Compare to just about every other two factor app I have used, Entrust Identity is by far the worst. When attempting to use it for two factor that a site sends to it, you have to toggle back and forth between the identities and actions screen before you actually see the two factor prompt. By then the site you are trying to get into may have expired the login. Also, when launching EntrustIdentity it often hangs at a white screen with nothing on it. This apps needs a lot more work and it is sad that many large corporations have to rely on this for their customers. It is 2021. There is no reason why a two factor app can’t be fully functional and not cause a delay of over 10 seconds to use (in this apps case we are taking more than a minute to use it).

Voice over does not read the options when setting up a new identity. After selecting the + to add an identity the options for manual entry and qr scan do not have any description in voice over

With this version on an iPhone 7, I cannot enter a PIN on the SETTINGS screen when creating a token. The keypad does not go away after entering the pin and I cannot scroll down to continue the setup. I’m stuck at this point with no way to proceed.

Now, at this point, the bank thinks a token is active, but EntrustIdentity is not finished with the token setup and you are stuck in no mans land.

Just rolled out an update with “bug fixes” and new user experience.

App no longer refreshes upon opening and now requires that you manually refresh. App frequently (almost always) freezes after a few minutes and requires restart and relogin to resume function on IOS version. Now requires more clicks for the same functionality.

Overall a major downgrade in user experience with what was previously a well functioning app with no bugs or freezes in my experience.

App hangs at “Entrust” splash screen for 30 seconds before crashing. What’s worse is that my bank ONLY uses your MFA for authentication. Looks like I need to go persuade my bank to drop your app and get one that actually works, and is maintained by people who actually update their apps.

The most annoying app ever. It doesn’t even work one hundred percent. Yes, some times it does work and sometimes you got stuck and can’t log in. And you have to call to get help and it will take you 30 minutes and an hour before you can log in again It just a waste of time. Thank you!

EntrustIdentity barely works. Freezes all the time leaving me locked out of my accounts. When EntrustIdentity is working, it shows the WRONG security codes on the home page until you click on the target account and then go back.

This version presents an option to use Face ID, however it is disabled and cannot be turned on. You can turn on using Touch ID, which is useless on iPhone X. If you try turning on Face ID after enabling Touch ID, you get an error that both of them cannot be ON at the same time.

App was working fine until today. EntrustIdentity looks like it is stuck updating or something and the only way to access it is from the library tab or from EntrustIdentity Store. Super annoying when the icon is literally on my home screen your system just isn’t properly compatible with iPhone.

EntrustIdentity very rarely EVER checks for transactions and you can’t make it do so. Even push notifications will not force EntrustIdentity to check for transactions — unless EntrustIdentity wasn’t running in the background first.

EntrustIdentity gets wrong what so many other identity providers have been doing for years now...

With IOS 13.2 when touchid is enabled, it is disabled after a few uses and has to be enabled all over again

I use EntrustIdentity almost daily and hangs and crashes around 10-25% of the time when I first open it up.

I use EntrustIdentity at least 30x per day, authentication is a nonstop thing in my business life, I’d really like to have a watch app companion to this phone app. Microsoft’s Azure has this already.

Needs to be able to approve logins on Apple Watch and make it so you don’t need to open application just hold down on notification to approve or deny

Would love to have this on my Apple Watch. Trying not to carry my phone when moving around at work but as long as I can’t use it on my watch I have to take the phone.

Great app - easy to use and very convenient. Wish it had an Apple Watch feature to allow one to authorize from the watch without having to pull the phone out. Other than that, very happy.

Ignore the other review saying it’s working. No. once you’ve made any change say add alternative face, EntrustIdentity doesn’t allow faceid anymore, clearly a bug that they never bother to fix.

Lots of complaints about Face ID not working on the newer devices, but if you go into Settings\Entrust, you can allow EntrustIdentity to access your camera, which turns on Face ID. Works totally fine for me.

Could IdentityGuard be any more awful? Every single piece of this solution is half baked and buggy. Just end of life this crap already so corporations are forced to replace it.

Keyboard is not presented if EntrustIdentity was left active when the phone locks. Have found a work around except to kill app and reopen. Your QA is a wast of time and money.

No watch app, no support for phone screen sizes released over last three generations, and hangs on launch under iOS 13. Barely functional.

Some time after the iOS upgrade to 13 EntrustIdentity stopped using face ID. Even after turning it on, in app settings, it defaults to off after a while.

Used to be solid. Went for years with Touch ID. Now I have to type my PIN and re-enable Touch ID half the time. Please fix

I have to use EntrustIdentity 10 times a day to log onto our systems. Instead of unlocking my phone and opening EntrustIdentity every single time, I would like a widget I can access from the lock screen.

Although it’s a bit frustrating that EntrustIdentity hasn’t been updated for the iPhone X and newer display sizes as EntrustIdentity los letterboxed on top and bottom.

FaceID setting in EntrustIdentity says that I need at least one registered identity to use FaceID. Well, I do have set up an identity for my bank, and it works fine.
At the same time the settings let me enable Touch ID which my iPhone X doesn't have.
So clearly there is suomething not coded correctly in EntrustIdentity.
Other than that EntrustIdentity works.

Face ID Workaround on iPhone X:
Turn on Touch ID, close app, go back in, it looks for Touch ID but then offers Face ID. Face ID then works, even though the FaceID setting in EntrustIdentity is still not enabled and cannot be enabled.
