If could rate 0 I would. It was so easy to work the previous app but this one has been awful since the change. I wish I didn’t need it but I do. Hopefully it will change for the better.

I have always had issues with VeraBank. I really love this bank but I just wished VeraBank would actually work I’m always have trouble with it and when I call they say they can’t help me with the problem.

Please bring back our old app! I do NOT like this new one. It leaves transactions pending for 2 days and doesn’t give you credit right away for mobile deposits. I just don’t like it and I’ve been banking with this app for nearly 10 years. It really makes me want to switch banks.

New app is just as terrible as the old one. Why don’t we get literally anybody under the age of 30 to build VeraBank instead of some boomer that doesn’t know how to work their phone to begin with? Like come on? Ugly and not fluid.

Was charged a late fee from this app for something that was on autopay in the previous app. Because they sent “many emails” they would not take the fee off. I should’ve been contacted directly not notified from a generated email that listed this change at the very bottom.

It honestly feels like a sideways stick is stuck up my bummm using VeraBank! I can’t sit and use it. I can’t walk and use it. Nor can I just use it! I can’t afford the “fun pack” so I guess I’ll just go buy some diapers….gahhhhhhhh not looking forward to pulling it out anytime soon. I sorta like the awkwardness. Time to relive the good ol days…COW TIPPIN ho3s! Bang that

VeraBank frequently logs me out when I’m trying to submit check deposits. I have to repeat some deposits 3 times to get them to submit. Huge time sink.

This new app is enough to make my husband and I want to switch banks. We have different issues. He can’t even log in. It just stays loading.
I am now having issues depositing checks through VeraBank . It will accept the “front” picture of the check, but never the “back” picture, no matter what I do.
It’s so confusing when you’re trying to look at your withdrawals/deposits. And there’s no widget option of VeraBank like the old version had.
The old app was better. I don’t see why they tried to fix something that wasn’t broken.

Where do I even start?! I can’t log in on the first try EVER. I have to close VeraBank out completely and try a second time. Ebills are no more, and even though it says ‘ebill eligible’ I dare you to try and click on it. You have to tap in just the right spot when trying to type in the amount you want to pay, your ‘bill activity’ (scheduled bills) is in the wrong order, you have to scroll down to see which bills are scheduled to be paid… the bills that are scheduled the farthest out are at the top… I really don’t understand how that makes sense, and you can’t edit a scheduled bill, you literally have to cancel it and reschedule it. I could go on. Y’all didn’t work with someone that uses common sense when developing VeraBank. There’s an easier way to do this! Please fix it!

As most of the reviews say so, the new app it’s awful. It glitches every time we open it (if it opens at all). Transactions take a long time to clear up. Overall it’s the functionality of VeraBank that doesn’t work. We have to reset the phones in hopes that it will help but in reality, it’s VeraBank .
After someone left a bad review there is the “customer service “ answering asking to send an email to the bank stating what’s the issue, it seems the same type of answer to all the reviews, and even if we send the emails what are we gonna say? What are they gonna do? We don’t need the bank to go over our transactions or stuff like that, that’s what VeraBank it’s for.
If VeraBank it does not fix the bank may lose a lot of customers because it’s a pain trying to manage transactions with an app that doesn’t work as it should.
If someone is monitoring these reviews please bring back the old app if this new one can’t be fixed. Thank you.

Just so much worse than the other one

The old app had a useful widget to check balances. On this one, it’s nowhere to be found. Why?

Not a fan of the changes. No widget and transactions don’t show up instantly like they did before.

The old app would give you due dates and amounts due on loans. I moved all my loans to this bank because the old app made it so easy to make payments. Why ruin something so good???

This is the kind of bank that treats its clientele like crooks, while being crooks (exorbitant hidden fees and loopholes) and while siding with devious corporations. Their favorite move is to charge you an overdraft fee when they don’t even pay the overdraft. Any other bank does the right thing and just declines the transaction. So if you get hoodwinked by someone, this app is still going to charge you EVEN THOUGH IT GIVES UP ZERO CONSIDERATION. The bottom line is this bank wants your money to be their money and will swindle you out of it by any phony means necessary.

I prefer the old app. You can’t even see your balance without having to scroll. At least the running balance is still there.

Ok so app was good then they added a bigger top banner that just has my name on it and a goals tab that is in my way and I can’t remove or move to another location!! Really wish the programmer would use VeraBank they are messing with.

