Great mobile pdf app.

I use a lot of PDF software to annotate site plan maps and this app allows me to use my iPad and make edits on the go. Compared to Adobe annotations this app handles large amounts of annotations surprisingly well on the iPad. I have an iPad 6th gen and it’s been abused a lot so it runs slow and lags out on occasions but I am very interested to try this app on desktop and if I can get my job to agree to it maybe buying a license for my work PC. Highly recommend and I love the feature on the free version but I will definitely be getting The paid version so then I can use cloud space to be able to transition between devices easily as well. Only issue I have encountered is when editing a PDF of my tablet crashes no info was saved unless you manually save it periodically. Maybe this is different with cloud storage space. If so then great but if not I would definitely like the ability for the pdf software to make saves as edits are made just to not lose any data.

Really good ptoduct

I've used a few programs to manage pdf files on a variety of platforms (iPad, iPhone, Mac). I've found this app to do everything I need very quickly.

I did have a question about merging Pdf files and got a fast and correct answer with screen shots in about 4 hours! Support can make all the difference!

Recommended.

Intuitive & Fast!

I recently had the opportunity to try out this app. One of the things I appreciated the most about this app was how easy it was to use. Unlike some other PDF readers that can be overwhelming with their features and options, this app had a straightforward and intuitive interface that made it easy to navigate and find the tools I needed. I also appreciated that this app was fast and responsive, which made it easy to open and view PDFs without any lag or delays.

Its intuitive interface and fast performance make it a standout product in a crowded market, and I'm excited to continue using it in the future.

Getting better and better

I got myself an appsumo deal, and I have to say I didn't regret. However, there are still a lot of room for the improvement. In latest update Developer added signature options, that's good. However don't you think we business people have our own stamp and signature already ready in png or jpg format? You don't have the option to add signature ie stamp from photos for example. That would be much appreciated ( like Acrobat Reader has). When organizing pages there si not option copy-paste page from another file. However I must say they are continuously upgrading app...

Cheap and Great

I work for a fiber company and I needed something that allowed for easy print editing with straight lines and call out boxes. Adobe didn’t work fully on my devices and blue beam was just to much for what I needed really. I searched for a while and came soon UPDF. I downloaded it and just in the free version it did what I needed and for $25 a year can’t beat it honestly. Really happy with UPDF , if I had a complaint it’s that I didn’t find it sooner!

So close yet so far

After watching a recent ltt video I noticed UPDF and was excited to finally find a good multi platform pdf editor with a perpetual license. I had been looking for one for a very long time and with classes coming up I thought this would finally be the solution I was looking for. Don’t get me wrong UPDF looks great but the fact that they lack native OneDrive sync absolutely kills it for me. I would love to know if you guys are working on that because the second this (what seems to be a basic feature required by many) gets implemented I will change my review and fork over the $50.

Great Acrobat Pro Alternate for $50

Only things I’d like to see next are alternative icons and the ability to use my own cloud storage like iCloud. I understand that part of my perpetual license purchase alleviated the need for external cloud storage however I find it hard to organize my Files app because this app doesn’t integrate with iCloud. Also it may help save server costs on the this app side? Idk just thinking aloud

Best for all my PDF functionalities!

Before I purchased and downloaded this app, I had Adobe and I absolutely despised using it. It was really difficult to navigate and edit my PDF’s and at the price point they have it at, I thought that was insane/ this app was definitely a game changer for me and I love it’s easy to use layout and it most definitely makes my hectic life just a little easier to juggle.

$50 to get the editing that is already in iOS!

So I just bought this program available on all platforms. So far the iPad version is nothing more than a file manager that Apple's Files app already does, and a PDF editor that Files also already does. Unless I am missing something, THIS IS A RIPOFF.

OK, the MacOS version does have more features. I used it to compress a PDF of a scanned multi-page document from 18MB to 1.2MB. If they add functionality like that to the iOS version great, but there is currently NOTHING in the iOS version that can’t be done with a PDF via Apple's Files program.

