Before we chose an app to help manage our rentals, we tried several other ones available through LandlordStudio Store. It was important to have a cloud based app so my wife and I could both use it and update the properties. I also appreciated that I could use it on my desktop. This one was by far the best one currently on the market. I like the ability to create templates to send sms and email massages to the tenants

There are only two complaints I have that prevented it from a 5th star. First, even though I hate accepting partial payments, it’s a fact of life and we don’t turn away any payments. Partial payments when a tenant is late already seem to confuse LandlordStudio . I figured out a way to make sure it accounts for everything, but if wasn’t easy. The 2nd thing is that I would really like to see an online platform in the future where a tenant can go to a website and make their payment online. I realize they can use PayPal now and we do accept it, but having a website they could go to make a payment that was tied in with LandlordStudio would be awesome.

I asked a very specific question about leases and my questions needs more than a 1 second response o need to interact with someone on the phone to ask a few detailed questions that cannot be articulate and Charles refuses to assist. He said to move to a different application. I have used LandlordStudio for a while and have overlooked its short comings. But this is a bunch of bull to not be able to ask a detailed question. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. SO I guess my only question is to ask "how do I export all my data" so I can move to a company that has better support and has better tenant integration and communication. The lease documenting is very poor and the emails are not integrated. You have a very poor tenant communication tracking system. I guess they don't understand that in the states we need paper trails. Please provide details on how to export ALL my data and I will gladly go to a better platform. Charles recommends if you want a more intuitive programs go to "Buildium, Appfolio"

Loving LandlordStudio and it’s helping me with the book keeping a ton! Being able to put expenses it right away makes life so much easier come tax time. The payment tracking, invoices make you seem a lot more professional when dealing with tenants.
LandlordStudio is second to none for ease of use, very well thought out for day to day needs.

The long term/valuation tools need some work.
One suggestion I’d like to see the “valuation” section of properties update when mortgage payments are made. Currently the only valuation that shows up is what the principle balance was and the current value to determine net value. Would be great to be able to track how the principle balance goes down.

I’ve tried so many different property management programs over the years. Yet none were able to combine the ease of use via my iPhone, tablet or computer as well as having all of the DIY features I needed. Landlord Studio combines ease of use over multiple platforms as well having DIY features that are crucial to landlords like me who are on the go and don’t always have an accessible computer. Product support is Great and I love the fact that I can suggest features to be added. This is truly an awesome program with awesome features. Super great program!!!

I’ve used numerous property management programs in the past, and have been using Landlord Studio for about a year. This has been the easiest program to use, even more so than some of the big name softwares. The biggest advantage this program has is the mobile app. I can log payments and expenses on the spot no matter when I am when it comes in. Some other programs force you to wait until you’re at your computer. This helps me to never miss a beat and keep my business moving. Keep up the good work. I’ll keep passing the program along to my fellow landlords.

I have never used such an intuitive property management app. LandlordStudio has the ease of use for management. I am absolutely completely sold. This is my second review and LandlordStudio deserves it.

After using so many management softwares and app, this is the one. I have used simplifyem, quicken, buildium, propertyware.

LandlordStudio and webpage gives me the best cross platform that I was looking for.

Have a problem or idea, contact them and they respond within (longest has been 20 minutes).I don’t want them to get any bigger because then I’m scared they won’t be as good but they really deserve the notoriety. My next comment will be in BiggerPockets.

No they don’t offer an option for tenants to pay online in LandlordStudio and in my experience that’s good. It can get real technical. I wouldn’t request it. Maybe a 3rd party cross platform integration. Online payments take time to process when not done by a financial institution, LandlordStudio is for PM.

I am new to LandlordStudio and initially had a few questions. I sent emails to Tech Support and each time, I got a quick response! They are very interested in making LandlordStudio the best and the response is like none I’ve ever experienced!! I asked for a specific report and attachment feature on LandlordStudio and they replied stating they will add one feature to the next release and put the other in que.

If you are looking for an app that can handle your rental properties with great reporting capabilities, this is it!! Look no further!

I’ve tried over 25 different apps, but this and it’s sister app Landlord buddy are the very best. I use both to handle different portfolios.
Very user friendly, amazing service and quick responses from their customer service team. You can see all the info at a glance as well as get a good number of detailed reports.
They are constantly evolving and adding features to keep LandlordStudio on the top.
My advice save yourself the time and trouble trying out different apps... This is the queen of them all

I switched over from landlordy and to be honest it’s been great. The interface via browser is ok, however I prefer LandlordStudio version. It’s much more eye pleasing in my opinion. LandlordStudio provides everything I need to manage my apartments. I even emailed support and they got back to me in a few minutes. I was happily surprised. I recommend you try it out. You won’t regret it. I’m still on the trial but will switch to the paid version once it’s done. I’m sold!

