Orlando Theme Park Day Reviews

I love OrlandoThemeParkDay it has a lot of great features. My favorite one is that I can watch the rides videos before hand and also that I can customize my plans. I go to the parks a lot and OrlandoThemeParkDay really helps me organize my day very easy.

I decided to rely on OrlandoThemeParkDay for wait times and it led to much frustration. On the most popular rides, it was way off. I tried to do my part and submit accurate wait times to help the cause but it never updated to that. Also, I had used the park attendance tracker to pick our day to go to the parks. We went on a “green” day, but it was actually exceptionally busy according to a couple of Disney employees with whom we spoke. We didn’t get to do much of what we wanted to do. OrlandoThemeParkDay and website are great tools but unfortunately the most pertinent information was misleading and inaccurate.

This is my go to app for visiting Orlando theme parks. It has wait times, ride descriptions, and suggestions on when to visit rides. I also love the graph that shows when the rides are expected to be less busy. I like the map view so I can see how to easily get to the ride I'm looking for.

I think the restaurants view is nice. I'd like if it had a filter like the list of rides so I can see what's a restaurant and what's fast food.

Overall a great app and easier to use than the official apps.

Could see wait times and crowd levels of each park and ride. New app is just day plans. It’s a hassle to get crowd/wait times now. :(

Just back from Orlando. OrlandoThemeParkDay gives nice peeks at the key attractions and helps you plan the day. Everyone needs a plan to know which rides are “must do”!

I had trouble getting my plan to save, and OrlandoThemeParkDay developer contacted me to help! He figured out the problem, and now I can plan my trip! Thanks, David!

Hi, I’m trying to create an account and the button to submit and create an account is unusable/non-clickable.

I liked it up until the point where all my plans disappeared. I put a substantial amount of work into getting a good set of plans together for Disney and Universal, now they’re gone. I should have just used a spreadsheet.
Also, when you add a new item to a plan it should be added at the end of the list, not the beginning.

We have gone 9 years straight now to Disney and always rely on their crowd calendar!

I love that I can customize park plans for myself. But when I try to customize Epcot it immediately crashes

You have ruined OrlandoThemeParkDay!!! I used this the last time I went to Disney & now I can’t even get a wait time map without clicking through 2 or 3 screens! I have never left a rating on an app before but since you “updated” OrlandoThemeParkDay it is basically unusable!

I loved being able to see the wait times because the official app does not allow you to see them unless you have a vacation....time to look for another app that will do this for me...not a good choice to delete them on the update 😡

It would be nice to see wait time data when parks are closed

Trouble finding general website information on OrlandoThemeParkDay such as booking hotels or purchasing tickets or accessing tickets purchased.

Lines were not updated to park, not easily useable, once you select the attractions you can’t move them around to help navigate through the park. It would be nice to see what the attraction is before you add it to your plan.

I love using this site to choose the best day to go

Don’t like that I’m unable to purchase tickets through OrlandoThemeParkDay . That’s the only reason I downloaded it. The other functions are irrelevant as Disney and Universal already have ACCURATE wait times posted on their park apps.

I cannot seem to find my previous purchases or to make anything over a one day plan.
OrlandoThemeParkDay seems to not be useful.

Entered email to sign in and reset password. Was told the email is invalid. It’s definitely not invalid. Tried to create an account. Same error message.

Helpful planning tips!

I have never been to Orlando, but if I do end up going sometime in my life OrlandoThemeParkDay will always be on my phone screen. I always love staring at OrlandoThemeParkDay throughout my day, just to see the wait times as they change during the exciting day at the park. My only complaint is that the parks close at night, so the times no longer show up. I understand that the park is closed so it is not really the fault of OrlandoThemeParkDay , but still I would enjoy to see the wait times even if they are just flat out made up. Cannot recommend enough for non Orlando use, like I said earlier have not actually been to Orlando.

This is a great app and really has the potential to be a great app. The ability to put dining reservations complete with numbers is really nice. The ability to take pictures of your park passes is another really great function. The area that I think needs improved is the group function where you can know where other members of your are throughout the parks. I would be standing right next to my wife and it always said we were 100 or more feet apart. When the parks are crowded and you can't pinpoint someone within less than a few hundred feet it is very difficult if not nearly impossible to find them. Keep working on it guys, it's the best app of this type that I am using down here at Disney World.

Wait times do not match at all nor does the crowd color.

