The user interface is so clean and easy to use. I’m brand new to crypto and NFTs, so I wasn’t sure how to actually buy cryptocurrencies securely. I downloaded GameStopWallet , made my account and got my private key, then bought $40 worth of ethereum to get started. There were 2 options to buy ethereum via Ramp or Wyre. I chose Wyre. I used my visa credit card to buy it. Total fees to set up my wallet and buy the ethereum came to $5.08. Most of that was the one-time fee to set up my wallet. Now I’m done and ready to go! I can go shopping on the GameStop NFT Marketplace! GameStopWallet lets you set up Face ID for extra security when you open the wallet, instead of a password, which is nice.

As someone passionate about direct registering shares (DRS) of my stockholdings in my own name -via transfer agents like ComputerShare-rather than my broker's, I am ecstatic that I now have the opportunity to likewise secure my crypto assets, via GameStop's self-custodial ethereum wallet.

Like the DRS process for stocks, storing my crypto in my GameStop wallet-rather than on an exchange or with a broker-safeguards me against the predatory actions of crypto "exchanges" (such as FTX) and stock brokers. For example, it guarantees-like the DRS process-that I actually receive the assets that I purchase, instead of merely receiving an IOU from my "exchange" or broker.

Again like the DRS process, it also prevents anyone from allocating my assets elsewhere without my permission, a practice recently spotlighted by the collapse of FTX (whom transferred customer assets to fund the external Alameda organization) but is also routinely conducted by stock brokerages (whom lend their customers' shares to short sellers that decrease their price).

Thank you, GameStop, for providing me the means to be self-custodian of my crypto assets.

Being able to use the LoopRing network is huge. The fees are pennies and it’s incredibly fast, while being secured by the Etherium network.

Now with the IMX network soon to come, we’re finally going to be able to buy and OWN in game cosmetics, which we can then trade freely without any kind of in game marketplace. All of those hours in games can actually be worth something soon, it’ll be incredible for when you are “done” and want to move away from playing video games. No more sunk cost fallacy, you just sell all your assets and sail into the distance.

The future of digital ownership is looking bright as companies like GameStop work to deliver it to us with this seamless app.

I’ve become all too aware of how much money I’ve poured into restrictive licenses for assets when companies—no matter how large—are always at risk of going under and taking our stuff with them. I’m excited to truly own my digital assets, rather than just an expensive, conditional rental.

Really love the look and feel of managing my digital assets (NFTs and cryptocurrencies). I’ve used Trust for mobile and Metamask for browser and it seems no other wallet has nailed the user experience quite like the GameStop wallet. It’s very intuitive and user friendly - swapping layers, buying with credit/debit card, and scrolling through or reading the descriptions and metadata for my NFTs. And it’s self custodial? Giving me the freedom to be my own bank in such a simple and eye candy way? This is the gold standard for self custodial wallets. 10/10

Absolutely top-notch wallet with sleek and simple user interface. The GameStop wallet allows you to be the custodian of your own digital assets - in other words, own your own coins (rather than letting a company own them for you). The GameStop wallet allows those who have their funds in wallets such as Coinbase, Metamask and wish to be their own custodian an alternative, where you can restore your rights and truly own your crypto. Clever infrastructure/back-end powered by Loopring allows for super low fees and easy maneuverability amongst Layer 2s and decentralized applications.

As a Loopring L2 wallet user, I could not believe just how inexpensive (17 cents as of this review) and simple the experience is to set up the GameStop Wallet.

If someone were to ask me to recommend a DEX (own your crypto) wallet, I would hands-down tell them to start here.

I hope GameStop will offer a credit/debit card with rewards in the future, so I can retire my Coinbase account (CEX). I love the idea of being my own bank, so maybe the waller will offer interest-generating features in the future as well?

Outside of direct registering my GameStop shares with Computershare, I have a feeling this is going to be the best way to manage my funds and assets in the future. GameStopWallet is seamless, simple and beautiful. It only took me about 5 minutes to recover my wallet and get it activated. I’m looking forward to seeing how GameStop uses this wallet for future video game and potentially stock NFTs.

Im a huge fan of the company and the direction its heading in, but I’m just not able to use GameStopWallet at all due to my phone’s/GameStopWallet ’s resolution.
I use an iPhone 7 on ios 15.7 and when attempting to import my wallet, GameStopWallet cuts off the button to confirm my private key/seed phrase, making it impossible for me to do anything. When trying to create a new wallet I am unable to interact with anything besides the terms and conditions and the x in the top right, because again, everything else is cut off. The resolution cuts off the 3 infographics on the home screen as well.

