Get Pricing Info for ChargePointVery unhappy experience. I bought my 2023 Nissan Leaf March 30. Several trips to the airport using about 70 miles. Rainy cold weather the night before I was leaving for a Hawaii business trip used 124 miles of charge, leaving me with 90 charge miles. I arrived back at SEATAC at 1am in the morning, with an 11am appointment later that day. Should have been easy as I only needed 30-40 miles. Up at 7:30am There is NO signage to let me know that there is a charging station in the Wally Park garage at 18631 International Blvd. Customer service on the phone had a heavy accent and could not help me. International is a divided road, so u-turns were required to get to make another pass. At last I got in, and a tool booth person told me where the charging stations were located, again no signage. In the back far corner, I found the two CHAdeMO chargers. I provided my credit card, connected the correct charging gun, got a red light, but the stop charge light was lit so I presumed it was charging. About 5-8 minutes later I got an error code (3303?). I removed the gun, tried again. Twice on the fast charge, twice on the regular charge. Same error all four times. On hold for customer service. I was down to 83 miles. Insult to injury I was charged $12 for my partial hour in the Wally Park. And I had to cancel my 11am appointment. I drove home with the windows down to prevent fogging, wipers only when absolutely necessary, no heat, under 60 mph to arrive two miles from my house with a 1% emergency charge required. The Suquamish Shell and Mazi Shop had a Volta charger that was free. I learned a lot. Foremost, I will not try to use Charge Point again.

When ChargePoint works I cannot deny that it is a standard charging network and it does the job. Customer service on the other hand would get a -10! 1/5 stars will have to do though. I have translated the problem to them at least 30 times and I’ve spent countless hours on the phone trying to get it fixed, but still nothing. They expect me to play middle man between them and the office in my building even though I have told them what the problem is over and over. Eventually I had to start calling them and going through a 30 minute interrogation to start my charge remotely until one day some lady with an attitude said they would no longer be able to remotely start my charge and that I needed to speak to the office and have them fix it.. idiots! I’ve told you the problem 37 thousand times. You do your job and fix it. They never respond to emails either. 🥳

Update to previous review. This company has both the slowest and most incompetent customer service I’ve ever experienced. I had an issue with them then charging in bulk for my station use which they admitted was a mistake and offered to refund those charges. Two weeks later I was not refunded and sent them an email. They said they would take care of it in the next week. Today they refunded my account balance and moved my card to the ability to use free stations only as punishment it seems. For what, I’m not sure since I didn’t actually ask for the original refund, they offered it. I suppose I should be glad though as many other have had trouble with customer support ever responding and ever getting their account balances refunded. Avoid this app and these stations if at all possible because if you do have an issue you are unlikely to ever get it properly resolved.

Bought a car in California and had to drive it back home to Nevada. On my road trip I downloaded ChargePoint and it would never connect. Once I got home and was on Wi-Fi it’s still doing the same thing…will not connect. Luckily I had my work phone with me and was able to download it to that phone. Can’t figure out why it won’t connect. Also the first time I used ChargePoint to charge I had no issues. The second time I used it I had to go to three different machines and I just couldn’t get a connection…I just kept getting an error message. I finally called customer service because I saw a review on the station from another user that said they had to call customer service as well. Once I called customer service I was able to speak to somebody within a minute and they were super helpful and connected me to the charger.
