I upgraded to the new Wiz app v2, My save schedules do not function in version 2. I have tried creating a new schedule/ event and that does not work either. When I initiate the create button I receive a text bubble the says, "Unknown issue occurred Something went wrong, please try again" If I try again the same thing happens over and over. Last night I tried chatting with support, that was useless. The support person disappeared from the conversation. I was asked to provide the home id and MAC, which I did. If I delete the v2 and reinstall the original app my schedules work. I was also asked to provide a screen shot of the problem I did and received no response for the service tech, not a thanks, or I received it, nada.

Lights constantly lose connection, and I have to restart the app (sometimes multiple times) to regain the connection. You have to ensure a 2.4ghz wireless connection to pair bulbs, but many modern isps don’t offer that distinction or control over which bandwidth you can select. Right now, one bulb won’t pair so I’m having to contact support AGAIN (last time all my bulbs wouldn’t work because they were trying to do a firmware update that took weeks to finish and one of their suggestions was to just buy new bulbs lol), the chatbot asks for the error description, but the app won’t show that information to me, it just gives me a red exclamation mark and the option to contact support. I’m getting very tired of sitting in the dark, spending an hour or more troubleshooting my dang lightbulbs. I’m about to just light a candle. Avoid WiZ!! Get Phillips hue or something else that’ll just work without the headache

I installed this app about five days ago and so far, I haven’t been able to figure it out. Well, the idea of the Circardian cycle seems appealing. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have the option to turn off the lights completely at night one possible solution to this I thought it would be to create a schedule on top of it. However, the way schedules are set up. It’s not intuitive. One would think that there would be an easier way to turn lights off. However, the way scheduling is set up toggles lights off at the end of the schedule. So you need to overlay the schedule with the cicardian rhythm. Anyway. Same exact setup for 3 different rooms and I get different results in each one of them.
This app turns something as easy as turning ON and OFF a light into something impossible.

I was actually surprised at the high review this got. Has to be the manufacture reviewing itself… thing is super under engineered.. bought one of the wifi A19 bulbs and paired it up with their motion sensor which is bluetooth, very disappointing. What will happen is that all the system is completely useless if you turn the lights off via a switch.. these seem to be only designed if there isnt any wall switch in the room… the general rule of thumb is that even with a light switch turned off there is still some kind of voltage leak. Had they make it where that can power the wifi module in the light consistently then that wouldve made for too much sense, but if you turn the switch off you turn the app off which in turn turns the motion sensor off… not very well thought out.
