Buyk - Grocery Delivery Reviews

I found out a this app opened right across the street so I placed my first order and it was delivered within 10 min, two days later same thing and we were very pleased. Go to place 3rd order and will not process. Called customer service many times and they are polite but don’t know how to handle any problems. They referred it to the IT team who said my account is blocked for security purposes and if I want to know why I should read the terms of service which I did and I have done absolutely nothing wrong. I’m told they don’t know the reason and they can’t do anything else. There is no supervisor to talk to either. So no one knows how to help customers with a problem. So you would rather lose a customer than correct your mistakes? not good business and will be letting friends know not to use.

this app is literally a dream come true. A delivery service with no delivery fee that delivers a variety of everyday items to your door in 15 mins. I've been using this service for a few weeks now, and they have always kept their 15-min promise. What I like most about Buyk is the wide selection of goods and the price point. I hope this app has a bright future and continues to expand. One more thing - thanks for enabling the tip feature at checkout.

The service provided by Buyk is great. I was skepyical at first but surprisingly I always receieved all my orders in less than 15 mins.

The only grudge I have with Buyk is that at times a lot of items are out of stock. I believe that could improve with number of stores incrwasing in the area.

I have used Fridge No More, Gorillas, and this app, and this one is by far the worst in NYC. Not once have the items in my order been correct. There is always a mistake that takes 10 minimum days to refund/correct and they never even offer to send the right item. You have to hound them for the refund too even though they consistently send the wrong things and only tell you after the fact that something you ordered is sold out. Customer service is difficult to get in touch with too. Really stick with the other services if you want anything reliable!

My first ever order was great, super quick, easy. Great prices for a delivery app too. Only issue came with my second order. Ended up in a bit of a pinch, needed some stuff for dinner after the shops had closed, pulled up Buyk , and couldn’t place the order. Every time I tried to pay, error message. Contacted support, basically told me there was nothing they could do for me, they’d forward the issue to IT. Didn’t even get an apology, though that wouldn’t have helped my empty belly much. No dinner for me.

Living 2 avenues away and having some basic groceries delivered is way too simple! This service is quick and they know exactly what was in my basket. It’s so reliable! They have a great selection of products and brands. The buykers are very nice and are quick to drop off the delivery!

Very fast delivery (between 10 and 15 minutes) and everything was as ordered. But you really need to add an option for tipping the delivery person in Buyk ! As it is, it feels like the early days of Uber, when you had to scrounge in your wallet to put something in the driver’s tip jar just because Uber didn’t want to handle tips.

Have been ordering from all the different quick grocery delivery companies and this app not only is always on time they also have the most curteous and happy delivery team, love it thank you!!! And how are the prices so much cheaper than the grocery store??!

I placed an order and received it within 7 minutes. When I had an issue with my second order, it was rectified very quickly. The items have been fresh as well.

I love this app. Fast, reliable, and easy! Sometimes Buyk doesn’t start up properly but I just close it out and it normally runs fine after that! Deals are insane and delivery is always quick! No complaints here!

Tried this app for the first time last night. Delivery was in FIVE minutes flat. I couldn’t have walked downstairs to the bodega and been back in my apartment that fast. And even with tip, it was cheaper than my bodega!

I ordered my first time and I’ve waited almost over four hours when they stated they would deliver between 15 and 20 minutes. I called customer service and they said it would be delayed for about half an hour. I waited then and it’s still not here. They claim they delivered to the address but it’s not here and they charged my card regardless. Additionally on Buyk it says I didn’t order anything even though I ordered eight items from them.

I promise you guys you will not be disappointed legit anything u want with no minimum limit could even be a piece of candy and will still deliver!.

Love the quick delivery and product options.
Wish there was a way to let customer know that an item was out of stock before being delivered. Also, wish there was a place to leave a review for person delivering.

Customer service is rude and sketchy, they dodge questions and seem like they don’t want to talk to you. They keep advertising $20 off for the first order, but it didn’t work in the cart. When I reached out to customer service multiple times, they told me different things. One told me it was still going on and the other that they had just ended that promo the day before. Very misleading business

It really does always deliver in 15 minutes! My reason for knocking 1 star is that it seems sometimes the items are limited. Which makes sense given how they have to keep a tight stock, but sometimes thinks like banana or milk are unavailable.

They have everything I ever need. They are so quick. Also unlike some of the other services, they offer things like fresh breads!

Buyk is a sham and their customer service is abysmal. I used their service in a pinch due to their advertised 15 minute delivery and did not receive my order until 40 minutes later. The poor courier was also in such a hurry he was practically falling over. This business model is flawed and when I reached out to customer service they offered nothing of substance. I will not be returning to Buyk.

i kept on seeing ads for this service and thought i’d give it a try tonight since i didn’t feel like going out. they give $20 off your first order of $21 dollars or more, which is so amazing!! also my order got deliver right to my door in exactly 15 minutes!!! i really could not believe it. no delivery fees or minimum amount for orders, which is so rare to see in a delivery service especially in NYC where everything is so expensive. as a college student with other responsibilities i don’t always have time to make dinner or go grocery shopping so discovering this service has literally changed everything. i will say there aren’t that many options, ( it may vary by location idk ) but they do seem to have all the basics and essentials along with a bunch of prepackaged ready to eat meals!!

I was actually very excited to try this app out. Especially after seeing all the Ads in many outlets! So I place my first order. After the 15min delivery window. The this app app stated sorry we’re running late but your order is on its way. Then 40 mins late my order was canceled for no reason. I contacted customer service and they said they didn’t have any info on why this order was canceled either and I could go ahead and submit the order again via Buyk … App Blows!

So as instructed by this app I placed another order with them and it’s been an hour and still no delivery.. mind you that between my first order that for no reason was canceled. And now with my second order place. I have been waiting over 2 1/2 hrs for this… NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH Buyk…!!!!!!

Okay what! I got $20 off my first order and $45 off my second order and they truly deliver within 15 minutes. The selection is limited but they cover a lot of basics as well as carry some unique items. I see no downsides.

Amazing! My order came in 11 mins. No items were missing & all items were in excellent condition. They have a great selection between organic and non organic items. Also, you really do get $20 off your first order! Recommending to everyone who orders groceries.

Delivery arrives on time (if delayed, the costumer is informed promptly)

Orders are correct, if any mistakes happen, costumer service is 10/10 and will resolve the problem ASAP.

Have been ordering from this app a few times and it has never arrive under 15 minutes. The average is 20-25+. A big issue is they keep messing up orders which is annoying as it seems their inventory is not well managed within Buyk .

Other issues is packing. I ordered pastries and they brought it in a bag with rice, bottles and other heavy items on top. So I got pancakes.

Just tried it - 15 minutes. Amazing. Biker was so polite. Highly recommend this service when you need something fast.

this app is operating near where I have to walk daily, and today as I was walking by, one of their employees tried to hit on me and then another made racist Chinese remarks towards me by saying “She doesn’t understand, you have to speak in *fake Chinese gibberish.*” I am an American born and raised citizen and English is my first language. This is so unprofessional and now I feel unsafe to be near this company and the rude employees that it has chosen to hire.

Just wanted to give a shout out to all the delivery people for this app. They’ve been so nice and chill - also the prices are so good? I thought it was too good to be true it’s fueling all my desires

I just tried it and the groceries arrived in 11 minutes. I purchased a few different kinds of ice cream, snacks and joghurt. Some of the prices were lower than in the store. What a great service. Love it.
