Please allow for user ability to toggle between accounts. I’m one of those poor souls that has an iTunes account and and iCloud/Email account. Yes, different. Early iTunes account adopter and later paid iCloud; before iCloud became free for all. Now, the store automatically grabs the iCloud not the iTunes account. There no way to change it. This is poor executed and a major inconvenience. If one signs out of his/her primary device (iPhone) to force Apple Store App to take your iTunes account instead of iCloud, then it logs your iTunes account off of all of your devices. This is nightmare to log back into every single device. Again, poor execution and no common sense. So, I went to log into Apple Store in Safari on iPhone to bypass AppleStore logged to iCloud. I logged into Apple Store online after being harassed by iOS to log in with iCloud. Then, every time I selected to do something like “search for MagSafe charger” I was redirected to AppleStore with wrong account. Ergo, I HAD to delete the Apple Store App just to use Apple Store in Safari with my correct account. Again, poor execution and majorly inconvenient.
PLEASE FIX THIS INSANITY.
I actually like the Apple Store App…it will remain deleted until this mess is corrected.

I bought a MacBook Pro from apple website and apparently it is lost during shipment. It’s been 5 days and I am still waiting for it because they are doing an investigation on how or where it got lost. While I wait on the order I paid for. To speak to a supervisor takes 72 hours (have to laugh at that) 72 hours according to the generic reps they have answering the phones. I have been given the run around and still no MacBook Pro. Worst customer service company to deal with. Common sense would be let’s send the customer another one while we investigate. But not the geniuses at apple. Let’s make the customer who paid for his machine wait too. Apple is becoming a disgrace to itself. I would NEVER buy another thing thru them.!!!!

You seem to have everything else covered in these days of COVID-19. At the very least, your app could’ve made clear on an individual store’s page that you need to make an appointment to shop there in-person.
Just wasted a morning coming in to purchase an item that your app said was available and gave me the store hours, but didn’t mention it’s by appointment only, even for items that don’t require a specialist to set up (it DOES say you need an appointment for anything that you’d need specialist assistance with).
So while it’s nice that you outline that I need a mask to enter the store, the appointment necessity could be clearer.

Well, I am not typically one to leave a bad review but I guess today is a first. Apple let me down today. My ten year old son made some bad choices, guessed and changed our Apple ID password and spent a thousand bucks on in-app purchases. Granted- we should have caught him that day of instead of the next day, but within 48 hours we had confiscated the phone and contacted Apple. They reviewed everything and gave us back $200. I reached out again with no change in results, and one last time for good measure. They aren’t going to budge. I get that we need to be accountable, but we are out $800 and I feel like they could have done more.

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I would expect more from the amount they are charging for their products.
I recently tried to purchase an iPhone 13 through the online store. I tried my debit card about 5 times and it kept saying the payment failed. I then tried my dad’s credit card to see if it made a difference. Nothing, expect they were able to charge both of our cards for the one phone. I checked and no email with no confirmation number. I called several times the same day. I talked with someone rather helpful, or so I thought and said she found where it charged. She was then to push the charges through. Two days later, I have received nothing and the two cards are still charged. I called and called again. I got transferred about 20 times and got cut off a couple of times...how convenient for them. I was told they couldn’t find the charges. Nothing has been done and I’m still out the money with no phone to show for it. After that ridiculous amount of time wasted on trying to contact them and get some answers, I would rather just buy my phones from a different company. There is no reason for any of this.

Someone had the bright idea of having AppleStore automatically sign into tour local iCloud account on the device. Well & good, but some users still have a separate Apple ID for iTunes & purchases, and we always will apparently, as Apple won’t let users merge accounts.
There is no way that I can find to sign into a different Apple ID if you use one for purchases. There are directions at one point, but they are literally nonsensical. There’s a place in your iCloud settings where you can control which apps use iCloud- but again, AppleStore doesn’t follow the rules and is unlisted.
There is no way to send apple feedback on this issue besides reviews, as on the Apple feedback webpage, AppleStore is not listed with the other apple iOS apps. UPDATE: you can now submit feedback in AppleStore .
Convenience over usefulness seems to be the working mantra for Apple these days, but this issue is especially aggravating. Punishing older customers for issues that they can’t control is extremely bad form.

How many ios updates have you installed just to have another update to fix the one you installed the day before? Thats a flaw not in their technology but the company itself is flawed and will continue to be flawed. Innovation is lost with SJobs. You truly think SJobs would issue an iphone and then and give them a special letter just to extend the phone’s ‘shelf life’? Ie: iphone 6e. Who sells a phone and expects their customers to purchase the power cube separately? That is over a thousand dollar phone I’m talking about. Ghetto!
So AppleStore installation doesnt even work! Pressed it 20x’s and it just “reappears”. Ghetto!!

