One thing to have ads, but ads that stop my music is too far.

I downloaded to see how well I might like RunningLogLite, but every time I add a run, an ad stops my music or pod cast. Fine have ads, make money, but I was going to try it for a week to see if I like it enough to upgrade to the ad free version. The ads that stop my music are just way too obtrusive to allow me to see how well I like it. Not good. Itโ€™s my device and I choose what I listen to and what sound it makes. I will not be buying the ad free version or continue to use the free version. Itโ€™s too distracting to continue.

Update is horrible

Update: they changed back to the manual input instead of the scrolling input. Thanks for that! Still don't like the calendar view. Prefer the previous version.

Loved RunningLogLite until the recent update! Calendar view is too small. Having to use the scroll to enter time and distance is horrible! Even though I have it set to miles, it keeps showing kilometers in the calendar. I have used RunningLogLite for over two years but with this update, I will be looking for a new running log!

Almost there

A few things would dramatically improve RunningLogLite. First, test it on iPhone 5. Data entry is very difficult because the dialog box is obscured by the keyboard. Put the the entry boxes at the top of the screen to eliminate this problem. Also I usually run outside so high contrast colors would be better for the sun. Another great addition woud be to tag a day as the day you got new sneakers. I like know how many miles are on my shoes when I am thinking of replacing them. I run with my dog, and I tag those days as "group run". It would be great to easily see how many group miles I have done

One Flaw

I have used RunningLogLite for 11 years and love almost everything about it.

The only flaw is that the weeks are 8 days long which makes no sense and makes it useless for looking at weekly mileage. I know I can still figure it out, but it serves no purpose. It should just be Sunday to Saturday or Monday to Sunday.

Otherwise it is simple but very well done.

Almost there

RunningLogLite is great for recording overall mileage from a particular workout. It even gives you a โ€˜notesโ€™ section so you can write feedback from your run. The one thing I would change is that thereโ€™s no feature to write in your overall workout duration, only your run duration. Iโ€™d like the ability to track more information.

Needs one improvement

I enjoy RunningLogLite and Iโ€™ve been using it for years. Thereโ€™s only one thing I dislike - it needs a better way to look back at previous years. You can only look back by scrolling one month at a time. It needs a way to jump back to view previous years by years.

Works Great for a Free App

For a free tracker app, it works great. However, the ad pop ups during entries and immediately upon opening RunningLogLite is frustrating to me. Iโ€™ve been using RunningLogLite since 2018 and I really donโ€™t need anything additional to keep track of my weekly, monthly and annual miles. Overall, I think itโ€™s a great app for your basic records.

Great way to track my training runs and weekly miles

Like RunningLogLite for the most part. I have the free version. While my Garmin also tracks my miles, I like this because it allows me to study my weekly mileage and average space in an easy to read graph. My only complaint is that it doesnโ€™t let me record when I do multiple runs in one day for training separately, I have to average them together

Just 1 Problem!!!

RunningLogLite is really great but there's just one problem! My running weeks start on MONDAYS not SUNDAYS. Please have an option to change the day that the week starts, because when my coach or someone else asks "how many miles did you get in this week?", I have to subtract the Sunday mileage and add the next Sunday's mileage. I realize there hasn't been an update for over a year, but hopefully an update will come! Thank you very much.

Really like this app!

This is the first app Iโ€™ve found in which it has a calendar that tags the days youโ€™ve been active to give you an overall view. Iโ€™ve been looking for a long time but I finally found one. Also, I like how it gives you the different input options. When I think about my training, thatโ€™s the information I want to look back at.

I would also suggest giving an input option on when you start a new pair of trainers and then track how many miles they go until getting a new pair.

Overall I really like RunningLogLite!

Great manual tracking app!

This is a fantastic app! Iโ€™ve used it to track all of my runs in 2020 through now. It allows for a single source to record all runs. I just transfer the route times from my GPS Watch as well as everything before then. Plus you can email these out to yourself as an excel spreadsheet! Super cool. I canโ€™t recommend enough. Get it and use it! Thanks

Great App!! Use it to log every run.

One of my main exercise Apps. I have used it for 10 years+/- to log all of my runs. Yes I can get information from my Garmin but with this I can log notes on how I feel, weather, course conditions, etc., but also there is some very satisfying about marking down your progress. You can export the data into Excel.

Best Casual App Iโ€™ve found

I just wanted an app that I can record time and distance myself without just making a spreadsheet, but all over running apps I used seemed to want to do too much. The free version of RunningLogLite though is perfect for wanting to just record your runs and even includes effort levels, can add notes, see weekly/monthly averages, and other simple things that are perfect for someone who knows their own training plan, or doesnโ€™t use one, to record actual runs and evaluate results later.

Running Log

I find it is the best way to keep track of my excise and running. I would tell people and my family and friends to use it. I would like to find away to transfer from my iPhone to my new IPad To keep both updtated. So they match.. Is their away or a newer running log in RunningLogLite Store .

Great for Tracking Runs

I like being able to easily look at the calendar to see the basic information of when I ran last, what distance, and what my time was. You can also add detail about the conditions of the run and even your effort level that day.

Best non social media app to track running

I have been using RunningLogLite for over ten years. A little less consistent with using it in the past years after having a baby but it is my favorite non social media app. The data is just for you and I love the way that it is organized as a calendar view so you can more easily identify patterns in your training.

Nice Running Overview

Found app via Google search. Installed, added some data, and really liked the overview of the month, especially the monthly pace. Nice color coded days.

Someone mentioned that the ads were annoying...these folks need some type of reimbursement for their time and effort. Plan on buying the ad free version as a "thank you" to the developers. I hope they implement the latest suggestions in the comment section. ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿพ โœŒ๐Ÿพ

Helpful App

I am a new runner and am enjoying a place where I can easily log runs and see a nice summary of each run, weekly, monthly and probably yearly when I hit that mark!

Iโ€™ve been using RunningLogLite for several months now, super easy to use to keep track of distance and pace. Itโ€™s nice to see my progress easily in one place!

Manual Running Log ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

I like this program, which I have been using for 2+ years. It gives me a quick snap shot of what days each week I worked out in a glance. If I do speed work / weights I write my workout in the notes. Then I can go back and do it again in the future, which I have definitely done before.

Review

I have only been using RunningLogLite for a few days, so I will come back and update you in a few weeks. However, it has been a great addition to my runs and has already shown me a few of my weak spots by allowing me to reflect right after a run. Also, I can't lose these notes.