App freezes when security code entered

Ever since this app has launched the current version of VeraBank 9 times out of 10 I and another person I know find that when he use touch id to log into VeraBank it will lag (with that circular loading symbol) and won’t load your account(s). I’ve force quit all apps before logging (trying to log in anyway), I’ve even trying doing a hard power down on my device. None of that helps. Like I was saying 9 times out of 10 you won’t get to open/load your account on the first try. I’ve waited minutes most of the time without it loading my account. I force quit the time and then sometimes on the 2nd try it will then work and log me in, but sometimes like today it’s 3 tries and nothing still. Extremely frustrating! I’d hoped when this app overhauled VeraBank and relaunched it this would’ve been fixed, but it’s still happening. The actual brick and mortar location of the bank and it’s employees are great, but VeraBank gets a solid 2. Some days I think about changing to a bank with an app that works regularly.

I do not like that in this new app every transaction is the same color. On the old app when you made a deposit it would be green, there you could tell a difference in your transactions. It would be nice if that were fixed.

The original app had features that I did actually like, as well as presentation that was easier to navigate. One example is the access to bill pay, which now has to be found in the “menu” section. I wish the tab bar the bottom of VeraBank was customizable, because I rarely need access to “chat” Also, now the bill pay section continues to display items after they are paid. It’s distracting (to me anyway) and overall I feel like VeraBank in its original form was easier to navigate and easier to read. Also, CONSTANT display issues and bugs, (at least the bank does put up a banner in the login area alerting you) that make utilization at times impossible.

Why does it take forever to load VeraBank⁉️⁉️⁉️ Times out, with go internet connection.

There was nothing wrong with the old app. I don’t love the layout of this one, and it’s been glitchy for my husband and I so far. Deposits literally always glitch. As soon as I hit submit it always takes me back to the login screen logged out, and sometimes the deposit goes through and other times it doesn’t.

My ebills all went away and now I can figure out how to set it back up. In Bill Pay my payees are showing Ebill eligible, but there’s no way to add it on VeraBank . I called customer service for help and after 10 minutes of them trying to figure it out we got disconnected! Y’all need to fix this stupid app!

Can’t deposit checks online, it constantly gives an app timeout message. No alerts are sent regardless of alert settings. No quick view on Android. Bring back the old app.

Haven’t liked the new online banking bill pay ever since the last change was made. It’s sooo much more complicated !! Hate to pay bills each month now!!!

I’ve never had issues until recently but it seems to stall several times a day and forget using it to even check your balance after 6 pm. It won’t load your banking information.

Would like to be able to make transfers from other institutions easier!

VeraBank is getting better with the improvement of identified individual payment notices rather than lumped in the same total but….

I would also like to see “scheduled payment” and date in bill pay like you do “last payment” and date rather than having to go to each individual payee to make sure it’s scheduled already. Thank you for reading. 😊

Good functionality with one exception - I wish I knew how to make VeraBank shutdown automatically. Currently it stays open until I manually turn it off.

It gives me the ability to administer my own money without having to go to the bank

I work later into the day and can’t make it to the bank to deposit my paycheck. With the photo deposit I’m able to deposit my checks without worrying about making it to the bank. Great app very helpful

I have had no issues thus far using this app for my financial troubles! They have amazing customer service and always provide me with the answers I need whilst seeming as if they enjoy what they do to help others!

I have Banked with this group for 30 years. Have experienced changes along the way as they progressed. The online banking has gone through appearance changes yet remains easy to navigate and meet my needs. If at any time I have any questions or need help, the support team has always provided me with the utmost assistance and courtesy as they walk me through the process.

You can view your account balances, transfer between accounts and recent activity. Very easy to use.

Use it every day best thing to keep in touch with our money and make sure that we don’t overpay or make mistakes. Plus customer support is wonderful.

Thorough easy to use app. Better than most, not just banking but health too, Vera has a well working app. It has no problems that come to mind.

VeraBank has always met my needs in terms of reviewing past and pending transactions, transferring funds, making mobile deposits, checking on my current credit score, and the like. The setup of VeraBank makes it easy to maneuver through and find what I’m searching for.

VeraBank is something that I use daily and multiple times a day. I have several friends that have this app as well and it’s nice to be able to do an internal instant transfer to another VB customer without incurring a fee.

I’ve been using VeraBank for many years. It’s consistently great. Provides all the info I need and is simple to use.