Outrageous! Apple is not only extremely expensive — it is a frustrating RIPOFF! I own 4 iOS devices and a MacBook Pro. Now, my iPads are obsolete and no longer supported because I cannot install iOS 13, in order to update other apple apps that I have already spent a fortune on! Including Charging cables that change with every product upgrade. Your business model and markup is unconscionable and untenable. You are consistently proving to be a poorer and poorer product value for the for the cost. Do not mistake my criticism and product re-evaluation for some convoluted delusion of self entitlement—it’s not. The truth is you are nothing better than an opportunistic Carpetbagger! Good luck with that!

As another recent reviewer noted, AppleStore now require you to sign into icloud to use AppleStore. This, even though I am signed into itunes and AppleStore store (just not signed into icloud).
When I try to open AppleStore , a dialog box opens up saying I must have an apple ID (which I do and am signed in) but when I click on the tab below that message, it takes me to settings where it asks me to sign into icloud!
I dont use icloud and never will, and AppleStore, until the update, never required me to use icloud in the 5 years I've been using it.
So its either a bug, or an asinine move by apple to try to shove icloud down our throats.

I thought this was amazing until… the day I bought a MacBook Pro and it said it would take like 3 days so I waited 3 days and it was not there I called customer service and they said they were going to get me a new one and then I got a call from them and they said they can’t they have to find my old package and they never did so I bought another one and it happened all over again so I just went to the store and they said they were going to get me a refund and they did and I got 2 and I gave it to a customer who said the same thing happened but only once and that was the end of that and me and her did not get our money back but whatever at least it was over and that was all I care about

Please review it’s been telling me that my iCloud is full and I don’t have space please review my acc I refuse to add a credit card on my account due to someone stole my information and used it to make purchases I have not done and the bank refuse to refund my money due to the person had all my information from t-Mobil also they send out 3 ear pods to different addresses that I do not reside I’ve called to get a return label never did one I pay off this bill and what I owe I will no longer be a t-Mobil customer ever again I purchased extra gbites for more storage know it’s telling me it’s full I will not let anyone in my family become a t- Mobil customer and the ones who have it will be closing out there account one there lease are up or the contract and also leasing a phone is absurd and all t-Mobil is doing is ripping people off sincerely Mrs Chong

I will placed an order for an apple series 7 watch stainless steel gold with gold Milanese loop to be delivered and set up through enjoy. The date of the deliver my currier called me when outside and I missed him call. I called him back while he was still on sit but he had told me he cancelled and could no longer deliver my items. He told me to call apple. I called apple and was told the order wasn’t cancelled yet just rejected by courier and told me he can do something on his end. I then called courier back to be told he can’t do anything to call apple. I called apple again to be told the order is now officially cancelled and to wait up to 5 business days for my refund and to replace my order (when the next delivery date won’t be till after Christmas). Worst experience ever Buyer Beware do not order from here if you don’t religiously listen for your phone

Never once have a felt so disrespected. I was on the phone with one of y’all’s technicians and the lady I spoke with was so rude. she was giving me all this attitude like it wasn’t her job to help me out I felt unwanted and unsafe. She mumbled extremely unnecessary stuff under her breath and she thought I couldn’t hear but i could. she was literally yelling at me through the phone and I felt harassed. this is so unacceptable!! Yall are supposed to be treating me with good respect, I’ve been a loyal customer for YEARS now all that loyalty to Apple just to be treated like garbage. The lady I spoke with needs her job removed as soon as possible. she shouldn’t be even allowed to speak with people with that attitude. i’m never ever recommending Apple to any of my family members or any of my friends Apple is a disgrace to humanity. Apple needs to fix or customer support unless they going to start losing customers. They already lost me.

I bought a keyboard here for a delivery. Delivery was delayed so called and was told by apple rep to wait until evening. Spent all day waiting nothing arrives. Then next morning I get an email saying that this was cancelled. I call and they said they cannot refund the full amount and I have to pay for sales tax for an item I did not even see. I tell them to cancel it and get me the full refund but they refused to until a team lead reviewed which requires 72 hours. Waiting period begins and following day I get an email stating the item was shipped when I did not want it now! I call again and they said now I have to return the item to get my refund. No credit, no admission of fault, just a hard stance on what needs to be done.
Conclusion is just go to your local retailer instead of depending on their service. If something goes wrong, it is pretty much impossible and requires so much effort and time on the customers end. You would think these guys and have ways to take care of their customers. Nope!

