I signed up on the this app website, downloaded Telly as instructed, but when I click the link in the email, it doesn’t open the link in Telly , it instead opens a Safari page.

Looks like this app just wants to gather data with your consent to use it, but won’t actually allow you to sign up.

I keep getting a notification telling me to go back to Telly to complete any remaining prompts in order to finish my reservation so I go to Telly , but there are no prompts. there is nothing to fill out.

Telly was referred to me as I am a member of a discussion group and the promise of getting a free TV but until today, there’s no movement on their end. Uninstalling Telly.

I am trading my data for a TV. It’s not free, it’s transactional. With that said, I just deleted my account. Over 18 months waiting. At some point, even one who is most patient loses patience.

Or that’s how it feels like when I initially signed up for this app. Give up some information for a free smart tv.

In the world of technology and where human information is worth literally millions and yet this app has that information already, my disclaimer information and me being okay with that. But yet, have not received any kind of response.

unfortunately I think I will unsubscribe my information from this tech/data company. Been close to a year of not coming up on two years.

When trying to create an account after entering my email and new password I was unable to get to the NEXT button because it was hidden by the keyboard, and the keyboard didn’t have any up/down arrows to move from field to field. Tried doing this on both iPad gen 10 and iPhone 11. Sadly I won’t be signing up, and no I’m not stopping my world to use the contact support button.

Kept trying to create an account and it just kept saying “Error” with zero text explaining what the error is. I can’t tell if it’s something I did (maybe password doesn’t meet criteria) or if it’s a server error or what. Not very user friendly to just say “Error” and give users context as to the error source. Gave up trying to create an account.

App doesnt let you log in, they claim people are reserving free TV but the truth is Telly doesn’t work.
They wanna act like are being transparent and barrage all the news outlets about helping consumers. Then they should build an app that does what you say it does. You can’t reserve a TV on Telly. Do not download

Its been forever and I’ve heard nothing. I’m deleting Telly at this point.

After filling out the survey, Telly displays an error message and like many other reviewers I cannot fully create an account. Giving 1 star for now until this is resolved. Great idea and concept.

I signed up for a free TV over a year ago and have not heard hide nor hare about receiving my TV. They keep updating Telly but for what, does me no good. Please contact me and let me know what is going on.

I signed up for this app over 1 year ago and have never even received a single email or correspondence. This seems like some sort of scam because apparently the tv doesn’t even exist and you will never get one. But this app gets all your info like address and phone number to sell . What a disappointment.

I reserved my tv May 15, and I am yet to receive a singular text, call, email, or notification on Telly . I was genuinely looking forward to seeing such a great idea achieved but unfortunately it’s just another hype grab. Don’t give them any of your information, you at least get a pen when you give the bank your info these guys just laugh and move on

As said, just another data collecting tool. Selling our info to finance a handful of free TVs then forcing positive reviews as per their agreement.

I signed up and went through the free tv process of answering all the marketing stuff. Did that for the advertised expectation of getting this so-called free tv. I signed up during what I believe was the first few days this app TV started advertising to customers All the way back in May 2023. I’ve opened a support to get asking for a status, because I started seeing on various websites that quite a few people out there already got their TV, and even stating a date much later than mine when they signed up for a this app TV. Also got an email saying that they began shipping the TVs. Even when I asked Support about that, I was given the runaround saying I’ve done everything that I can do, I just need to wait for the TV. unbelievable!

Do not sign up. They’re only collecting user data and trying to get as many people to sign up. Everything they say is a lie, supposed to receive a free tv over a year ago. No updates from them

I downloaded Telly , signed myself and several colleagues/friends for the free this app promotion. This was in May 2023. No new communications. No updates. No one I know has received anything from this app nor have they been contacted. Seems phishy. I will likely uninstall the this app app this month. Seeing others in reviews mention misfortune. Good luck to everyone else.

The this app app continues to receive updates but no update on our TV Reservation. A simple update notification would go a very long way.

I signed up pretty much the first day the TVs became available (among the first 10,000) and still haven’t gotten any update on when mine will show up. At this point I’m debating finding a way to opt out and just saving up money to buy a TV instead because this is just ridiculous

I’ve been signed up and had a reservation for like 6 or 7 months and haven’t heard not one thing from anybody about anything! I look at Telly every single day and it’s the same message. I’d just really like to know when or if I’m going to receive my this app!

