I cannot open “hitrecord” on my iPhone anymore or access my account or anything! It insists that I update it BUT when I do, Apple warns that it’s no longer in App Store so there’s nothing I can do?!

About this app

Started by acclaimed actor (and closet drummer) Joseph Gordon-Levitt more than 10 years ago, this app is a positive community, a radically inclusive production company, and a platform for collaborative creativity. ■ Collaborate on Short Films, Short Documentaries, Animated Shorts, Songs, Audio Stories, Illustrated Stories, Photo Series, or Customize your own project. ■ Project Tools help break down your process into manageable Steps, gather Contributions, Update your collaborators, and celebrate your finished piece. ■ Download anything.  Our community has won an Emmy for our variety show this app on TV, screened short films at Sundance, published books with Harper Collins, partnered with non-profits like the ACLU and the National Parks, produced a commercial that played on the World Series, and of course, more!  If and when any production makes money, contributors are paid through our unique, personal, and transparent payment process.  Being an artist on this app is not about getting Likes or amassing Followers.  Everything is up for grabs to be remixed. ■ Contribute to high-profile productions.  It’s about the joy of the creative process itself.  Social networks do not have to be popularity contests.  Digital technology can bring us together to accomplish things we couldn’t do alone.
