Still many bugs

Notifications are 30min delayed most of the time or watch is unresponsive

Being able to communicate with kid is great but location tracking and notifications are not reliable enough right now, hopefully will be fixed soon. Idea is great for kids that should nit have a cell phone yet.

Not reliable

We were excited to get this watch for our 10 year old son so that he could call & text us, and we could see his location. However, calling only works occasionally even when fully connected with internet and texting is challenging as there is no alert. If we need to communicate with each other, we cannot count on the watch. We pay the monthly fee for service, but we don’t get serviced well. We will look for another alternative.

Disappointed

We purchased this watch for Christmas. Two days later we are still waiting to hear back from customer support. Do not purchase this for a Christmas or birthday. You will have a very disappointed kiddo. Too many bugs. COSMO crashes. And you cannot pair. Good concept. Unfortunately it doesn’t actually work. Which tells me if I actually needed this to know where my child is in an emergency situation. I would be better off with another product I can trust.

Honestly super useful

COSMO is probably one of my more heavily used apps on my phone at this point. Love that I can see my kids locations on the map and call/text them from the same app! Highly recommend parents with kids in the age range of 5-10 use this, thank me later

Great app for a wonderful kids smartwatch! Great customer service and I highly recommend this app for your kids new smartwatch! I have 3 of these and they are exactly what I was looking for, kids love them, easy to use and very accurate!

Mapping is Terrible

The active mapping hasn’t worked since day one. This is absolutely terrible. The watch is sitting in the other room and the active map shows he’s over a mile away at Walmart! If you are wanting to have a watch to track your child’s location then this isn’t it.

Safe Zones are a joke

First off, the watch is ok… that’s why the 2 stars. If you have decent T-mobile coverage in your area it can make and receive calls from the 10 contacts you choose for your child. Note: only “Guardians” can text and have to do it from within COSMO. My gripe is with COSMO. The “Safe Zones”, which is the main reason I got the watch, don’t alert you soon enough if your kid leaves a zone. I get an alert 15 minutes after my kid leaves a zone… 10 minutes if I’m lucky. That would not be cool if it were an actual emergency and he was taken. I was hoping an update would fix but it doesn’t appear to be happening. COSMO doesn’t always work either and the live tracking isn’t that great. I’m very glad I didn’t prepay for a year, or worse 2 years, of cell coverage. I suggest going the month to month route if you really must try it but if I were you, I’d look elsewhere. I plan on investing a little more money and getting my kid the low-end Apple Watch with cellular coverage.

It’s a Good Watch!

What I dislike about the watch is that you can only Text Guardians. Especially since every contact is approved by parents, it’ll be nice if they could text their other contacts! My kids have the same watch and they can’t even communicate(text/call) at all with each other. I just got my son the junior track 2 SE and I don’t see the difference with that and the Jr Track 2. The location tracking works fine for me so far. Bottom line is I can communicate with my children just fine. So no complaints there!

Helps me feel a better knowing I can contact my son.

The watch works as good as cell phones through t-Mobile work. Not great in the area where we live, but it’l do. I like that we can communicate back and forth, but really do wish that all approved contacts were able to text with him too.

I would really like to see an Apple Watch app developed so that I can communicate and see my son’s location using only my watch, but I’ll have to just make sure I always have my iPhone with me.

Crashes often, unreliable app and device

My son has had his watch for only one week, and I’m already regretting that I signed up for six months of service. COSMO crashes or freezes when retrieving text messages. The calling feature didn’t work for the first two days. After I spent 30 minutes on the line with tech support, it now works about half the time. The other half of the time, the watch face freezes or we get a “the number you have called is not in service” message. We purchased this watch to provide peace of mind. Instead, it has provided only frustration.

Absolute Waste

I got two watch phones for my kids and neither really work. They were a nightmare to activate. They hardly connect to the phones when I try to call them. I can’t hear them and they can’t hear me (if it ever connects the call). The battery life is such that it runs out before the school day is over. It’s just a joke of a phone. I can’t believe they would sell devices and service this poor.

DON’T GET THIS APP

Worst thing! While sitting on the kitchen counter with child at school COSMO sent out SOS to all guardians who PANICKED as this child was abducted before and missing for a year. This is why we bought the device. So I answered panicked relatives! As detectives have alerted us to the abductors location may be near. This people is some serious stuff! Now to the lesser evils. It will not set to our time zone so we cannot use the school mode or alarms. Our time zone is available but an hour off. Thus in church this Sunday she is in class and her Jr. Tracker alerts “it’s time to go to church”. Customer service! Such a JOKE. ON to the GPS! With the child in the same home with me I checked location and it should Gymnastics two hours ago. Refreshed and it showed the same thing. You will get to know old man Charley and Tony the guy with the dialect you have to keep saying “what was that you said” very well. As that is the only customer service number offered. And they know NOTHING! Just to refer you to contact this app through COSMO . You will receive an automated message from this app that they will get back to you, “their valued customer in 24 to 48 hours. Meanwhile this morning the random SOS alerts are going out without touching the device. I begged they call me hours ago but nothing. So think long and hard about getting the this app Jr. Tracker. It was not easy to activate and T-mobile their carrier charged me an activation fee. 🤦‍♀️ The Jr. Tracker works when it wants to. You will see in the manual that most issues are solved by restarting the device. Which you better teach your child how to do as it has to be done often. And no it doesn’t stay charged as long as it says it will. Their rating should be a big fat Zero. And it says no contract needed. Yes you have to do at least 6 months with T-mobile. I could go on and on. If you have a child at risk splurge for something better. I’m shopping again.

