So, when I had literally all money stolen and everything else I worked so hard for, this game totally became unfun. I deleted it right away. You deserve this one star. What I way to discourage people that put time into your game. Shouldn’t even be a feature.

It gets 2 stars right now. Would be 5 if I could stay in the game without getting kicked out every few min if that. Fun game though wish it would work better

Once I downloaded and started use it EpicWar , the game was totally different than advertised and it’s not even well put together at that.

Lots of bugs and crashes. Prizes are often calculated incorrectly. Customer service is dishonest about giving compensation.

My home router has inbuilt internet security and EpicWar got blocked by the internet security as a potential threat.

Advertising LIE. This is advertised as a puzzle game. It’s a war game. Here is another game that’s lying about what it is.

The game is advertised as a logic puzzle game. However most of the game has been an rpg type game. I say most because during the first 15 minutes of having this game, you get a couple of puzzles then you have to fight, train, and upragde units. YOU HAVE TO; THERE IS NO WAY TO STOP IT. You can’t even open the settings to turn off the sound.

Such a terrible game. The advertisement made it seem like a fun game where I would be solving puzzles. however, yet again, you guys got me with your manipulative advertising where 2% of the gameplay was all it showed in the advertisement. If you guys are looking for a puzzle game, this is not it. It’s just another subpar knock off Farmville.

The advertisements for this game on Facebook does NOT show anything about this being some kind of war/conquer quest type of game. It only shows mind games to move screws and clear a certain pattern.

This is primarily an auto-battle style game, not a puzzle game as advertised. I downloaded this expecting a puzzle game based on the ads and the screenshots on EpicWar Store page.

Seen an ad and downloaded it. At start up it says exit and restart every time. I never got to play. Waste of time

I thought this was going to be a fun mind puzzle game instead it’s bait for a war battle game. Don’t download it you’re looking for a puzzle game.

Tried to play and the AI kept giving me errors I already deleted and redownloaded and it wouldn’t work

I saw the ads and wanted to play the screw puzzle game. You play a few rounds of that and then it’s a fantasy conquest game. Total crap!

For starters I turn sound off on everything. Not an option on this. You have to listen to it all the time. Second I got to play about 5-6 puzzles then went to some stupid automated war game that I could care less about. All I wanted was the puzzles and I wasn’t getting any more and was sick of the noise. Had the game about 10 min at best and deleted it. I’m sick of previews of games that are nothing what they appear. If I paid anything I’m going to be furious and want a refund. False advertisement is what the game is!!!!

Advertised as a game of just unlocking screws, never saw the war in the ad on Facebook. Uninstalling because after 3-4 screw unlocks it won’t let me continue without having to do the war, wanted just a simple game…. Next time ADVERTISE THE WHOLE GAME

The puzzles in ad and description are only about 1/4 of the game. They show nothing of the conquests and other junk included in the game. If I’d known it was a conquest and hero game I never would’ve down loaded it, that’s not the type of game I was looking for. Those kinds of games are ok for some people but you need to advertise truthfully

Downloaded game just because I wanted to see the epic battle you are forced to play lol. Negative reviews are spot on. Played for maybe 2 minutes then deleted. It’s literally a screw game with 5 levels then a horrible remake of art of war game. Idk how they aren’t getting sued from everyone lol.

As others said, thought this was a puzzle game but I was wrong. The 1st few levels were as advertised but then goes into some shoot em up game. Seems to have no strategy at all. Guessing it’s building up to charge for something? Just deleted it and will move on.

This is actual spyware. When I tried starting it I denied letting it track me and instantly my security monitoring sent me a notification it was trying to send my data to a malicious third party site. The game then wouldn’t even start without allowing it to track me so deleted it. DO NOT PLAY THIS!

Came off as a game where you just solve the screw puzzle and as you progress the challenge is suppose to get harder. But seems to me the game is more about an annoying war that you can’t skip. Deleted the game forsure.

