KamadoJoe is great for manually checking everything without going out to the grill and setting your temp. There are basic features however that are just not useful at all.
1. All the probe temp targets are the same, therefore useless. for example, no matter which type meat you choose, the rare, medium rare, medium rare, etc are the same temps for poultry, pork, beef, and fish. MY $10 probe thermometer knows those don't all cook at the same temp.
2. Editing timer and temperature is not easy. You can't add time to the timer until it reaches 0. This is a simple feature. For temp, when you set it and decide to change it, sometimes you can not do so, as hitting confim will not change the displayed set temp.