Nonsense Cloud

Why does everyone and their dog believe we want yet another cloud storage specific for their app?

Either offer a generic cloud storage solution (iCloud, pCloud, oneDrive, NextCloud, etc.) or simply write an app that uses Apple’s APIs to interface to compliant services.

I’m sick and tired of each app trying to push their own cloud storage solution, with all the related security implications and potential for losing data by means of some non-giant company going bankrupt.

If you’re not a major storage company with deep pockets, and offer a generic solution, you basically have no business being in the cloud business.

Rewrite your app so it simply uses Apple’s API and defaults to iCloud storage, and I’ll have another look. Being pushed into some silly proprietary cloud storage => deleted UPDF .

No FAQ or User Guidance

I just downloaded UPDF to switch out a logo on a document. The document is stored on my phone. There are no FAQs or instructions for UPDF. I see no way to open my document in its current location on my phone or to move it into UPDF itself.

Perhaps UPDF has great features. I’ll never know since I can’t figure out how to open the document. Perhaps I’m clueless! But even clueless people need to edit pdfs. I’m deleting UPDF now.

Could be Great but it has deficiencies

Overall it’s a good app. However in IOS is not integrated with “files” app, for example when highlighting , it does not modify the original document. On the other hand, in MAC it does not include the AI option and it’s not integrated with the Touch Bar. When these deficiencies are corrected I’ll give it 5 stars

Updated and it took away the best features

So I used to be able to search for key words within a file, markup the file without a keyboard or tool bar taking up majority of the screen, and pull files from any device. Legit can’t do any of that anymore. Those were the only reason I got UPDF. It’s not worth it now

Ridiculous cash-grab

UPDF is basically a disappointing preview that may trick you into accomplishing something— just for you to realize none of your progress mattered unless you pay for it. You can’t save, download, or export your progress; many of the features will be missing; any amount of work you’ve done will be automatically erased if you minimize UPDF for long enough (maybe 20 minutes… think, a phone call came in and you had to take it).

UPDF is worthless until you get through their paywall… and even then, I can’t vouch for how much better it may be— as my experience, being consistently disappointed, hasn’t justified paying them a single cent. A lot of incredibly basic features, such as changing the font size after typing into a document, weren’t even options; it’s not promising.

The app I needed in my life

So UPDF is the most simple app I have ran across. I haven’t had to purchase anything, I am able to upload any files that I download from Pinterest, and doodle on the image as I please, and save it to my files, I am also able to open PDF files without any trouble, all for free. Love love love.

Good option

Has a lot of useful tools, on the PC sometimes runs slow when I need to write notes on the drawings, even using a powerful PC or M2 pro, seems to need more optimization on that side, but the version for iPad works fine.

Still a good app

Needs some work

Finally an offordable PDF tool to rule them all!!

I have searched high and low for years to find the perfect PDF tool that wouldn't cost a monthly fee but yet offered a lifetime option. Well, I finally found it with you this app!!!

This tool has lived up to all my expectations, and I am happy to say I finally found a PDF tool for life. whether you're looking for a monthly subscription or a lifetime perpetual license this app is the perfect tool. I have tried them all, and this is the one for me.

Thank you so much to the developers for creating this software, now if I could just find a lifetime AI lol.

Great alternative to acrobat pro

I was looking for an alternative to acrobat pro when I came across this app. It has all the features plus and the cost is much more reasonable. Very happy with it so far.

UPDF is a time saver!

this app Pro saved me a lot time with their batch feature while editing PDFs. It super user friendly and it kept the integrity and formatting of my documents.

Easy to use

Very intuitive did not need a tutorial to understand how to use it.

Offers a lot of Great Features.

This is a great alternative to the larger PDF editors companies. The system is easy to use, feature rich and works across all platforms at a very reasonable price.
