Every month, for most of the month my VIP features (retouch, templates, effects, etc.) are no where to be found even after signing out and back in, removing the app & redownloading, signing in, checking that version is up to date, hundreds of pictures erased for storage purposes, cache cleared, shutting off and turning on phone, closing it and opening it. I’ve reached out at least once a month to resolve and most of the time my features are available shortly after but I never received a response. In July, alone, I have reached out 4 times with not even a single response and no compensation for my troubles. It’s really unfortunate that their customer service is less than mediocre because Hypic is by far my favorite photo editor.

This app has such great potential to be amazing, if the developers can just quit adding unnecessary features (Faded Film?). For the past 10 days all of the AI features have been missing. This app is just so annoyingly unstable. It’s like a crapshoot if the AI features and others will appear. Which stinks if you have to get something done. And yes, I paid for the app.

Their customer service… WHAT customer service?? I messaged them on Instagram days ago and haven’t gotten a response. I have attempted to delete the cache and even deleted the app. Nothing works. If I were you I would steer clear of this app unless you like your app to vary in experiences.

Downloaded this today for the first time and was excited to try out the features advertised, but the only ones available are basic editing tools such as brightness adjustment and filters. There aren’t any AI, background removal, or makeup effects available. A feature that changes facial expressions in photos is even advertised on the home page of the app yet when I click on “try now” it leads me to choosing a photo and then nothing, there is no option to use the feature - it just doesn’t appear anywhere along with a ton of other features the app claims to have.

Are these features available for only some people while others don’t have access to them or something? That’s the only reason I can think of for all the positive reviews, or they’re from bots. There are reviews explaining this same issue going back months yet it still hasn’t been fixed. I would have loved to try out this app properly by exploring all the features that are currently being advertised but so many of them are simply not there.
