use my phone, for fear of interrupting the snail. If that happens it’ll probably take THREE MORE FULL DAYS to start ALL OVER AGAIN and finish!! Good thing I haven’t bought any subscription...

App will not connect for me. The blue loading screen appears for around 15 seconds and then ASUSWebStorage crashes. I can log on using a browser, but that is too cumbersome for using this service. I have tried restarting my phone (XS, running current iOS), and uninstalling/reinstalling ASUSWebStorage to no avail. Hope they fix it!

I got this because I didn’t want to pay for apple iCloud, and this was a much better priced alternative. Sadly though, it was not to be. The upload speed is very slow, and after I got about halfway through my photo backup ASUSWebStorage ceased to work- and crashed every time I tried to open it. I cannot use it anymore to any capacity, and have tried re-downloading it with the same results.

Automatic file syncing will be nice.. ... I have several devices and need to sync every file manually.. Wish I can just set it and forget it, so that when i take a picture on my iPad it will sync to this service so i can get it automatically on my other devices. Dropbox has this feature but if I use there service... The USB drive attached to My Asus router (RT-AC66R) won't auto sync because it only syncs with asus cloud storage. Please make automatic syncing of the photo stream

Dear Software Developer,

1. Purchase iPad Pro 12.9” Pro (or 11”)

2. Purchase Logi Slim Folio Pro (or perhaps a Brydge Keyboard)

3. Attach iPad to keyboard

4. Go to App Store, Install your App

5. Launch Your App

6. Take note that Your App doesn’t work so well in LANDSCAPE Mode, at least after the log in, your app swaps to working in PORTRAIT Mode. Thus you get two stars instead of one.

7. Modify your app to work in LANDSCAPE only Mode during login.

8. Watch user change your rating from two stars to more than two stars

Extremely basic app. You can’t even choose the direction of sort so you can see the most recent files at the top. Users expect a lot more from Asus.

Can’t backup if you switch to another app or screen goes off. Also photo thumbnails are too small.

I can login to my asus webstorage account on my PC and mobile Safari，but I can not login in ASUSWebStorage with same account and correct password（I am sure）.

I have yet to find a way to add backup security for logging in. I suggest having a very strong unique password.

They don't tell you. I found out when there was a file in my storage in Chinese (turned out to be a Welcome/Intro). At first, it was no big deal since I thought it was one of my wife's files (she's Japanese) and kept uploading. When I knew what it was and after researching Asus. I deleted my files and shut down my acct. Maybe this is not a big deal to you, but I need the comfort factor that my records are secured by a North American company. I like Carbonite. It's much better but more pricy.

Update: ASUS developer reached out and convinced me into upgrading my storage. The pricing is way better for 1TB compared to iCloud . It lacks flexibility though because I can’t share files between this and other apps within iOS . The only way is for me to access this app on the browser. Only from there I can upload files from iOS files app.

I was hoping to connect to my home network and USB drives attached to the router. As a cloud storage the size you get is abysmal. iCloud is way more generous.

I thought this would be faster. It really is slow as compared to other storage sites and platforms.
I’d like to have all my images stored automatically a set it and forget it function. How do I backup all my iPhones photo and video files quickly easily and one time setup and forget it.
Seems I wasted my money.

I used to never have a problem with ASUSWebStorage, but I don't know what happened. Some kind of bug with the new iOS. It follows my updates to the account fine, I can see all the files I've added, but when I try to save them, it says it does without them ever appearing in my photos. I've tried to save around 6 photos and only one worked. Please fix, guys. 😭

I use multiple devices. I have a laptop, desktop, and two phones that I constantly move data from and to. I can’t seem to be signed in to more than one device at the same time and being signed into one phone being a Galaxy S22 and the other iPhone 13 Pro, the iPhone doesn’t recognize the account at all saying it is incorrect.

ASUSWebStorage is clunky but it works well for file and image storage. I can easily access them from anywhere.
Music files do not work. ASUSWebStorage displays information about the song, as if it were a file info window, when I expect that the song will play.
Every link I tried in help and tutorials failed. The contact email is no good.

I just downloaded ASUSWebStorage because my storage in the cloud is full, as of three months ago, (thanks for the heads up), then saw the reviews. Why are they 6,7 even 8 year old reviews? Has anything improved recently with ASUSWebStorage to store my photos and videos? What other options can anyone suggest besides ASUSWebStorage? Take note, I am a Flintstone, not a Jetson.. need I elaborate? Am open to any alternative...thanks ll out there. Marcy

I can not play video files on my iPhone iOS 10. It shows only frozen picture and doesn't start playing. Can this be fixed ?

I vine aces transformer to 100 which I must say is a great device, and aces game he 1000 GB permanent for the aces web storage... This is just like dropbox, if not better but except we 1000 GB for life! Come on now people, come on. This is great!
