Can't believe this wasn't done sooner

It's absolutely amazing that this app's been able to get this working so flawlessly. They're the only guys who have managed to get a PC and an iphone working in sync in a good way! Dell mobile connect pioneered this, but this app has given it the polish that it needed to be truly amazing.

Works surprisingly well with Windows laptop

I can read and send messages from my windows laptop from my iPhone. It sends as a text message though instead of iMessage but it’s still better than nothing

Working great so far

This is working great so far for the iPhone. Connects to my PC every time. File transferring working great also.

**One minor detail would be great, dark mode.**

Does not pair

Tried a hundred times, it will not successfully pair. SMS, calls, etc will not work even though I manually bluetooth pair my phone and can transfer files. Looked for help of any kind. Only found articles about how great this is and reddit threads on people who can’t get their phones to pair. Where’s the support? Hopefully it improves but this app per usual is only concerned about this appearing to be a great app not actually working stably.

Finally…

Some usable iOS integration with Windows! iMessage, phone calls, and notifications are all there!

Is there a mac version?

Is there a mac version?

Amazing when it works

Intel could be a gamechanger. Intel often looses connectivity with the companion PC app. I have to restart the iPhone to re-enable sync. Hoping for more reliability in future versions.

Great app

Really great app. Finally got it. It would be perfect if the clipboard can by synchronized.

Finally, iPhone and Windows Integration

Shoutout to this app for pushing this project forward. It’s difficult for any company to step forward with a product like this as it’s hard to see the commercial potential

I really hope Intel doesn’t get locked to Evo processors, there would be a significant amount of public backlash considering many people paid for more expensive processors… just to get locked out of the most fundamentally useful feature I’ve seen for my work life

Commercial wars aside between Microsoft/Apple/Android… this is a win for all shareholders involved

Troubleshooting ISSUES

First I’d like to start that this is a very genius idea that allows Intel to connect our mobile device to out PC. However in order to use Intel on PC and Mobile to the full to it full potential there are some troubleshooting I went through. When pairing my phone to my pc using Intel happened instantly. It wasn't until Intel on my PC tried to use Bluetooth to connect to my phone to grab my contacts and photos is were I had trouble the most. The way I by based this was deleting both apps on PC and mobile. Going into Bluetooth devices on my PC and phone and pairing them manually. Then I redownload the apps and pair my contacts and photos seamlessly. I don't know why the apps have trouble using the bluetooth to pair to one another but this fixed it. I would like to see in the future that this process made easier as showed case in the CES 2023 Demo.

A game changer

I love Intel as a windows user with an iPhone. Its surprisingly from this app but it gives a clean experience and does a good job of integrating iPhone to windows like you might expect a mac. My biggest issue right now is not being able to pair/save multiple PC’s at a time (I have to forget my current paired PC and pair a new one) which is problematic when I’m often switching between laptops.

Other than that I think Intel is great. It does need refinements to its UI and UX (what doesn’t) and could operate more smoothly with less bugs but that’s normal. I would greatly prefer it if it were able to connect via USB and enable fast and intuitive file/photo transfer that way (the biggest thing I have a problem with trying to transfer thousands of photos from iPhone to my Windows Laptop).

It was fine ... until it wasn't

It was working great for like an hour. I closed Intel and went about my day. However, the second time I tried to load Intel up I was prompted to reconnect and that's where the issues began. So my ipad says that it's connected to my PC but the actual PC app is stuck on a never ending "Connecting, please wait..." screen. I checked the settings on the PC app and saw that it also says my ipad is linked BUT the wait screen won't go away and allow me to actually transfer my files. My bluetooth is on, my ipad and PC are connected. I have removed and re-downloaded the apps twice. Now idk what to do. It's unfortunate because I really see the potential in Intel. I just wish these bugs can be fixed. I want to be able to change my rating in the future.

Idea is great but pairing is troublesome

The iOS app works great, but the Bluetooth pairing is troublesome.
TL;DR: Pair your phone to your PC *BEFORE* you download the Windows app!