Download Screw Puzzle Instead. Advertised as a strategy puzzle game. It’s not. It’s a battle war game. Why not make the game as you advertised it? Why spend money advertising for a puzzle game only to have people then write a bad review. You’re wasting your money and my time.

I’m tired of downloading games that either don’t have anything to do with the game you downloaded or is hiding some other game. Like this one, i just wanted to do the puzzles, not play a battle game. Such a waste of my time.

I was hoping for a straight forward puzzle game. The puzzles seem like they would be fun. Their is combat missions you have to complete between puzzles and I have no interest there, I have games I like for that.

Makes you play a battle game with no way to go back to the puzzle game don’t advertise as a puzzle game if you only get like 4 mins of puzzle then are forced to play a boring battle game

I love the game, but it keeps crashing and kicking me off and having to restart outside of that. I absolutely enjoy the game.

A lot of bugs keep logging me out, kicking me out, didn't even let me delete my account. Very time-consuming if you are free and have nothing to do with your life totally recommend this game but even still you have to spend money.

As soon as I start the game, it tells me that I need it needs to be updated. Then it tells me that login unsuccessful and to exit and restart so I did that then I got back in. It told me to exit and restart again. This game is just a waste of time please don’t download.

This is not a game about screws and plates at all. It’s in there but only barely. Fun tho.

All the ads show the screw puzzles. There is NO mention of the crappy war game between the 5 puzzles that you get to do. I mcao sick of these ads showing only a part but not the PRIMARY part of the game!!! It’s a good thing I didn’t pay anything!

The game is advertised as a screws unlock puzzle game. Where did this whole idle war thing come in and why is it mandatory? It’s literally two totally separate games that are forcefully merged into one. It’s weird. If you wanted to sell customers on a game, sell those as separate games or advertise that it’s actually an idle ear game masked and flaked in with that screws puzzle that is in the ads.

I was playing and was going to buy a 99 cent purchase to get some cool swag in the game but instead the game tried to charge me $125!!! That’s insane now my Apple account is locked because you guys tried to charge me an outrageous amount. I deleted EpicWar not worth them scamming me.

I downloaded this for, and EpicWar icon even shows, the puzzle aspect. The game suddenly changes into a battle game after completing a few intro rounds. I’m just so confused? Even the ads show a completely different game.

You play the advertised game where you box in a robber 5 times, then everything completely switches and it’s really stupid. I just want to play the simple game that was advertised. Not to mention there have already been a couple 200 MByte to this game in just a few days. Garbage app. Deleting it

I’ve tried to play this game twice through two separate download attempts, weeks apart. It keeps crashing. After the latest attempt, I saw the game isn’t what’s advertised (a puzzle game), so I will not try downloading it again. Stop false advertising.

Okay I know it’s misleading, but it’s really just an idle game to play at the end of the day. Still kinda fun for someone who does not have a ton of time for commitment. Just plays when they have the time to on the run. This is just my opinion 🤷‍♂️

It was advertised as a teleporting game, not a war game. Others say it was advertised as a puzzle game. Should be reported and banned.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Our game is idle strategy game,there are so many interesting playing parts, that is a part of the game.
This is a huge lie as the entire graphics changed to closely mirror another game, Kingdom Guard. To clarify, it should be removed as it is false advertising with lies from the development team as evidenced above.

I really love this game, even though it was a little misleading to begin with. My only issue is now I can’t log in. I keep receiving an error stating “account login abnormality, please exit and restart”. I have closed EpicWar , restarted my phone and still have the error. I can’t even log the bug because I can’t even get past the loading screen.

Personally I just wanted to play the game that is advertised above. Didn’t really care to have the “war” style gameplay which is never featured in the reels or commercials. I had stopped playing when I realized it was really a teleport game as much as it was a war game with some teleport ninja added some of the times.

Only half of the game is shown in the pictures. There’s another half of the game in which I don’t really care for and didn’t even get past the tutorial. It’s some kind of automated battle kind of thing. Not really what I was looking for.

