To the people who are giving IKEAStore 3 stars or lower because “Oh, it’s meant for shopping in store, Oh, what does collect mean?” Please. Please for the first and last time, read the description!

It is super easy to notice that it is for shopping in store. To everyone asking what does collect mean: IKEAStore is an in store app, right? Yes. It’s like a shopping list of everything that’s available in your local ikea. Once you view an item you might want to purchase, it tells you if it’s available in your ikea. Once you have all the available items you want on your list, go to ikea! (Pretty simple, right?) once you have a physical item in your physical cart, press collect! That means you have collected the item and it is in your hands. It’s like your going shopping with a list, and once you get something like bananas, you cross bananas off the list! IKEAStore crosses it off for you once you press collect. You’re welcome!

Okay first, if you’re complaint is that IKEAStore only works for shopping in-store and not online, TRY READING IKEAStore NAME AND DESCRIPTION. it’s pretty clear about what it does... it clearly states it makes IN STORE shopping easier.

Second, if you’re complaining about having to still wander aimlessly thru the store to get your items- that’s not the fault of IKEAStore , either your store location doesn’t have a shortcut to the marketplace (which every one I’ve ever been to... several across 3 states) has had, or you’re new to Ikea and don’t know how to take the shortcut. Also NOT IKEAStore ’s fault. Plus, walking through the store and looking at everything is part of the fun. Who goes to Ikea to just be in an out? Not me! It’s always a fun day trip for our family.

A lot of te reviews I’ve read are just from people who don’t understand how apps and IKEA is. One review said it was bad because items had “random names”. Yea it’s a Swedish company they aren’t going to change everything for English speakers and IKEAStore is catered to whatever store is closest to you so that stuff ships quickly. Another person said that the things in their cart would disappear after a day like what do you expect? The store isn’t going to hold an item for you for more than a day because they have limited stock like just buy it if you need it then. A lot of these reviews are from lazy people. IKEAStore is great for me so I don’t understand why everyone else is upset over little stuff.

There is no search function!!! If you've ever been to an IKEA you know their product selection is in Normas to say the least. However I know they have shelves because my wife has a bunch of them I'd like to think I can find them on IKEAStore so I can select a link for her no way! There is no search function to look for wall shelves they have it organized and I've been through every product Division they have listed in IKEAStore and could not find these shelves!

My daughter bought a loft bed that was delivered damaged to her home. She has tried repeatedly to get Ikea to pick it up with no success. She cannot get a refund until they pick it up if they ever do. Ikea told her she is responsible to call them when it is picked up and it takes a good hour to even talk to anyone at Ikea when she does call if she can even get through at all. She has been promised at least 4-6 times that they were coming to get it and my husband and myself have waited each time for them to come. Ikea should pay us just for all the time and frustration this has caused us. I have encouraged her to contact a local tv station if this is not resolved soon. She has quite a trail of phone calls and broken promises. She wants the boxes out of her garage and her refund. This does not seem like too much to ask.

IKEAStore has no instruction on how it works. I went to some store clerks in Jacksonville and asked them what "Collected" meant (after you've added an item to a list, your only further options are to remove it or "collect" it. Neither of the clerks knew what it meant to "collect" an item in IKEAStore .

Also, unlike other similar apps from other warehouse stores, this one offers no help on locating an item in the store. Add that to the maze Ikea crates in their store that forces you to walk aimlessly among the items they want to sell you, and you are going to spend a long time in the store looking for your specific item. Perhaps that's by design, but it's very inconvenient.

Other than to show you the size of the packaging and alert you to whether the item is in stock, IKEAStore is pretty much useless.