Had to start over and redo the survey because it told me there was an error after I submitted which was annoying but at least that’s a one time activity. Telly is barebones though. Seems like a good opportunity to put in information about the product, pictures, videos, AR to see what it would look like on your wall, etc. Instead the signup is the only functionality. Not sure what type of financial info and sensitive info Telly is grabbing but if you delete Telly you won’t be notified if you’re selected for a tv.

Size is perfect! We love that everything we need or want to watch or do is just a click away. Love the sound bar as well & the second screen is perfect for me to keep up to date on news & weather. Waiting on the remote feature for Telly . Would definitely recommend to a friend or family member.

If you’re getting an error message when logging in for the first time, try opening the original verification email from this app on your phone. When you click the button in the email, Telly should open automatically and allow you to log in.

Love this tv so much, it’s incredible! I’ve had two bugs to report, and I’ve had feedback from the company themselves within a couple hours on average and fixed. I would just love a remote built into the this app app that would make it better. Otherwise, incredible!

I think the TV is incredible I signed up in may just got mine. Gorgeous picture sweet all together only thing is they should add a remote to Telly (similar to Roku) streamline things for the user and let us use our phone keyboard also let us pick our own background. Other than that incredible.

I’m really excited for the future of smart TVs. But, Telly… Oof! Having nothing but trouble trying to set up the widgets and other features. I know they’re just getting started, but they should really work on these things, these bugs, before putting an app like this out. Again, I understand how new this is. I’m still excited, nonetheless.

I’m an Emmy-winning video editor used to high-quality video playback…and this app didn’t disappoint. I’m not claiming it’s the same as a $1000 OLED but it’s pretty amazing and comparable to most sets on the market.

But what I can’t get over are the additional features this 55” solidly-built wonder has. Deep bass from the integrated (and attractive) sound bar permeates the room with resonant deep-seated sonics, the multi-colored backlight makes long-term binging a pleasure free from eye strain. Multiple inputs and outputs give ultimate flexibility and wonderful color rendition adds clarity…and all for no cost to you. In a world where we’re being fleeced by companies left and right, this app is too good to be true—-but it is!

I read reviews of people rating Telly below 5 stars because they haven’t received the free this app tv yet. What has that to do with the performance of Telly . Telly is for information only and to set up the tv when it is received. I waited 5 months before I received my Fantastic this app tv. So being patient is the key especially since they are trying to get one tv in each household in the USA. Remember they are making these TV’s in batches so just be patient and I’m sure once you get it you’ll enjoy the experience!

I reckon they fixed Telly , what I did before they fixed it was use a different email than the one I used on the website, fixed the issue. Don’t know if I’ll get a tv that way but yeah. My only issue when signing up was the lack of cities, my city wasn’t on the list, so I put my city in the second address bar thing. Anyway cool.

So far after getting mine. I’ve really enjoyed it. My family loves the dual screen especially when one person is watching the TV can keep up with scores news and weather. Still alittle ways to go for the company but they have a great design

Sooo I signed up and left Telly and waited checking my email… as usual when I received an email a week ago that we’ve been selected and they are delivering our tv tomorrow, “THANKSGIVING” but if that’s the schedule they wanted then I suppose it’s fine by me. We’ll see tomorrow what’s in store!

Yes it has a catch, in that it tracks you and you can’t turn off the bottom screen, but every company tracks you anyway and most have ads you ignore as much as possible anyway - at least this one gives you a kickass tv for as payment for your data!

I got my notification that my this app was ready last week and it shipped and came within a couple days after I verified and I have to say I am wildly impressed with the features it has so far and the quality. It’s a great entertainment tv for gaming, video calling family and playing music. I wouldn’t say it’s the best for watching movies due to the small ad that runs constantly on the small second screen but it’s barely even a thought when you’re gaming. It also came with built in RGB lights in the back which was totally unexpected and came with a Google Streaming stick. Overall SUPER impressed with the tv. I will update as time goes on

I have to say I’ve had the TV for a while now. I’ve had input and emailed. They listened. I’ve had issues, they immediately fixed. The support is fantastic and the TV quality is great. And the ads shown on the second screen have even gotten me to try new products (yes it was ads for food but still). Well done this app devs and keep up the good work