I couldn't get it to work until I saw a review on the iOS app saying that you'll have to pair the phone *BEFORE* installing the Windows app. I didn't have my phone paired to PC before and I tried pairing it to my PC’s Bluetooth, but the Windows app still shows connection error. So I ended up uninstall Intel from Windows, unpair my phone from my PC. Then repairing (this time the battery status shows up on my PC's Bluetooth settings indicating the last pairing was unsuccessful while the Windows app was installed somehow) and then redownload the Windows app and it worked. Hope this will be addressed in the future.

Great app concept, just has a few bugs.

I first want to say, as soon as I heard about Intel I immediately downloaded it. It took a few attempts to get everything paired but I eventually got it “Working”. The file transfer works fine but it’s the messages that have issues. My contacts only showed up once and I was able to message a friend. The notifications seemed to be working. I got a call notification and tried to answer it form my computer but it didn’t work. I would also like to see FaceTime integrated as well. I think as soon as all the bugs are ironed out this will be the best app to come to windows.

By

Great, could be even better!

Loving the idea and it’s almost there with the integration!

Suggestions for future updates would be to keep message history instead of it deleting when phone gets disconnected from the pc.

Another would be to allow group messages, I noticed if you are in a group chat on your iphone any incoming messages will come in on the pc as individual conversations so when you reply you are only replying to that person. Fixing that would be great!

Updated Review

I am revising my review of this product because I cannot in all fairness slam a product that probably does exactly what it was designed for. My problem is that it doesn’t work for me. When I first saw Intel I was excited because I’ve been hoping for a product just like this. Unfortunately, I didn’t read the documentation thoroughly enough. Intel is designed to work exclusively with this app Evo laptops. I use AMD processors in my computers, so - Intel won’t work for me. I think it’s a shame, it would be really great to have Intel available for all PC’s. I have to apologize for the earlier negative review, my bad for not RTFM.

Fairly happy, but definitely needs room for improvement

When it works, it works nicely and I appreciate that it’s working. However, I’m frequently having issues with the dropping connectivity with Intel when trying to use my Bluetooth speaker, or earbuds. I do not have this problem when using simultaneous Bluetooth with any other device or application, only this app Unison. if I want to use the other devices such as a video call, etc. I cannot even stream and audio app while my computer is connected to a Bluetooth speaker. I have to disconnect from unison in order for it to work. As a result, I typically have difficulty reconnecting.

Memory Hog issue needs a fix ASAP

Intel does every single job you want, but incomplete. Intel works through Bluetooth.

You can message people and get calls from your iPhone via Bluetooth but you can’t get iMessage history and group texts do NOT work.

You can transfer photos from iPhone to desktop and vice versa but you don’t the wrong metadata like when the photo was taken.

You can get notifications and make calls from desktop but there’s no place to change Intel audio settings like which mic to use or which audio settings to use.

The worst part of Intel is even when you’re not sending any files, delete all the files cached, etc, Intel on your iPhone constantly takes more and more memory. I’m assuming it’s just saving every single byte of data that it’s transferring and also storing random bloatware because there isn’t an immediate reason for why the space it takes on my iPhone grows every single day.

Until these issues are fixed or a fix is announced to be on the way soon, I will not be using Intel. I’m optimistic but these are deal breakers for me unfortunately.

iPhone/Windows Integration is FINALLY HERE!

This has been YEARS in the making, and after countless attempts through workarounds such as AirMessage, we FINALLY have an app that enables iPhone to PC connectivity. This not allows iMessage on PC, but ALSO allows file sharing and dropping, replacing alternatives such as SnapDrop and Pushbullet (which is now beyond its lifecycle on iPhone anyways). I cannot be happier that Intel is out, and this will fundamentally change the relationship between PC and iPhone. 10/10, would pay money for this.

It actually works

Love Intel because it WORKS. Texts and calls actually come through from my iPhone. And right when I open Intel from my Asus Laptop I can see my latest photos and can transfer quickly. I made it a point to only buy an EVO solely because of Intel. The #1 thing stopping me from converting to Macbook is Intel tbh because you're at such a disadvantage if you have an iPhone with a windows laptop. Great job this app and screenovate!

