I’ve never worked with a scheduling software that is in need a so many patches, modules and has so many log-in and update issues. After the most recent AIMS update, all third party apps (which makes using AIMS tolerable) stopped working. I was told to try eCrew and since it’s provided by the AIMS software folks, thought it may work. The constant issues just trying to log-in, lack of customer support, lack of schedule visibility, lack of views that actually work, lack of accuracy unless constantly refreshing, lack of change notifications, etc., etc., etc. Now I understand why companies build their own scheduling platforms and manage them internally. AIMS is not an inexpensive solution for any business and the simple fact they can’t get an app such as this to work correctly, efficiently and user friendly, speaks volumes of the company itself. Especially, when crew members have created third party applications that far outweigh what is offered here, without the financial resources to build them.
Error messages, such as “The input data is not a complete block”. With no way of getting support.

this app stinks, AIMS stinks, and most especially, eCrew stinks. For those of us who work at airlines who refuse to pay for modern, reliable, full-featured scheduling software, we have no choice but to suffer the indignity of using eCrew. As with the other indignities inflicted upon us by our second-tier airlines, the best way to get through it is to have a sense of humor. Contrary to another reviewers’ opinion, the whole situation is best enjoyed as a comedy. Just like certain passenger antics, the absolute ridiculousness of how bad eCrew is can be entertaining with the right mindset.

The old format when logging in from a browser was no much more user friendly, and easier to use. This fancy colorized app takes forever to get the information I need with continual schedule changes.
Please consider have eCrew open on the old format, and let the kids that want to play with apps push a button to switch. I need useable info, not pretty colors and charts.

The last update must be a joke, the new layout is a terrible terrible idea, taking away the old layout that everyone is used to, and not being able to view as before after everyone got used to it is totally unacceptable,
At least bring an option for view layout, not sure who is the genius who thought about it and how did it get approved !!!!!!

App remains buggy, slightly better usage but still a pain.
I have a day off on the 31st. As next month schedule isn’t published and keeps changing, I keep getting notifications of change on the 31st.
And there is no actual change on the 31st, the change is on the 1st, the day after!
Please
Fix it so we don’t have to acknowledge a change when there is no change!
Schedule change is serious matter, it is like acting on a false alarm knowing that it is a false alarm.
eCrew is stuck, no settings access and no calendar upload, while there is a non-acknowledged change. Even when the change is a mistake.

eCrew takes a long time to open and is not user friendly. The old this app app wasn’t great but still way more user friendly than this one. Today it started showing this message when I try to open it “Device registration is not currently available. Please check your internet
connection.” I had a fine internet connection.

The AIMS app has always been confusing and unpleasant to use. The website was satisfactory.
Now, the website is confusing as well since it was recently updated to fix issues nobody knew we had. The previous one was easy, straightforward, and, overall, better.
The former app was terrible. This is just as bad.
No offline capabilities. The roster is challenging to interpret.
I now have to print my roster and highlight the reporting times.
I wish there was an option to have the old website back and that eCrew just showed a plain roster that could be viewed offline.

App crashes, won’t recognize sign in credentials. Face Recognition also quit working. We are in this particular era of technology and I’m not able to access my airline schedule with eCrew. Yes, there are other ways, but then why have an app if it doesn’t work? This thing quit working 2 updates ago and hasn’t worked since!! My .02¢

Nothing new, but after the latest update all duty details are blank when you click on your assignment. It boggles the mind how in this day and age this company won’t employ someone with decent technical skills to make this a functional app instead of the broken, limited function app it is.
by Mr. Highflyer
Another update, another failed attempt to make this crappy app semi useful. As of the last 2 updates I’ve been unable to access this app Portal (Invalid Credentials error) and the limited accessibility to certain functions from my iPhone makes eCrew as much a garbage as it’s always been.
by RMFTRpilot
eCrew updates frequently, and every time it does, it deletes all stored settings…password, calendars, notification preferences, etc. No other apps behave this way.
AIMS / this app is cumbersome, and downright painful to use. Menus are not intuitive, and schedule changes are inconsistent when viewed offline vs online.
AIMS/this app have furthermore removed any ability for external schedule checkers to track schedule changes.
0 stars if I could….