I unfortunately have 2 Apple IDs that I use all the time and many years later Apple provides no way to combine them. I had an Apple ID years ago with all of my iTunes purchases on it, then was able to get a free .Mac account when those came out, which became iCloud later. All my syncing goes through iCloud but my purchases go through my old Apple ID. I would absolutely love to combine them but you can’t.
Why do I bring this up? Well for some reason they built AppleStore to sign in to your iCloud account automatically. You can’t change it, it’s just whatever iCloud is signed in to your device. The phone lets you sign in to iCloud with one account and the stores with another Apple ID but AppleStore doesn’t care. You can’t manually sign out and sign in to another account or anything like that.
This is particularly an issue when you get a gift card. It will automatically apply the gift card when you tap on it from an email or something like that to your Apple ID used for App Store purchases on your phone. But AppleStore isn’t tied to that. And it is nearly impossible to move gift cards too. It has caused multiple headaches, because they don’t think of any edge cases (or don’t care).

Why in the world do my apps NEVER just auto update?? Never all the way from the first possibility to the 11 iPhone (currently own) I have the setting to auto update and always have had it set to that but I have to go into AppleStore Store hit my picture for profile and go to purchased apps, scroll through da h and everyone I have ever downloaded looking for the “update” icon. How ridiculous is that?? Maybe I’m not doing something right but I’d assume having that setting I wouldn’t have to do anything after that!!

I love AppleStore, buying items by scanning with my phone and not having to wait in line is incredible. The only bad thing about AppleStore is there’s no way of linking a gift card in your wallet with AppleStore (even two Apple employees at the store confirmed it).
In wallet, a gift card has an Apple Store icon but clicking it does nothing but open the Apple Store app. It doesn't apply the gift card to the purchase.

The absolute best, well thought out, customers focused and highly efficient way of doing things. I love AppleStore.
I deal with other apps, programs, softwares and various different computer system on diesel highway trucks and automotive application, and none can come up with the ease of use and efficiency of Apple. Apple has spoiled me so much that everything else just seems like it was developed by single IQ personnel.
I wish everything was Apple and ran by their system.

Rarely if ever needed to go to the store. I buy everything using AppleStore! It’s quick and easy.
If you know what you like and what you need, this is perfect. I also feel if you order using AppleStore , you’ll get better priority and shipping less times. If you’re just getting to know about apple products or aren’t tech savvy, then visit their store to learn more one-on-one!

The description of the version 5.7 update says, “features richer visuals... and more relevant info.” Before the update, I would tap the Shop tab, and immediately see a selection of my devices and product categories to start drilling down to the particular product I’m looking for. After the update, I tap on the Shop tab, and the first thing I see is a full screen ad for the iPhone. I have to scroll down to find my devices and product categories to begin a drill-down search. I almost feel I was lied to. Richer visuals and more relevant info really means full screen ads. This update was not for customers; it was for Apple at the expense of customers’ ease of use.

I tried to purchase an item from Apple store. First tried Microsoft edge app with no success. I also tried safari app with no success. Finally tried AppleStore and this has a bug for the PR abbreviation. It says it’s not a valid state. Finally I Complete the order in my Windows 10 pc using Microsoft edge without any problem. This is a shame for a company that claim the iPad substitute a pc. An app with that type of bugs at this history time it’s really a shame. Finally I end uninstalling AppleStore from my app. I can’t make a single order with AppleStore this supposed to be its main feature. Please repair this simple bug!!! And in the future please don’t make that terrible errors.

I purchased AirPods at 7pm for store pickup (said it would be ready by 8pm). I showed up at store at 7:30pm. The store rep said they couldn’t help me and that I would have to wait for processing. 8pm came and the store was still empty so I asked another rep to check and he said that I would have to wait as I continue to see them bring AirPods out for in store customers. 8:15pm came and I called Apple Support, which called the store to ask what was taking so long....the store rep reassured Apple Support that it wouldn’t be much longer. 9pm and the store is closing....frustrating and I asked to speak to a manager. The product came out shortly after I ask to speak to the manager.....only 1 hour over due!