I’d love to update my review once these major issues get fixed

I’m very new to the world of crypto, nft, blockchain. Part of it was the mystery of how to track or keep track of it all. It seemed like more of an idea. The GameStop wallet puts it into a secure location that is extremely user friendly. Looking forward to explore it more. As of right now it’s amazing. Once I’ve really interacted with buying and storing my NFT’s here and using crypto, I will change my review if it’s not up to snuff. At this point it does exactly what I was looking for in the nft/crypto world.

Incredible. GameStopWallet truly changed my life, this is possibly the most useful app I've ever used, no, this is the most useful thing in the history of the planet. Every man, animal and plant should worship the ground at your feet, I only wonder what they’ll do next.

Not only can I manage my wallet with ease and trust, I can also exchange and swap to countless different crypto. It’s such a robust and it’s better than any other wallet I’ve ever used. Everyone should use this.

It’s version 1 and it’s already superior to meta mask in that it is non custodial. Can’t wait for it to be connected to the GameStop Marketplace and eventually add additional interactivity features with the NFTs. My big hope is that we also get seamless p2p trading with marketplace as the intermediary escrow. Not everything needs to be listed on exchange and sometimes we want to trade pictures for pictures ya know? Not eth. All that said GameStopWallet blows me away. Can’t stop. Won’t stop.

Under the terms of service, GameStop or GME Entertainment cannot take any of “Your Content” or restrict it for any reason. They didn’t have to add this, but they did. GME wants to show their consumers that with their platform, we truly do own our assets. This will prevent anything like FTX from happening again. GME is decentralized and this allows content to truly be owned by the creator and not some corporation. GME is the vessel for which this can happen. Todays the dayyyy!

What a fantastic crypto wallet! What’s not to like? Set up is extremely easy even an ape could do it. Functionality is top notch. Clean UI, quick on-ramp capability with ramp or wyre, easily selectable L1 or L2, and immutableX soon. The ability to easily view your holdings, collections, and transaction history. I love things that are self-custodial and I love when I can actually self manage things I buy with my money. A lot like buying shares directly in my name instead of relying on brokers to have my shares in street name and not directly tied to my name and belonging to me.
Through GameStop’s business and technology makeover they are among the first to give everyone the means to be self-custodial of their crypto assets. It makes me extremely bullish on what the future holds for this company.

So glad to see the Gamestop Wallet available on iOS. After already having several other mobile wallets, GameStop’s is the winner when it comes to ease of use and interface—with a clear emphasis on approachability for people new to owning a wallet. Built-in on ramping makes buying ETH a snap, and with its built in L2 technology, transactions fees are as cheap as they come. Excited to see where things go from here!

I’ve been wanting a long time for GameStopWallet to come to iOS and it’s been worth the wait. Better to delay and have a finished product than rush something to market that isn’t ready. GameStopWallet bridges the gap to complicated crypto markets and simplifies the process immensely. Truly the everyday man’s crypto app. I’m very excited for the future of this marketplace with GameStopWallet at the center, always leaving your assets a click away.

GameStops transformation from a brick and mortar store to Blockchain has been nothing short of extraordinary.

The smooth UI of this wallet, mixed with ability to purchase crypto with Apple Pay directly to a level 2 network is absolutely stunning.

Gamestop’s wallet has all the makings of becoming the go to wallet (paired with their NFT marketplace) for beginners of crypto and experts alike.

They have said they are working on including all the features of a browser wallet that will include:
-multiple other networks such as IMX
-connecting to decentralized Apps using WalletConnect
-and even possibly buying and selling NFT’s through GameStopWallet .

This is huge leap in technology, and GameStop has built a wonderful wallet that I think will be the flagship of blockchain games for years to come.

This is the official app and so far no issues in recovering my wallet from browser. Clean look and navigation is easy to use. Has most of the browser features integrated already. Only issue with GameStopWallet , is I can’t seem to view all my NFTs purchased on the GameStop Marketplace. There’s no slider or folder to view other Collections that I own. I expect a future update to address this small inconvenience.

The best wallet for those new to crypto that Ive found.

Unlike other wallets (MetaMask) that track your ip, this wallet doesn’t. It is non-custodial of course. GameStop wants to bring Power to the Players, Creators, and Collectors so they arent trying to take your assets. It also has the fastest, cheapest on-ramp for funds. You can even use credit cards to either L2 (fast) or L1.

The UI is slick and you can view your NFTs through it. You can do P2P payments with QR codes so thats super easy too.

Much like their browser extension, the dev cycle is super fast and they are quick to incorporate user feedback (i.e. folders for nfts; check their twitter), so you can count on it outcompeting other wallets. GameStop is going full-steam-ahead, so dont miss the train!