UPDATE: tried OrlandoThemeParkDay again since I'm a month from my trip & it still doesn't work. Can't login. Still get the goofy contest message. Can't upgrade. You get sent to the internet with a page not found message. Too bad there isn't as much time devoted to OrlandoThemeParkDay as to the website. Ok I just took the time to scroll through the reviews and the most recent is 2012. So nobody must use this any longer. And Undercover Tourist just abandoned OrlandoThemeParkDay.
ORIGINAL: I've been playing with this for a few days now & still can't easily navigate it. Trying to plan a trip for the 1st week of Feb. Can't!!! Maybe this is only to be used once you're there. But I don't want to wait until I'm on my trip to make plans. Can't access any other dates except current. Too frustrating. Not having fun planning my trip. Tap on log in. I keep getting some goofy message about some contest. Tap on my plans. Told I have no plans. Told to tap on the notebook icon when in main park page. Click on a park. Nothing but the current date. No icon to tap. Tried dates in Oct. just to see if I can get it to work. NOTHING!!!! FRUSTRATED!!!!!
Maybe if I'd tap on the flashing upgrade button to the paid version I wouldn't be having these issues. Tapped on app help but I get a 404 Not Found. So can't even get help.
Loved the website. Thought I'd love OrlandoThemeParkDay . Not so much.

I downloaded for an upcoming trip and so far I am very impressed and anxious to try in park! I was able to input my dining reservations in the planner and set reminders for these reservations. Can also choose show times for parades and shows and add to the planner and set reminders. I also went through and selected rides that I plan to do or may want to do as favorites so I can control what info it is displaying when in park. All in all, this appears that this will be a great and useful app as long as the wait times as accurate. I plan to help contribute to this social app by updating any observed wait times while using OrlandoThemeParkDay in park, which OrlandoThemeParkDay appears to depend on to be accurate. I hope others do this too! Now I just hope for good battery life and interent signal in park! I will update my review after using OrlandoThemeParkDay in park.

I really love OrlandoThemeParkDay. We haven't got to use it at Disney yet, but we'll be going in a few months (and we'll be ready). I see that there is so much here that would have been useful on our last trip. There were indoor rides that were closed due to weather, and I just didn't understand (after walking across the park in the rain to get to it). But OrlandoThemeParkDay shows what rides are closed so we don't waist our time. Not to mention, times being posted for waits in line for the rides that are open (which is what OrlandoThemeParkDay is mainly for). The maps look much nicer than other apps I've seen. And the restaurant information really makes this better than guide books that I've seen.

For free, OrlandoThemeParkDay is amazing! The greatest feature is the parking feature, mark it with GPS and have a satellite view back to your car. It has pretty accurate ride wait times and the maps are pretty good. Cons: doesn't show anything else on the map except rides and some shows. You still need a park map for some shows, bathrooms, etc. The show times can be repetitive and incorrect. Other than that, made me feel like an old hand on my first visit.

OrlandoThemeParkDay is fun to use, very pleasant to the eye, and generally well-designed. For people who want the core functionality of wait times, parade times, maps, and crowd forecasts, I think you'll be well-pleased with OrlandoThemeParkDay. It pulls a lot of functionality together into a single package.

I experienced a problem with the schedule function. Prior to an upcoming trip, I entered all of my dining reservations so I would have that information easily accessible in OrlandoThemeParkDay . Unfortunately, after one of OrlandoThemeParkDay 's updates, all of my saved schedule information was erased. I recall reading that other users had a similar experience, although I can't remember whether their problem was on this version or the paid version. That is the reason for my low rating: any app that erases/deletes/loses my data deserves a low ranking.

I recently went to Disney World with my two young nephews (5&6 yrs) and I was originally concerned about standing in line for hours in the hot Florida sun with two young boys. However, before we left for Orlando, I downloaded OrlandoThemeParkDay to try it out. In addition to being sleek and very easy to operate, the wait times and information were spot on! It took all of the guesswork out of planning which rides we would go on and how long we'd be waiting. When you're trying to keep track of two little boys in a crowded park, knowing which wait is the shortest certainly can relieve a headache!

I definitely recommend OrlandoThemeParkDay, its a lifesaver!

I can not even begin to tell you how much OrlandoThemeParkDay helped us!! We relied on it for everything!! We booked our trip based on their crowd calendar and it was spot on! The longest attraction line we waited in was 20 minutes. We booked our fast passes according to their touring plans and it worked perfectly and flowed so smoothly. We have been to Disney World 6 times in the past and this was definitely our best trip yet! OrlandoThemeParkDay helped us enjoy our time better. We got more accomplished but felt less rushed. It kept us organized and maximized our family vacation. Don't go to Disney World without it!!
