So first off it looks very outdated as soon as you go to register. You’re forced to choose one of the available options on all parts of your profile, regardless of wether or not they apply to you.
What I found super irritating and strange though was the fact during the signup process it gave the option of either paying for a premium membership OR confirming my identity by submitting biometric date on a video of me.
Which I did, but they bait and switch this up later by then annoyingly filling out every part of ur profile trying to move on to the next party only to find out it was the upgrade.
They wanted me to pay $60 AND now also give them my ID, AFTER already having me do the video thing earlier in the process.
I think im good on all that. During this process mind you they never allow you to see how many people are even near you. So you could end up signing up, handing over you’re identity and paying $60 which I’m sure is reoccurring monthly only to find out nobody uses this anymore, because it definitely looks dated. Like a forum almost that has so many questions and yeah… I just don’t think it’s for me, but yeah.
Once you sign up for this, there is no option provided to cancel your subscription either through BeeDee or through apple. Apparently, I will have to call my bank to dispute this as well as doing the research to report this to the right people.
I didn’t want to continue my subscription because there aren’t any people in my area.
It’s been 24 hours and I’ve tweaked all the search criteria filters experimented with different things and I still see the same eight choices. I already canceled my subscription because I can’t see me taking part of this for another month even though I have a full month ahead of me.
I’ve tried web based and with BeeDee . They just don’t load. Page sits there forever with the cherries bouncing around. Doubt if I spend money on this unless these get fixed.
I’ve been disappointed in other apps where I can’t really be honest about the kind of relationship I want. BeeDee is welcoming and non-judgmental.
I love that BeeDee is meeting a need for real connection for our “whole selves”. Not to mention it’s easy to use and intuitive. Great find!
