On 3/6/26 my wife and I decided to eat at Zippys (Hilo) after our blood test. Waitress 1363 Reggie R. served us coffee. My cup was filthy with chipped cup rim. I notified Reggie, she came back with a new cup however, the coffee was luke warm. She disappeared so I wasn't able to notify her of the problem. Finally our food arrived so I notified her about the luke warm coffee. She brought another cup with an attitude. Geesh, not our problem. My corned beef hash was ok on the edge however, the middle part was cold! The rice and eggs was warm, not hot. With Reggies attitude, I ate my meal with hesitation to notify her of my problem. Finally before we left, she asked how was everything. We told her of the coffee not being hot, rice not hot enough and corned beef was cold in the center. Her attitude was terrible. We went next door to pick up a 6 inch coconut haupia pie, disappointed it was very dry, had to eat it with vanilla ice cream. My wife decided not to use her Zipster reward and will be closing her account. I'll leave my account open since we enjoy the local food, but we don't like cold food. We want everything served hot. I hesitated to voice my opinion, but my friends told me to say something so it could be corrected.
Always enjoy the customer service at the Wahiawa Zippy’s. Terri and Harley are terrific servers. Major problem is, on Saturday mornings, 7:00-8:00 is very busy with only one server, server, causing delays in the delivery of your order. When the order comes out, it is cold. Watching Terry, and now Harley working the restaurant solo, breaks my heart, as they try to take orders and serve your customers. My recommndation is, have another person assist during the breakfast hours. Thank you!

I order online and I pay online. I just want to pick up my food. I’m standing at the counter being ignored by the employees packing the food. Nobody acknowledges me while my food is ready and just needs to be handed to me. Finally I stop them and ask for my food. This has happened twice.

I don’t want to be given a choice to only pay online. I’d rather pay for it at the restaurant. My parents do not know how to use the app but they’re always willing to pay. Please make that an option again.

Whenever I try and order, I get an error message saying to check my payment and try again. I've tried every type of card. Visas, MC and AmEx nothing works.