It is awesome. I love the following features:

It has mobile and website/ desktop uses.

Keeps track of rental income, expenses (stores receipt in cloud for taxes), mileage and notes.
Does excellent reporting

stores all my PDF and jpegs of my leases, credit report, driver licenses under tenant .

Also stores property documents like CC&Rs, utilities info, and items based on the property that you give out each lease.
In organization it stores universal forms like lease, rental condition forms etc.

Allows me to access and store on the go via mobile app and email and text stored documents.

Automatic email reminders to pay rent or notify when late.

And many other features.

It is awesome!

LandlordStudio is not very intuitive in my opinion. It took a while to figure out how to edit the properties and categorize my bank transactions. If I clicked the wrong date of option there is no way to make corrections after the fact. I thought I would just delete each property then add it back as a way to start fresh, but it just made a totally different problem with the information. Just gonna get out before they ask for a payment. The problem has potential, but needs more work.

The simplicity to use and extent of LandlordStudio is what makes it worth for me. I can tap in a few seconds and get the details about any tenant or property. I wish it could integrate with the bank so I can get rid of quickbooks! And avoid having to enter things twice.
I’ve been using property buddy for a couple of years and switched over to landlord studio to have the desktop functionality which is great.

I am a new landlord with no experience and searched extensively for an easy, efficient app for my record keeping . LandlordStudio is amazing. I’ve shown it to several people who like me didn’t know something like this exists. The free trial clenched it for me. I was able to play with it for several weeks before committing and it’s affordable. Tech support answered my questions quickly. I highly recommend LandlordStudio

Am very happy with all of the functionality of LandlordStudio - so easy to enter an expense fo a unit, or a property, or just overall for the business. Tenants had been asking for an online payment option and reported this was extremely easy for them to set up. No complaints or recommendations for improvement!

LandlordStudio seems to pack a lot into a simple interface. I’ve tried a few others and they seem too complex for basic management and tracking. I like the ability to both connect with tenants and share some documentation if desired, and the option to operate and track expenses, income etc without requiring a tenant to interface.

I tried a different landlord property management tool prior to this one and was quite underwhelmed. This tool has a great UI, snappy response, and lots of features to keep your property organized.

One piece of feedback - can you add a feature to denote a property being “owner occupied”? That way I can separate out my personal home costs vs. my tenants if I live in a unit.

Seriously. Life is busy enough trying to work full time, have a family, and have rental properties on the side. I needed something that would create some form of accountability and allow me to track my income and expenses. This does it. Inexpensive as well. A great price for what you get. And like most apps it’s as good as the information you put into it!

LandlordStudio is useful and getting better all the time. The best thing about it, so far, is that the developers are EXTREMELY responsive to my email questions on app use. Seriously, they provide real customer support. As soon as they are able to implement rent collection (in the works), LandlordStudio will be pretty much everything you need. Highly recommended.

LOVE LandlordStudio!! Does everything as advertised and more. Been with LandlordStudio since the early days and there have been many upgrades, ALWAY for the better.

I manage multiple properties with Landlord Studio. It keeps getting better. Highly recommended. The LS team is always responsive and helpful. Cannot go wrong with LS.

I’ve just downloaded and started to explore LandlordStudio . I logged out and went to log back into LandlordStudio and found that neither the user name nor password would populate and there is no option for Face ID. It’s not accessing my iPhone password manager nor has Face ID. There is no remember me function. That means manually typing all login info including a long complicated password. That’s disappointing. Have not yet explored LandlordStudio to comment on all else.

I’ve never left a review before. I’ll keep updating this review. I have two multi units and playing around with the functions of LandlordStudio it seems amazing. Haven’t yet come across any funky elements. I look forward to using this moving forward. Especially being that other similar app can be a bit pricey.

Just finished my free 30 day trial and upgraded to the paid subscription. Easy to navigate app and user friendly. The feature that I like best is that my husband and I can both have LandlordStudio on our phones and share the account so we can both see and track expenses and income with our rental properties.

First time using LandlordStudio, I like it. Everything is in one place, all you have to do is update any new info that pertains to any of your properties and you’re good to go. I definitely recommend it to other landlords. One thing I asked, is there anyway you can auto populate the potential value of a property via Zillow or Redfin?