For some reason I’ve been paying for a data overage this month. When I haven’t been using more data intentionally. I checked what was using cellular data and there was the Apple store app at 1.1GB?????? How TF is AppleStore using 1 GB of my data? I used AppleStore exactly once 3 weeks ago and then never opened it again. And I used it on wifi!!
The only thing that I can think of is it is sharing constant customer data with Apple or it’s downloading its entire database and updating images while on cellular. Neither of which should be happening and both of which come with a resultant battery usage due to the electrical cost of transmitting that much data.
Regardless I am disappointed that my iPhone doesn’t have the ability to look at my data usage to determine how AppleStore caused this. All I can see is it’s total data.
Why can’t I look at my data usage like my battery usage??? All the same data is being collected. Whatever I’m getting off topic.
I am uninstalling AppleStore and likely never to download it again. Which is frustrating because aside from this MAJOR FLAW it’s a great app.

If you buy an item and there is an option to have it shipped within 2 hours, I would suggest calling first before purchasing and selecting that method and make sure it’s available to your area.
I bought an Apple Watch today on the Apple Store app to give as a Christmas gift and noticed a free 2 hour delivery option. Thought it was an awesome option in order to avoid driving to the mall and all the traffic. I choose to have it delivered in 2 hours. I used the funds in my Apple Cash to pay for it. One hour later, my order was cancelled. It showed no reason so I had to make a few calls and waited for several minutes.
Sales Dept finally helped me and told me I don’t live in an area where the 2 hour shipping is available. Bummer. Plus, they already charged me and took out my funds!! They said the funds will be returned within 5-8 business days. WTH!!! That’s the money I need to buy the gift for Christmas. Had to use my CC that I really didn’t want to use.
So if you only have enough money to buy that specific item and don’t have any other funds, call first if you decide to choose the free 2 hour shipping and make sure the service is available in your area. Otherwise, you’ll be screwed out of that money for a few days and no gift to give.

When I am trying to decide if I want to download an app update I am not interested in reviews from 2 years ago, I just want to know what the current reviews reveal about the update. Does that make sense?
The Apple software developers need some guidance.
I go to open the "Apple Store App" on my iPad Air 2 and it says there is an update. I click the button, AppleStore has already been updated on my iPad and reads "OPEN" in AppleStore Store. The is the beginning of an endless loop between AppleStore and AppleStore Store. Nice work people. So I have to use the Apple web portal anyway. Duh?

I was trying to filter to see the new watch - stainless steel options. Apparently this is not possible, instead it wants me to filter by my devices? It was frustrating to narrow down that I just gave up. I really don't see the value in overwhelming the customer with a massive result set.
Updated- nvm I guess when I searched for these it gave me a different result set that choosing from product menu. I also did not know there was no gps only stainless steel watch which stinks.

It’s literally impossible to pay with a gift card with Apple Pay workflow. It’s only available via the other payment forms flow and it’s super annoying to go through the process of adding everything to Apple Pay and then not be able to buy something properly because you don’t have the physical card at hand to input manually only cuz you are paying part of something with a gift card. Ran into this issue now 3-4 times

I’m only writing this here because I cannot find a place to make suggestions for the Apple Store app. I’d like to suggest that you add the capability that when you sign in with your Apple ID, that you can link the military site to it so people that have verified their credentials can shop that site via AppleStore verses opening a browser window in safari or firefox. Other than that. It’s a great app.

First, this is a review about the Apple Store App, not the Apple Store, AppleStore Store, your phone carrier, etc. I’ve pre-ordered through AppleStore , scheduled pick ups through AppleStore , plus you can shop around just as well as going to the website. As for Apple‘s service, in general, I have had their employees bend over backwards to help me out. AppleStore is great, what happens after using AppleStore is another issue.

I love the Apple Store app. It’s so convenient and simple. It’s very stylish and engaging. Making purchases is so simple and I love that I can use Apple Pay. You can learn about the product you are purchasing directly from AppleStore . I love that I can track my orders right from AppleStore . The only thing I would like to see is that if I want to use two credit cards to make a purchase on AppleStore I can do so.

Basically you can customize every reasonably modern apple product for the lowest to the highest prices, you can customize an imac all the way from $800+
dollars al the way to $10,000+ and you can customize in every way possible. Its something you cant get from the actual store. Its also very good for people who are middle class lower class and rich. It is all fully customizable

I have had AppleStore for some time now and find it exceptionally useful. I especially like being able to simply check in and pay with Apple Pay. I also like being able to scan merchandise at the store and pay for it and walk out. I simply flash the email receipt that Apple sends right away as I pass the security at the door.

AppleStore reviews for AppleStore are very one sided. I find a lot of people complain more than review.
AppleStore it self is really well written and designed. I like its ability to let me ring out for anything on the shelf. Cases, cables, and EarPods and such. I ordered an iPad on AppleStore and asked for a personal delivery in the store. They walked right up, handed my my iPad after checking my ID and away I went.
