Tried to use the App for the first time. It behaved weirdly when I tried to take the required selfie (the iPhone volume started to change. Then I got an alert message about suspicious network traffic.

This app sucks, what a waste of business
Can't log into Zipcar on my computer or phone. On my PC I keep getting this message: The page isn’t redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This browser session has expired. Please refresh the page and try again. On my phone: Invalid credentials, password and username. This just started today when I tried to upload a gas receipt from a rental with no gas card.
Keep telling « something went wrong » when I hit the booking button
So the app has not been working for over 5 months. To book a car I have to go through customer service everytime, repeating security information, then explaining why, then escalating problem and after 5 months still doing the same, while I’m writing this I’m On the phone to zip car and after holding for over 5 mins the line just disconnected and I’m paying a monthly fee for this!!! ??? Really. Over 40 escalations. I am absolutely sick of the incompetence of this company. I also have to walk far just to find a car that I can open only with my Zip card. So I’m also getting the worst of the vehicles and suffering to find one in short walking distance. Really had enough! This is how they treat loyal customers.
I cannot login to my account. I have booked and paid for a reservation on July 10 in Fulham Riverside but I am not confident that I will be able to open the car without a working app. I may have to cancel my reservation and book a car with Budget or Enterprise.
It doesn't let you book any car. Keeps saying 'Something went wrong' or 'you're not allowed to perform this action'. Tried mobile app as well as computer.
I'm having payment issues....keeps telling me to update my payment info, check card info, log out then log back in. Called customer support and they just aren't helpful. They know it's an issue and to hear that this has been going on for months and it's still not fixed is a problem.
The app has not worked for 2 months and my membership hasn’t been able to be used. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app with no luck? Is their a known issue? If it’s not working, I would like a refund of my annual fee. Thanks, Katie
I have had the same problem as Benjamin. Back in January 2022 I had to reset my iPhone and reinstall the app. Since then, the app has been unable to unlock vehicles. It simply crashes and returns to the log in screen. I am only able to use vehicles which are unlockable via Zipcard, and is impossible to tell which vehicles have this function from the app. I have raised the issue with Zipcar and they told me that their developers were working on the issue. They have failed to give any indication of a timeframe or propose any other remedy. I am left virtually unable to use the service.
The app keeps crashing when booking a flex vehicle. I'm a regular zip car user but over six weeks ago I was unable to unlock a vehicle using the app. Have done absolutely everything possible and have spoken to the team on numerous occasions regarding this problem and still nothing has been done. I find it hard to believe such a large organisation is unable unwilling to sort this out. If I could I would choose not to use and deal with zip car ever again. My iphone is new. I have reinstalled the zipcar app about a dozen times. I have changed my login password. I have tried different payment methods, each time having to approve the new payment using online banking, have called the team to discuss and follow the same instructions over and over again. I have used a desktop PC to make a booking but that doesn't fix the problem using the app.
