Unrealistic to complete whole process in less than “24 hours before departure)!!!
When traveling between multiple countries. the cost on roaming is very expensive! There was nothing ask on NZTD that could not been ask several days before cruise departure.

NZTD has been rubbish since release. It stalls, hangs and has an incredibly hard time connecting and submitting the declaration. You often get to the option to put your phone number and name and email in and then the Save button simply never works. Total garbage every time I have tried to use it.

I found that NZTD jumped back out of the declarations details page when attempting to paste my NZ contact address several times forcing me to re-enter information. I eventually got it to work by selecting the manual address entry option.

It is also a little disconcerting that a “profile” is created without any account credentials being collected.

Several senior citizens, including myself, really needed help to navigate through NZTD on a mobile device. If there was a specific path for Cruise ships (without street addresses included) this might ease some confusion.

You have to enter a lot of information in NZTD . Anytime you go to another app to look that info up (like your flight number, dates, etc) everything you just entered in that section disappears. So it’s pretty annoying to use.

NZTD is quite straightforward and easy to use. I appreciate being able to submit the information electronically in advance rather than rushing to fill out a paper form on arrival.

Biggest feedback: Anytime you switch app screens - which I had to do a couple times to look up flight info, contact info, etc - it erases whatever info you had already filled out for that screen. Annoying when it’s necessary to flip back and forth for necessary info

Very easy to use, self-explanatory, and submission works great with confirmation sent within a minute. However I would have appreciated a bit more details and/or examples on some things I need or not need to declare, to avoid losing time searching for more information on the web. No big deal, just something for improvement eventually

App seems well thought out, leads user through necessary questions logically. One suggestion: cruise ship passengers sailing from outside NZ are still required to enter a city as the location where they’re staying. Might want to either clarify that’s the city from which they embarked or change logic to not require that field be completed.

I love the ability to make this declaration electronically. I have a hard time writing manually because of arthritis in my fingers. This is so much easier!

Very easy app to navigate. Took no more than a couple minutes to complete.

NZTD was very convenient although we had difficulty with the address in NZ since we were in a cruise ship.

Easier to do it pre flight than trying to do while in flight.

Never used NZTD before. I heard that NZ custom is pretty strict on what you can bring to NZ. NZTD provides an adequate amount of time to get your declaration done before you start your trip.

This was an easy process to follow and is better than having write it out in customs.
