I’ve attempted to do everything to get LinktoMyASUS to work with my iPhone 12 but was only able to get the Remote Desktop pairing to work. It won’t allow me to pair the device, I’ve gone step by step with their directions and nothing works. I’ve been able to transfer files from my iPhone to the laptop but if I go from the laptop to phone it crashes LinktoMyASUS . I’ve checked that I had the latest driver so I know it’s not that. My phone and laptop are paired to each other . The PC app recognizes my device but when I click on my device it goes directly to a “Pairing error” alert and tells me to check if I’m on wifi and if my Bluetooth is turned on. When it tells me to “tap “start connecting your PC via Bluetooth “ button...” it only brings up some additional instructions to follow on the PC app.

I was able to get the screen sharing to work once but overall I haven’t been successful with LinktoMyASUS. It’s a promising app that I would love to use but can’t unfortunately.

I’m glad the developers are listening to feedback. I now received all notifications and initiate calls from my ASUS ExpertBook B9450. However, I cannot hear nor be heard on those calls from my PC. Screen mirroring lacks the ability to use my laptop’s mouse or trackpad. This is a move in the right direction. I would like to participate in any beta test flight on iOS to help improve the product. Thank you for your effort.

I just started to use LinktoMyASUS and I love the idea it has. I does work but for some reason only the remote access part of LinktoMyASUS . It is able to send and receive files perfectly fine, but the priority device is not able to connect to my laptop to my iPad. The files transfer with remote access, but that’s it. Other then that love LinktoMyASUS .

They’re trying to recreate the Apple ecosystem with a PC, but it just isn’t that easy. You can’t just create an app for the computer and mobile device, it’s going to give you nothing but bugs and problems like this software does. Id love it if I could take calls and texts from my PC laptop and my iPhone like I can with my iMac, but that’s probably never going to happen. As it stands now, the only people with a prayer to get LinktoMyASUS working are IT pros, and they don’t care about “features” like this. I applaud the effort though.

LinktoMyASUS lets me share files quick also lets me use my iPad as a second monitor. Connecting it is a bit confusing and takes a bit of reconnecting devices but after is set it works great.

I appreciate ASUS’s attempt to build an ecosystem with its laptops and phones and the features it offers are just amazing! However, my phone never reconnects after reopening the laptop. I always find myself needing to pair the phone and laptop again to connect them after reopening.
Also, it would be nice if we can have a notification on our phone when the phone receives an file. It notifies us when we revive an URL and it would be nice to have an notification too when receiving a file!

I get “Email Sign In Failure,” in my iPhone App, when I know for certain I’m using userid and password that I’ve just used to sign the PC app into MyAsus. I’ve paired and connected iPhone and PC via BlueTooth, but MyAsus “Connect a Device” never sees my iPhone in “Select nearby device” Dialog. All-in-all: great disappointment. I plan to remove LinktoMyASUS and abandon connectivity attempts.

I should note that I am a technologist and I *think* I know what I’m doing. That may be complicating things…

Yeah, I love the concept. An app that doubles as both a remote access to your PC and a way to forward info back and forth between devices. The issue is that it barely works. LinktoMyASUS crashes when you try to remote in and this is on a brand new IPHONE 13 and a $3,000 asus desktop. If it doesn't work on these devices, it doesn’t work on any of them I’d imagine. Please fix this.

Only thing that scares is potential security vulnerabilities, but other than that it works as advertised. Just takes some fumbling around to get used to how it works

Had to restart computer, retry several times. But once it is connected, everything works great. Everything the Microsoft touted three years ago but never achieved.

two things to improve.

The mirror function with mouse keyboard is not working properly. The phone click is not in the same place as where the mouse is.

Calling can receive FaceTime audio and forward it to the computer. But you can’t initiate FaceTime audio from the computer, only regular phone calls.

I am an iPhone user and up until recently (work related) was primarily on a Mac PC. I am now seeing a lot more Windows OS time and was excited to see LinktoMyASUS, as one thing I miss most is having access to my desktop while working remotely, via my iPhone. It is entirely disappointing that LinktoMyASUS crashes every single time I try to remote access my Asus desktop. I hope this can be fixed with future updates.

Good and fast at transferring videos, photos, and documents from my phone to my laptop.

The services are good and rapid. Been using on a regular to transfer files and connect my devices together for notifications and calls. It’s a good software for multitasking. Thanks!

Been using LinktoMyASUS for several weeks never had a problem works to perfection

Trying to transfer a file via Bluetooth cause I don’t have wifi access…go into my laptop link to MyASUS program I see it’s trying to connect…check windows 11 Bluetooth Devices and it showed that’s paired and connected! What of time trying to get this right when the program doesn’t work either on iOS or the desktop app

def not reliable, i am an ios user and haven't gotten the text phone call feature to work once and all the other features are hit or miss sometimes they work but most of them time they don't. Its very FRUSTRATING especially as much as a paid for my laptop its 2021 step it up ASUS!

Great method to transfer file from mobile phone to laptop. It is quick and reliable

It work really well for files from my iPhone to my Asus Zenbook! It is more efficient than scanning and transferring documents to my pc

Worked flawlessly on iPhone X. Now with an iPhone 12 Pro, my ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo keeps rejecting the connection either due to a bluetooth or WiFi problem (there's none, both devices have bluetooth enabled and connected to the same WiFi network). Extremely frustrating with no solution in the horizon.

I haven’t had any issues with LinktoMyASUS . Works well, a little slow to get started but once connected it’s solid. Great tool!!

I have not been able to transfer any doc. or pix from my phone to my computer. On top of that, since I turned this feature on it has slowed down my computer and my online access and viewing. I cannot get things done in a timely manner. I have had to resort to messaging myself pictures.

App crashes every time I turn on remote file access and that’s the only reason I’d ever want LinktoMyASUS. 2 stars because I can’t still transfer pictures (and only pictures) with file send/receive feature.

Actually the concept and app is just awesome, you guys nailed it. But try hard to make it stable, reduce latency.

The MyASUS connect never connects. The iPhone and PC are linked as per instructions but LinktoMyASUS never connects to the PC. Receiving the message Connection failed, please try again. Have followed the suggestions on others listed here to no avail.

Every call I made close to my computer flipped to computer audio, set it back to phone it set it back to computer. Advice, don’t install.