Great idea, couple flaws

So the biggest reason I got this is to be able to message people from my pc using iMessage, however, I hate that messages disappear and you can’t see past messages or the conversation in general.

Also it really needs a dark mode option. It’s so bright, everything in my computer is dark mode except that. I even switched to an alternate app for music from iTunes just because of the lack of dark mode.

And lastly it should have a mini player version that is small to not take up much space on screen until you need it.

Thankfull

I will forever Be thankful for Intel and software.
The trouble of PC is that when I need files on my device to edit, I have to upload to my PC then upload to my dropbox, then wait for that to finish and then download on my device and then edit which takes me hours and stresses me out now with this I don’t have to buy a an Apple Computer anymore. I’ve just saved 5K, thank you and this app I will forever be grateful

Airdrop for Windows, what’s not to love

Only problem I had is it didn’t tell me I had to connect to my PC’s Bluetooth in settings but after I did that it works fine. File transfer is maybe a bit slower than Apple Airdrop but it’s not a big deal and it’s a million times faster than the previous methods of iPhone/PC file transfer.

By

Excellent app for Windows and Apple users, one problem though

Intel is fantastic and has helped me greatly during my first semester at college, but I can’t connect more than one device to my computer which has to be added. I use an iPad to take notes and so far I’ve had to use my phone as the middleman airdropping to my iPad and then connecting through my phone to unison. It would greatly improve productivity if this were added in the future.

By

Works great so far

The only fix/enhancement I would like to see in upcoming version is to sync the message history. While it’s connected it will sync the messages but once it’s disconnected it will not sync it so if you step away from PC and it’s gets disconnected you cannot see the latest messages. It seems like sync is done for the messages while it’s connected and data flow during that connection.

A real solution for Window’s subpar phone integration

I’ve been looking for a method to sync my iPhone and it’s contents with my Windows computer, something which Microsoft frustratingly doesn’t seem to support. Unison has provided not just a solution, but *the* solution. Phone integration, so elegant and simple that it’s almost on par with that of a Mac. It’s, really, all I’ve been asking for. (also Intel ’s design is stellar, however a dark mode would be nice.)

By

My #1 wish as an iPhone and PC user!

With this app Unison, I finally have the ability to write and receive messages on my Winfows 11 PC through my iPhone. I can also transfer photos and videos back and forth. Unison does require the latest generation of PCs to work, but finally there's an app to cross that iPhone/PC divide.

By

Messages disappear & only shows up as a pop up in the corner of the screen.

The only reason I downloaded this was to be able to text from my laptop. I hate that I cannot see previous messages and I don’t know WHOS idea it was to make the messages disappear but it was not a good one. What logical person would want to text and not be able to see a conversation thread. Please fix this and I will give your application 5 stars.

By

so much better than windows phone link

The fact that this even works is a major plus compared to windows phone link. my number one request would be to be able to see the other people in any message group. Also, history does not populate so you have to be near your computer constantly to see any historical messages.

By

Works but…

Whatever issue the PC has detecting the phone is resolved once you connect Intel . That allows you to open the DCIM file and copy your pictures over. Intel only let me transfer 99 at a time, I have 15,000 pictures. It’s much faster to copy the file over instead. Not how I expected to solve the problem but glad I was able to.

A must for PC users

Been struggling with transferring video files from iPhone to PC. Clumsy and terrible interface using usb cables. Very difficult to see file names and good previews of files to tell the difference between similar takes of a video. Dropbox and OneDrive are very slow. Intel is a godsend. File transfer rates are super fast and you can see what’s being transferred easily. How did I not know about Intel?

By

How it was useful

It was useful because what I had to do when I did not have Intel is send files from Discord to my computer and to OneDrive but now Intel has completely changed my life now it’s way easier to transfer files from a Windows computer. Thank you for making this happen. I really appreciate it. Thank you.😊
