Was really hopeful as a new property manager that I had found a great site/app. Unfortunately that hasn’t been the case. It constantly glitches when I try to send prospective tenants the application and I’ve actually lost out on a lot of applicants due to TurboTenant not working. Very disappointing for how high their fees are… also very disappointed that they let scammers on their site and don’t do legit background checks

I wanted to like TurboTenant but the experience has been more stressful than dealing with tenants. I never leave app reviews but this company does not care that they’re making your life harder instead of easier. They don’t even sound sympathetic. It’s glitch after glitch after glitch. I would list all the problems I had but it makes no difference because I’m either going to find another company or just use docusign and Google workspace which is probably cheaper to handle my business and communicate with my tenants. They’re so many workarounds that combined are faster and more reliable that this app. Horrible app and even worse customer service. No apologies for the inconvenience just ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and you just have to deal with it.

I was so hopeful for TurboTenant to manage our properties. I tested it in one and it seemed to be amazing. I entered all my prospective tenants from another place and listed one of our properties to test out. My account was then suspended with no information.

I contacted them and was told I had to provide documents via email (an unsecure request) of which their TOS do not state it’s a requirement only that they can ask. If that’s the case it should have been done initially instead of suspending my account AFTER I sent links to tenants and now they are unable to submit.

I redacted identifying information and provided the necessary requests and was told 1-2 business days. I am still unable to login and retrieve the information I entered and do not thing it’s very professional to lock so one out and hold their data as hostage that does not belong to them.

With their lack of service I would not recommend at all.

I expected a lot more from TurboTenant as a landlord. It’s like they built an app just to have an app and never talked to a single customer about what would actually make building an app useful.

Here’s a tip to the Product Manager running this; Only include features a landlord would use on a daily or weekly basis. This includes:
1. Accounting/expenses - the main tab should be adding accounting transactions. This is the most compelling reason to have an app on your phone that you use almost every day.
2. Maintenance - managing your maintenance requests from an app would be very helpful.
3. Payments - visibility into payments frequently would be great.
4. Messages - managing all messages and responding quickly through an app would be great.

TurboTenant currently only has functionality you would want to use a computer for, not an app.

I have transitioned all my rental to using this app and has been leaning toward paying the annual fee.

1. Messages, It would be great if it does not require the tenant to sign up for an account to see the message sent by the landlord. Due to this none of my tenants actually uses this.

2. Need more functionality (payments, Leases, etc.) build into TurboTenant instead of redirecting it to the website. Making it pointless to even download TurboTenant .

3) the latest update seem to have more crashes. Please look into this. eg. clicking on the Help link and it crashes out.

Works, then crashes. Don’t use the marketing tab. It crashes. Don’t look at the applying tenets. It crashes. Don’t send application links. It crashes. Don’t edit the lease. It crashes.
Guess TurboTenant just alerts me to get my laptop to log into the website. For that 3 stars.

New to even using TurboTenant. Trying it out for the first time for a couple of my properties. Has worked decent for the past week but today when I’m trying to screen potential tenants to setup viewings this weekend I can’t even open TurboTenant

Currently, the only thing holding TurboTenant back from 5 stars is that in order to view additional details about charges, such as payment dates or partial payment amounts, you need to exit TurboTenant —open the same page in a mobile web browser, then select the dropdown to show additional details. This really breaks the smoothness of the experience because this is the only thing that forces you to leave then app.

The website, both desktop and mobile, feature a convenient dropdown for these details, a functionality that would be incredibly beneficial if available in TurboTenant .

Adding this dropdown feature within TurboTenant for charge details would enhance user convenience and allow for immediate access to important information.

Thank you for your dedication to improving TurboTenant . I’m eager to see how TurboTenant continues to grow and improve.

I really enjoy using Turbo Tenant. It's been 9 months and no significant issues. It would be five stars for me but it still takes me some time to figure out certain things I need to view. It is not as user friendly in regards to having information related to my tenant and rental easy to find right away. But it could just be me.

I love TurboTenant! I’m a new landlord. I’m using turbo tenant this time around and loving it! It has made everything so much less stressful. It guides you through everything seamlessly. It’s professional, simple, and effective. The only thing I can recommend is they provide applications, screenings, and contracts in Spanish and other common languages we see in the USA! :)

I love how they make everything as easy as possible and they have some of the best support team I’ve ever worked with.

App works great, it would be good just to have payments feature on it too

Makes being a landlord a little easier. Has all the tools needed and easy to communicate with possible tenants and tenants. The listing feature is awesome.

I have used this app for about a year now and it makes the process of managing applications, lease agreements with electronic signing , money collections and communications soooo easy! I have recommended this product to so many other landlords out there because it’s easy and takes a lot of the emotion/drama out of signing a lease in person and collections are all auto generated and collected. I pay the annual fee to have access to all products but there is an option to pay-as-you-go if you prefer. Well worth the small investment! You can’t go wrong!

My opinion this app is the best because they advertise on so many different platforms and have so many different resources and so many different renters I highly recommend this app to my colleagues and friends

As a LL, TurboTenant very much caters to marketing new properties, but doesn’t have good features for managing existing properties. For example, you can’t just click on one of your existing properties to locate the payment history, documents, maintenance requests, etc. Everything is about renting it out. And it’s not intuitive. For example, you have to use the “create a charge” feature on your dashboard in order to see whether your tenants have paid rent. Maybe the website makes more sense.

I just moved to Pittsfield, Ma. I bought a 10 unit building it’s no place to advertise. I posted my requirements on your site and BOOM, best leads! I like the fact that your site is connected to most popular sites out there, to advertise! Thank you for everything.

this app works well for our purposes (residential single family rental) and has good support. There are a few lingering issues but what app doesn’t have a few of those? I didn’t like the unilateral 80% increase in the premium subscription and if that happens again I’ll go shopping. Not good guys!! But otherwise we are happy customers.

We are very happy this far with our experience with this app.
Its consolidation and ease of use makes this platform easy to setup and manage your listings, tenants, tenant leads and so much more.
We’ve only scratched the surface but so far at very happy with this app!