IKEAStore is horrible. It doesn’t have the shopper in mind. When I think app I think convenience. The closest Ikea to me is an hour away and at this point it would be more simple to drive to the store. I don’t understand why in the product listings there isn’t an all options. Also each product has a foreign name given to it rather than just a general name for it which would make it more easier. The organization is poor. Also why can’t I purchase from IKEAStore ? Why do I have to buy products individually instead of loading a cart and buying them all at the same time? To me it is hard to wrap my mind around companies who have the funding to make decent apps and don’t. How does a company focused on marketing poorly design their app? Get it together. 🤦🏽‍♂️

I've used IKEAStore in the past and it has been very convenient. However, yesterday I was in the Montreal Ikea and when I opened it, it had Ottawa set as the store. When I went to change the store it only listed about 5 stores in the whole country and searching for Montreal brought up nothing. I deleted and reinstalled, and was finally able to select Montreal in the startup screen (although it first suggested another store even though I was inside the Montreal one!) Now I'm back home and the problem has reoccurred, it set the store to Boucherville even though Montreal is closer, and Montreal is not on the list when I try to change stores. This time deleting and reinstalling didn't work. Please fix!

I got IKEAStore about a month ago, and it has worked perfectly ever since. A few days ago, however, I noticed that all the different items I had saved were gone. I re-saved the items, but IKEAStore deleted them again the next day. I don’t know if I did something wrong, or if it’s just IKEAStore , but it would be convenient if IKEA could fix this, so I don’t have to re-save 70 different things every time I open IKEAStore . Overall a wonderful application, and so far I am happy with it, besides the mysteriously disappearing saved items.

First of all IKEAStore is just for stores, it does not allow you to order on line! I do not know how they are in stores but do not order on line if you want your stuff to get to you in the next few months cause that’s how long you will wait!!! They give you a date of delivery which does not happen and when you try to find out when your order will come they either don’t pick up for an hour or the circuits are busy. After holding for hours if you even get someone they will not know anything and will give you delivery company number who will not know anything either and refer you back to Ikea who in turn will not answer the next time!!! Unbelievable!!! Never again!!!

I added a bunch of items to my list (while properly logged in to my account) but when I got to the store, all those items disappeared from my list! I had gotten multiple server issue notifications when I was adding the items (actually I get that notification every time I add something to my list) but I didn’t think it would erase the whole thing. While I was in the store I could add items to my list and they stayed, but I lost a bunch of product info so I wound up not buying everything I needed. Really annoying. It’s a shame cause I actually like ikea’s products a lot. It just made my shopping experience completely irritating.

I am very frustrated at IKEAStore. . . don’t get me wrong IKEA furniture is amazing, but I’m stuck in a loophole of trying to reset my password.

I had them send an email to me. It was all going smoothly until I tried to make a new password it told me to put in my temporary password (the one they sent in the email) as well as my new password. I typed the temp password in with no flaws and even copied and pasted it a few times AND IT WOULD NOT WORK. Then finally, I tried to reset it again and now my account is shut down due to too many attempts logging in.

PLEASE FIX THIS IKEA!!! I BEG YOU!

I’ve had IKEAStore a couple of times now (pretty sure I deleted bc of this same issue last time). It works fine at first but after about a week, I went to browse my shopping list and IKEAStore had logged me out. Fine. No big deal, just log back in, right? Wrong! It kept saying my password was wrong. I kept retrying until I got locked out and was forced to reset on the website. Go through that process only to go back to IKEAStore and log in only to be told my password is wrong! Do yourself a favor and just add the website to your home page as a link (you can do this is Safari on iPhone, not sure about Androids).

IKEAStore is great for just creating a shopping list and browsing products that ikea has available. What’s annoying is when I don’t have time to drive over an hour to my closest ikea and want to just buy online, you can’t buy from IKEAStore ?? What the heck??! Wouldn’t it be a greater use of the interface to allow people to purchase directly through IKEAStore ? Definitely awaiting that update.

Also, thank you developers for keeping my ikea card in IKEAStore too! I never remember to bring the physical card.

In October 2017 I had IKEAStore and was so annoyed with how slow it was, didn’t load products or would randomly quit. With the updates, a lot of the annoying issues previously mentioned are gone. IKEAStore redesign is a little more user friendly which helps a lot when planning your ikea trip. There is still room for improvement, my app sometimes closes when I click on an item located in the wishlist section.
