I used this product previously and recently downloaded it again for another project that I’m working on. I paid for the year upgraded service and went to do an invoice for a client and something went wrong. There is no phone number to call and I really need to talk to someone as soon as possible. I had tried to email support and it took a week for someone to get back to me and what they sent was a templated response that didn’t answer my question and wrote back again and asked for a customer service phone number and no response. Very frustrating.

This is a quality app, allows you to juggle multiple clients and multiple projects. Tracking is well noted, very customizable. I'm was a little disappointed in the initial start up, but the help file is very useful in guiding through your first steps. I contacted the developer about a missing feature and received a personal email in hours responding to my request. Amazing. I think this program is currently solid, very useful and has a great deal of potential as well. It seems that the developer knows that and is genuinely interested in continuing its improvement. I'm an entertainment professional who does a great deal of contract work and despite the niche nature of my market, this program works great! For the price you can't do any better.

Buy this app if you're a mobile professional who needs an easy-to-use client-time tracking and invoicing system.

I've used several time & billing products over the years. Typically they're missing a key function (time vs billing) or feature (no way to track payments against invoices). As a result, I'm a very demanding customer and this app is very good (even if not perfect).

this app has all that one needs to start quickly tracking and invoicing clients: project-segmented time tracking; invoicing across projects; contact-connected clients; project-level billing segments (ie: on what basis does one project get tracked versus the others); even the ability to export directly to your computer via a built-in webserver. In addition, it contains many advanced features (such as the ability to apply current and pre-payments to any invoice).

Any application, though, is more than itself. It is also it's update frequency and the support you get from its developers. this app is improving consistently through Sorth's exceptional responsiveness and adding features with each new release. In fact, I asked for two new features today and Sorth responded that they were already in the next version, which was close to submission. With these new additions, this app will earn its fifth star.

Thanks for Timewerks ! I'm a busy accountant on the go and I often times can't remember how long I was onsite (let alone billing rates and invoice numbers). This provided a simple way for me to track and bill for my time. The interface is intuitive and easy to use and auto populates the date. Notes are easy to add and appear on the invoice for client reference. The invoice that is emailed is a little plain, but it gets the job done (and has decreased the time it takes for me to get paid). It's great to be able to track if the invoices have been paid or not too. My only request is to be able to pick an invoice number to start from. I was a little disappointed when I emailed my first invoice and it was "#2". I use a four digit number that I would like to be able to continue from. I highly recommend Timewerks for anyone who needs to track and bill time!

I spent about an hour trying to decide which app I would buy to keep track of the hours I spend building websites for clients, and I decided on this one. It is amazing. It allows you to not only keep track of hours spent on certain tasks that you can set different price points for, but it allows you to put in fixed fee items as well, AND best of all, this app puts it all in a mini invoice that you can email to your client on the spot when they want to know where they are currently at with their account balance.

Worth every penny and I recommend it to everyone! In the next update I hope to see an option to import your own invoice template.

I just picked this up and have spent the last hour learning how to use it. I found it does all I need to bill my clintes in the field.

There are 2 points I am having issues with. The first is the date on the printed invoice only reflects the date I created the invoice not the date I want. I.e. I will do the work tomorrow and want the invoice to show that date. However I have time today to create the invoice. Is there a way to edit the posted invoice date.

This brings me to my 2nd issue. Is there a way to edit a posted or saved invoice? I have created several invoices and wanted to make changes to them after they were saved but have not found the answer short of deleting and re-creating.

I just had the most incredible experience with Sorth tech support. I had a problem with my phone and had to restore it. I had made a backup of it but forgot to backup timeworks. I was, however able to extract the file that held my data from the backup. I emailed sorth support and asked if there was anything I could do with the file I acquired. They allowed me to beta test a new feature that will hopefully be available in July that allowed me to go to the sorth website, log into my account and upload the file I acquired to my account. Then all I had to do was go into timeworks, and hit restore and voilà, the data was restored. It saved my business. Very great job. Can't wait to see the new feature in full action.

This is an update to my last review. I've emailed this app with questions and suggestions and they've responded right away. Great customer support! This does mostly what I need a time/billing app to do, and is pretty easy to use. Here are a couple of things I wish they would address in their next update: The export feature doesn't give me all the info I really want, i.e., a breakdown of the hours I worked for each client by date so that I can keep a record on my home computer of the days and hours I've worked. I'd also like to be able to disable the ending date when entering time, since I do my work on a daily basis. I'd also like to see a total of all of my clients/billing hours on one list. Otherwise, Timewerks is nicely designed.

I've been using this app for more than a year now & my business functions at higher efficiency because of it. I'm a contractor with a number of clients with differing rates & terms. Timewerks keeps me up to date and prepared to bill.

When Apple advised me to restore my iPod Touch's software to correct an auditory glitch, I was afraid I'd lose my data. I contacted Sorth by email & got a quick response (I had already figured out the solution, but it was nice having confirmation). I was easily able to back up all of my data to their secure servers. I then executed the system restore, reconfigured my Touch, opened Timewerks , signed in, restored from the backup and I was back in business in minutes.

An application that keeps you productive is valuable; an app that's backed with great features and responsive support is INVALUABLE. this app is an invaluable app!

I'm a long time user of this app and decided I should share my experience using this great app.
Timewerks will pay for itself with your first more accurately time tracked invoice. I love using this because I can do everything in the field instead of going back to the office to do my billing after I finish my already long day. In fact when on a consult, I often send the invoice from my car in my client's parking lot. This gets me paid quicker, as I might procrastinate for a few days if I have to do it on the computer when I get back.
I use it on development projects as well. I've made it a habit to start the timer whenever I sit down to work on any project. If I am billing the customer a flat rate, this helps me keep my time in perspective. If I exceed my estimate, I can see where, and compensate on the next project.

Simply put, it's a great product, worth twice the price.

I began using this app when I formed a consulting firm. I needed an app to track hours so that I could accurately invoice clients. After 15 years I still use Timewerks and have never had a client question where I spent my hours as everything is detailed. All of my invoices are on the cloud I don’t usually accessed. The ability to keep track of hours and then in a matter of minutes create and send an invoice is one of the strongest features of Timewerks.

So let me start by saying I got Timewerks back in 2010. I’m a handyman so basically I use this application every day. I’ve never ever had
one issue with Timewerks until four days ago
when Apple rolled out iOS 11 and when I
went to email an invoice to a client I realize I couldn’t. I was to say the least devastated
but I found an email address in the help
section of Timewerks and let this app know
about the issue. Within a couple days of communications with Stephan we were able to figure out what the problem was and within three days an update was waiting for me at Timewerks Store. That’s what I call the epitome of customer service!
If you’re even remotely considering Timewerks I can say without hesitation buy it. It would be a steal for twice the price!!

I have been using this invoicing app for years, it is, by far, the best time billing app out there.

So many other apps, but I keep coming back to the focused, functional, simplicity.

I’ve used this to manage my LLC for 8 years now. Solid tool and when I’ve had a question, great customer support. Has made invoicing and hour tracking a breeze.

Easy to enter time immediately and then generate monthly customized invoices. Also keeps an online backup.

App is much appreciated as it makes business life easier.

I’ve been using this app for many years to efficiently bill my clients before I even drive away, invoice, send by email and the bill is in their hands in 10 seconds. It’s simple too. Not a bloated pig with features you never use. This thing takes care of business.

I have been using Timewerks for at least 3 years and it works great. I can easily keep track of hours and materials purchased. When i need to bill there is a professional pdf invoice i can email or print out for the customer. Great for record keeping at end of year with the ability to upload key data for accounting purposes. Everything always works. Nice app