Not reliable!

The watch is good and build strong .
The connection is terrible
You can’t always make out going calls or receive calls. Calls get dropped or it never dials out.
And when you can make or get a call it’s all choppy and echoes. Super annoying!
Getting in touch with a customer service rep is impossible. If you’re lucky after 100000 days of trying it’s via text and they just tell you to turn off the device and start it back up or trouble shoot it.
That will work for a day if that. But the actual problem of not being able to make or receive calls properly is still there!
This watch should be more reliable seeing that it’s to provide my child with a way to communicate when outside the home incase of any danger or emergencies. And the GPS is close but not accurate.

So frustrating

I highly recommend finding another watch carrier for kids. This has been a headache. Long before I ordered the watch I called customer support for questions. It took 40 minutes.

Now I’m here with a watch that does not want to pair, an app that doesn’t register given information. Such a pain.

GARBAGE TOTALLY UNRELIABLE

Save yourself the worry and aggravation….DO NOT BUY this product….it does not work at all and is extremely unreliable, inaccurate and the battery life is horrible. If I could give NO STARS I would!!!

Trash!

COSMO & watch is trash. GPS doesn’t accurately update my child’s location. App doesn’t track steps even though it’s a function. Battery life barely makes it through a school day.

Absolute JUNK

COSMO is beyond awful. Showing my child 2 miles away at random houses. Gives me the spinning wheel of death when trying to load my sons texts or voice messages to me. I should have listened to the reviews and bought the Apple Watch. Also, the cell service is $19 per month!!! What a joke, this company is ripping parents and families off. Sending this product back and saying BYE. So much for a cool and useful Christmas gift.

Issues with adding contacts.

Right off the bat I’m having issues adding contacts. The save button doesn’t add anyone else. I was able to add 1 guardian and 1 contact, but now I can’t add anyone else.

Unresponsive staff and watch

Google rating for this app is starkly different than the rating in the apps. Tons of issue. They got my money so no one will call back. Tons of issues.
Issues
1) call cannot be completed
2) sometimes it says it doesn’t pair
3) once safety zone is place trying to remove enabling for kids to use on vacation days doesn’t work
4) if you turn watch off an then back on it says no sims card and no way to fix it. Then out of the blue an hour later it works.
5) No one to talk to about these issue. Left messages. It’s Dec 27. What am I paying for? This is how they make their additional money in monthly fee fir a each watch that Doesn’t work not even 90% of the time.
Very frustrating and if it continues where I’m not getting a call in 24hr I will do a product review on Tic Toc ,YT , google as well as Facebook. Not right that no one is returning my calls. I need answers and so does many family here. Very disconcerting that this watch is advertised “ to keep children safe” and no one returns call to ensure the watch can do exactly that. - very upset and frustrated.

Useless

On hold now for an hour can not get thru to anyone and the time window to reach customer service is limited…. App has not updated my Childs location in over a week. We are not receiving each other’s messages in the last week. I have added contacts thru COSMO for him and his watch has not updated the contacts added in over a week. I had gotten him this watch for Christmas and so far only worked for 3 days and hasn’t worked properly since.

I purchased this watch as a Christmas gift. We activated it a few days after Christmas. After dropped calls, inaccurate location of child and poor battery, I decided to cancel this app and return. But wait! It was just outside of the 15 day return window so I am stuck with a the prepaid 6 month contract. Run far away.

So. Slow.

COSMO for sure needs some updates. I came to COSMO Store to see if I missed an update and that’s why my experience hasn’t been great. My son went across the street to the park, when I went to text him, his location showed a mile the opposite direction (outside of his safe zone). I also get notifications that he is outside of his safe zone when he’s in his room. If he sends me pictures, they don’t usually load (the camera was the main reason I chose this app over other similar products). Opening COSMO to text is downright painful; it takes a minute or so to let me tap into his contact. In a techy world, and usually in the case of needing to communicate with your child, a minute isn’t really acceptable. Hope they fix these bugs.

Terrible app

Bought the watch a few days ago. Can’t really hear my child when he calls me and the messages get stuck and don’t download. I’ve had to delete and download COSMO almost every day. Would not recommend

STOP!! You are looking for the GIZMO watch, not this app. This has been an unreliable mess from the start. The tracking is NEVER real time, the calls drop CONSTANTLY, it’s atrocious. If the watch gets slightly wet it stops charging. Their service is garbage, if it went off our Verizon service the issues would be tolerable, but it isn’t because they don’t. Please don’t blow your money. In this economy??? There’s a hundred different ways to track your kids, this is the worst of them.

So it’s so good but it needs a keyboard setting because you know how in Apple Watch how u write a text the keyboard is more easier to text or type so I thing u should add the feature to all the this app watches