I can’t clear the notification in the tutorial after I have viewed it.

Really fun, but all the tutorials and how long they take is just annoying, it’s a mobile game not a math problem. I don’t need to know how to click the screen to do stuff when it says it on the screen.

The first 5 levels match the ads (as of Jan 2023 throwing a weapon and then teleporting up to it, it seems the ads change every now and again), but then it becomes a real time top down strategy idle game. If you’re making that kind of game, just say that, don’t invent an interesting concept and refuse to actually use it.

In the adds on TikTok it shows Naruto fighting and that’s the only reason I got the game. Turns out that portion of the game is only a small aspect of the whole game and you don’t play as Naruto at all. Idk why these annoying developers are allowed to straight up lie about what there game is

I downloaded this game thinking that this was exactly like the previews. You can actually play the teleport, jump, kill game for maybe 3-4 levels then it changes into something entirely different. It was ok, but I kept playing thinking that maybe the game would have more game play as advertised. After several hours guess what? No more original game play. For that reason alone I deleted the game. If this game stuck to the original game, with some cool levels of teleporting and killing, it probably would have been a great game. The other game it turned into might have been good too, but why mislead everyone? Advertise that game not something that it is not! Integrity goes a long way for your audience.

You guys made a amazing game, however, you can’t advertise it like that, when you do that you attract a lot of players but basically all the players leave and leave bad reviews due to what the game actually is. Don’t just advertise the teleport run aspect, I spend so little time in that section sometimes I forget it’s even in the game, advertise it for the idle game that it is.

The game was on tiktok and looked fun but what was advertised on the ad wasn’t even the real game just some weird side event. And the real experience of the game is just like any other quickly created crappy looking game with the same concepts of a thousand other games out there. Honestly if the actually developers read this you should make a real version of what you have advertised and make it like a golf type game where you have a limited amount of throws to take out the enemies and make the levels longer.

Definitely not what I was hoping for. It’s probably a great game with all of the other stuff. For me I disliked everything about the game - but the portion that you’d want. Gave it three stars for the part that was expected. It lots of fun, got tired of running through the other stuff for a short piece of gameplay.

So I downloaded the game on my iPhone and. I have the nuts and bolts for my reinforcement option. I download the game on my other phone and it has the teleport and run. Why can’t I get the nuts and bolts option…?

The gameplay is only what was advertised for 4 minutes of gameplay. It then becomes a generic merge game where you combine characters or factions to create… other characters or factions to fight against generic hordes of generic enemies.

The gameplay is clunky, slow, and boring. The voice acting sounds like someone typed the dialogue into a text to speech generator and played it on a speaker three rooms away from where the dialogue was recorded. The character design is expressly sexist, every character is a woman in scanty clothes that refers to you as “commander,” for no reason (there’s no “lore,” the game just stars)

Overall, this is an awful game that was made to capitalize on people who play tik tok filter games. Awful.

It’s a cool game but the problem is I was expecting what the ad was presenting. The game has that feature on their sometimes but it should be either a separate game or at least a mini game. Thanks

The game is fine, However you only play the game for maybe 15 seconds and then have to sit through endless automation where you don’t do anything which is nauseating and boring. Sitting and clicking next is basically the same as watching ads. Would not recommend this for any reason.

The Ad, Icon picture and the pictures the game shows on the apps page is all different to how the game actually is. You are not trapping anybody or preventing someone from escaping. The so-called “developers” of this game respond to every critical review with the same botted message showing they don’t care one bit. I hate games like this.

Many pictures can be provided with messages from the devs/customer service refusing refunds after placing purchasable packs in game that could not be used. They also threaten to ban players for asking for refunds even for accidental purchases. They try to make changes and instead of listening to the players, they go above and beyond of ruining what good was left in a system before they change it. I would not recommend playing this game. I would not recommend spending any money in this game. I would recommend the game be investigated for fraudulent activity.

