Here are some helpful workarounds that should work whenever Octi app keeps crashing or doesn't work as expected on your iPhone 14, 13,12,10,8,7,6, SE,XS,XR.

How to fix Octi app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Octi app on iPhone
Update Octi app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Octi iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Octi on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Octi network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, Goto "Settings" » "General" » "Reset" » "Reset Network Settings".
2. Enter your device passcode. Then confirm "Reset Network Settings".

Turn off your VPN:
1. Goto "Settings" » "General" » "VPN".

Fix Octi not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Follow these steps to resolve intermittent Octi app issues:

Force Stop the Octi App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click Octi app. » click "Force Stop".

Update Octi to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Octi App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "Octi app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch Octi.

Fix Octi unable to contact server/ Octi internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click Octi » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got Octi » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Octi on android.
