Crashing on latest version

Beware! SlideshowPhotos requires permission to upload AND organize photos in my Google photos albums when linking SlideshowPhotos to a google photos account??!! Um….no. Why not just permission to view the photos for a slideshow?

Not all folders in google drive appear. I gave access as requested.

I could not access all the folders, request refund.

If you stop a movie mid play, there’s no good way to get back to it. There’s no fast-forward. You can jump ahead about 30 seconds at a time it’s absolutely obnoxious.

This appears to be a great app! However, they require you to sign up for a recurring charge *before* you can try it.

That's not cool. Every app that does that gets 1 star from me, and if you're reading this, I beg you to also give 1 star.

Nothing wrong with charging for your app, but sign-up-before-you-try apps are designed to trick you into forgetting and accidentally paying for stuff you didn't want. It's very deceptive.

Could have been a good app. My chief complaint is that after signing up for the service you still have to pay for each app that connects to it. I tried to download the one on my smart TV so that I could connect it to my Flickr account. I’m not gonna pay 3.99 plus 6.99 to watch my movies I have on Flickr

It has been absolutely invaluable to me and I will continue to recommend it with 5 stars even if it comes out that the developer is a serial killer that plays with the bodies or something. I don’t know what it is about this simple combination of features that is just completely lacking in every other photo storage or viewing app I could find, but I have never even bothered to use or look at any others again after finding SlideshowPhotos. I am truly blessed to have found this little gem.

Can you set it on random play?

I use SlideshowPhotos to display a continuous Apple TV slide show of the photos stored online in my Flickr account—more than 8000 photos in 180 folders. To get them in chronological order, I sorted the photos within each folder and then arranged the folders by date. Brian was very helpful in initial setup and answering ongoing questions. There are many settings to customize the display format, information presented, and timings. In my case, photo description and folder name are displayed, new photo fades in every 10 seconds, and SlideshowPhotos sleeps at night. SlideshowPhotos is well worth the subscription fee.

Nifty app. Allows me to play all my images, gifs, and videos in a slideshow format on my apple tvs and iphone. The apps gives me all the options that I need.

I have been looking for an app that reliably displays photos and that loads faster than Apple photos on Apple TV. This appears to be it! Even from OneDrive it is quite performant.

I tried a few different digital frame apps and they were all lacking one way or another. But Pixfolio had everything I was looking for - lots of slideshow options, lots of photo source options, good cropping, and scheduled sleep which disables the screen. Super pleased.

I am enjoying the randomized slideshow on my Apple TV. It works well with my 80,000 photos in iCloud. With so many pictures, it is hard to always know what I am looking at. Showing the folder name and the date is a great help. I hope Apple will make the photo location and photo caption metadata available some day soon, so it can also be displayed.

I mainly want a photo explorer and slideshow for my apple tv. And other devices I use apple photo and google photos, but the later is not available on apple tv🤦 Not only have i found an app that can work for google photos, but it can also, at the same time, work with apple photos, and others. It can do slideshow of all your accounts simultaneously if you desire. This is amazing. Also the slideshows are not like just the last xxx or the curated xxx photos, it can do a slideshow of ALL your photos. I love it!! Best photo app for the apple tv 👏👏👏

This is one of the best photo frame apps available. It allows easy access into your photo library in the cloud such as Google Photos and also plays videos that are stored there (which is not supported by most competing products). The cost of this application is reasonable and the support for SlideshowPhotos is also great. Bugs and feature requests have been addressed in a very timely fashion. Overall I am exceedingly pleased with it and highly recommend it to anyone looking to use their iPads as a digital photo frame.