If the developers would stop putting out false adds they’d get fewer players as its a generic bait and switch style gameplay. Also while you play the part of the game that is why you clicked the ad there is no way to mute there very loud horrible music and poorly added voice lines.
They should stop apologizing to all the reviews about the bait and switch gameplay ads and just make the puzzle game everyone wants to play. Or stop advertising all together as they clearly don’t care about the player base and are just another pay to win gotcha game.

The game is in a language I don’t understand and it do not let us change. We keep doing tutorials without a clue about what they are talking about. And it don’t let us do anything else than click in the blinking hand of the tutorial. I don’t know if we can change the language later, but, then, the tutorial will be done. It would be awful to spend a lot of time playing in other language, then change and play again in English, or in our native language

After downloading EpicWar just keeps saying “abnormality during log in” and won’t actually load the game. After looking at reviews I discovered that the thumbnail showing the goblin catch is not actually the game. It’s just a piece of the game. Not worth the download. Same as garden scapes and those other games that advertise fun puzzles but that’s not actually what you play.

I was able to play what I initially downloaded the game for in the first 4-5 levels. Then it turned into something else. I thought maybe it was some sort of side quest and would eventually go back or have the option to leave. Nope. So I came to the reviews to see if anyone else was confused and they were. Game deleted.

I downloaded the game through an Instagram ad, thinking it would be a fun little puzzle game like it advertised (knew it wouldn’t be exactly like the ads, mobile games are never like the ads down to a tee, but sometimes they’re kinda close).

I played it, and the five opening levels are close to what’s advertised, move the guards to try not to let the bad guy get to the exit, then it becomes a typical medieval war mobile game, build your base and army to beat the opponent. I am not really into those games, kinda disappointed at what I got, but then again, I kinda expected it.

Once again, just another game whose developers are so insecure about that they make an ad that has nothing to do with the game. At least this time you get about four minutes of the advertised gameplay before it clumsily transitions to the real game that bears no resemblance whatsoever to the puzzle game shown in the ads. I’ll never understand why so many developers do this. It makes us all distrust their ads completely. If you want us to click your ads and then be interested in the game we find, then make it possible for us to know if your game is interesting by showing us what it really is.

This game is amazing, I love these type of games and your game is top notch. I do have to say though it is a bit of a click bait game as well.

You could have just posted the game itself and it would have flown off the shelf and that really is the only issue I see here.

That and the not able to cross servers, I’ve had a few friends want to play and we can’t play in the same server which kind of stinks.

The first 5 stages that last less than five minutes are the game you’re advertised. Everything after that is an idle clicker adventure game.

Rating it two stars because it actually has the briefest of openings where you play the game they advertise. But it definitely feels like a bait and switch.

Made an accidental purchase, couldn't find a way to resolve it via their "customer support" so I asked for a refund from Apple, explained the situation, and they gave me my refund. A month later I get a message in-game stating I need to pay back what was refunded or my account would be banned. I said it was an accident and that Apple refunded it, told them that nothing in this game is worth $50, they're out no money, so it seemed harsh that my account would be banned after one mistake, but they did it anyway. Avoid all these "pay to win" garbage games, they're a rip-off.

After enduring what felt like an endless barrage of 500 ads, I caved and thought, 'Fine, this looks kind of fun.' I was eager to dive into what I presumed would be a satisfying unscrew puzzle game. However, red flags started waving the moment I saw the title—'Epic Wars.'

I reluctantly clicked on it, expecting a straightforward unscrewing adventure. The tutorial seemed promising at first, but my hopes were swiftly dashed when a sexualized angel chimed in with bizarre commands. The whole framing device felt out of place for what was supposed to be a simple puzzle game.

The initial five levels provided nothing but a trifle, leaving me craving something more substantial. Then they said “Choose an over sexualized witch, brother!” and may I just reiterate, WEIRD FREAKING FRAMING DEVICE FOR AN UNSCREW PUZZLE GAME!

Then, to add insult to injury, the game abruptly shifted to a peculiar overhead army view. It was a blatant bait-and-switch tactic that left me feeling utterly duped.

Disgusted and disappointed, I promptly closed EpicWar , uninstalled it, and even went as far as to have a priest from a major denomination perform a rite on my phone—just to be safe.

What I had hoped would be a delightful unscrew game turned out to be a bizarre and nonsensical experience. In conclusion, Epic Wars is not worth your time or frustration.

I live in San Francisco. I earn good money. But I am an immigrant. I am frugal with my money. I am part of a clan, and I see some people spend $300 weekly on this game. I do not know how they afford it. I do not think they afford it. I think it is an addiction like casino where people play the slot machine. If you have an addictive personality and terrible money management. Please know yourself and don’t download this game. It will drain your wallet and you will go into debt. How some people pay $3,000 a month on this game, US DOLLARS, I will not understand. Imagine paying $3,000 to buy a game!!! And in their whole time playing this they would have spent over $20,000. Wow. Stay away.

I know I should learn my lesson by now, these developers are just scum bags who intentionally make misleading ads to catfish you so you’ll download the game. What I don’t get though is if y’all just made the screw game people would download and keep playing, we don’t need another boring “strategy” war game (which it isn’t, you just tap and the game plays itself). It’s like they get a kick out of reading all these bad reviews and comments knowing they tricked people into downloading a game they KNEW no one would want to play if they weren’t mislead. Disgusting. Wish there were more regulations about mobile game advertisement but hopefully someday so these kinds of apps won’t be a thing anymore.

Your advertising is just asking for bad reviews. It’s not a coincidence you don’t even mention the boring repetitive heavy monetized game you pair the puzzle game with that you have to sit through and torture yourself just to unlock more puzzles. Why not make them two separate games since they have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Oh wait it’s probably because nobody would play the other game. I’ve actually enjoyed this game. There are no ads and it’s entertaining. At first I did think it was something completely different but then I started playing and it was actually really fun! Give this game a try if you like games with no ads.

You advertise a part that you barely get to do I enjoy the puzzles a lot but not the fights it’s quite boring to me i enjoy useing my mind more then just sitting on my phone doing nothing but watching characters fight and having nothing to do most of the characters also seem to be from clash of clans which is interesting

The game that was advertised was the screw game but when u okay that u get 4 lvls of that and than it becomes a merge game. I don’t understand why don’t u js give the ppl what they want in ur ads and I understand that u can go back and do the the puzzles but u have to keep merging the stupid characters. All we want to do is play the puzzle we don’t care abt the stupid merging just give the ppl what u advertised.

First I'll address the false advertising. None of the puzzles shown on this page or in their ads are even in the game. Yes they have screw puzzles but they DO NOT have anything that was advertised.

If you like the game for things other than the puzzles, just know that all of that starts to break down too. They have a 3 day period to ramp up and spend money to compete in upcoming events. Then on day 4 when the events hit they all break and are unplayable.

Unplayability. I have run into multiple issues, including a "coming soon" event "finishing early" and making me unable to play the game because it was constantly loading.

This game is an unfinished mess that has false advertising and is set up in a way to encourage spending in the first 3 days before everything falls apart at the seams. It is a 100% scam and should be removed from the appstore entirely.

I can’t lie, this game is very very fun. If you like the feeling of being constantly rewarded this is the game for you! I’ve lost so many hours to this game and feel like I’m still discovering new things more and more each day. It’s like 5 games in one honestly, very hard to get bored! So like most of you, I came to this game because the puzzles shown on Insta, FB, and tik tok. Then you down load the game and it’s nothing like what was advertised.

If I wanted to pick characters and battle, I would find a game that did that. The developers know what they are advertising and they know it’s 100% not the actual game they have. So if I could I would give you zero stars. In stead I will simple avoid any games made by you.

Here is a novel idea, the puzzle is drawing people to your game, how about just make that the actual game??? Seems like a simple solution. If you don’t want to make that the game, then advertise the actual game you made instead of being deceptive!