Garbage App
by CapitánBonsai
This is the worst app, I used to view my schedule on iaims but since the last update of aims itself. eCrew doesn't work. Iaims had a simple yet useful and easy way to view schedule, this this app app and the whole aims update is nothing but trash. The new UI is garbage, complicated way to see your schedule with useless information. The constant update when you enter eCrew it's useless, sometimes you just want to see what you had and that's it, you don't need to log in every time you enter eCrew why it can't let you stay logged in and update in the background without messing with what you're looking at.

eCrew is not a tragedy, it’s a comedy. The fact that it exists to the horrid degree that it does makes you wonder what Nigerian prince is running this scam operation of a company. I know without a doubt there are 12 yr olds making better apps. Goes to a traditional site that is no way compatible with the phone or iPad and open trip pickups are next to impossible if more than 10 people are using the site at one time,mThe fact that every user in my company, including crew scheduling, knows it’s garbage but we’re forced to use it is Comedy Gold! I wish I would’ve come up with this scheme.

All the pilots at my airline hate the new updated (~Oct 2022) version of this app. Just put it back the way it was. Pilots hate it but liked the old version. The new version is very awkward and doesn’t clearly provide most of what was easy in the old version. This is the “New Coke” of schedule applications. It was working fine. Changing it was idiotic. All the pilots are urging the airline to dump this app and switch to any other app. Way to drive away your customers guys

I really cannot say if the interface of eCrew works like it does; under the instructions of the company that I work for. (Like tailor made solutions for an specific company) or in general the whole list of airlines need to suffer all the flaws that this new app came with, and even after periodic updates it has not shown significant signs of improvement.
Unfortunately the use of it is not optional it is mandatory.
by Bjgator96
This new this app app has a great workflow and display. It is, however, lacking on the technical/buggy side. About once a week, I must uninstall eCrew from my phone, then re-download and set up again. This appears to be the only fix to the invalid credentials error that happens after about 5 to 7 days. Really frustrating when you are overseas trying to check your schedule.
Please fix!!!!!

Worst App ever, the developers are not even near to the standard that eCrew needed. eCrew is being used by hundreds of e around the world, and it is giving major pain in.. everywhere.
Crappy app, crappy update, so many patches. Patch after patch eCrew is getting worse everytime. NOW I updated it, and cannot log in.
by JDflys
eCrew (and new this app) is absolute flaming hot molten garbage. It’s impossible to use on a mobile device, you can’t pick up trips and it’s TERRIBLE!!!!! Plus it’s not like you have a choice between this and your old this app because your company just decides to randomly change something that worked fine!!!!!!
by Israkmcho
It’s awful to try to use eCrew! It’s very slow, nothing friendly, and when I’m not connected to wifi never shows the information that I need! Even when I'm connected to wifi sometimes not show the information. It is a waste of time!
by Capt. McLeod
There is no reason to use eCrew instead of simply visiting your this app website. eCrew gets updated often and every time it forgets your credentials and you have to rebuild your account. I’ve done that for the last time. I’m just deleting it now.

This really is a horrible app.
- Regularly breaks, requiring re-installation.
- Features break (like download roster for offline use) with no attempt to repair
- U.E. is slow, clumsy and barely fit for purpose.
Devs: if you’re going to do something, do it well or at the very least try
by Treylistenstomusic
eCrew consistently doesn’t work every week. It will say “Invalid Credentials” with the correct sign in information which then requires you do delete eCrew and re-download it.
by RegionalGuy
I’ve been using the this app app for a while now, and unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. eCrew constantly fails, requiring me to uninstall and reinstall it just to get it working again. This not only wastes time but also leads to a lot of frustration.
Recently, I’ve been encountering a persistent issue where eCrew displays “invalid credentials” every time I try to log in. This is incredibly frustrating and renders eCrew unusable. Additionally, it’s baffling that despite my airline being listed in the dropdown menu, I’m forced to use a custom login.
The overall lack of reliability and user-friendliness seriously hampers eCrew ’s effectiveness. I hope the developers take these concerns seriously and work swiftly to address these issues. Until then, it’s difficult to recommend this app to fellow airline professionals.
by Ry*
Needs to worry less about pretty user interface and more about functionality. Have to go to desktop version to get any meaningful info. This new version is a step backwards. I’m sure the airlines using eCrew aren’t paying for my opinion though.

iPhone app no longer has access to calendar. iPad version still able to select calendar.
Upon launching app, app displays settings page rather than my schedule. Uninstalled, restarted phone and reinstalled but no help.
by RMFTR-pilot
Settings and profiles get deleted with every update of eCrew. Also, the events are inconsistent between “online” and “offline” mode.

Hi. Great App, very useful. Any chance you can add a 45min alert time? Should not take too much programming to achieve?
And possibly an export to Google Calender?

Hi Developers!
This is very intuitive and nice looking app! Keep it this way!
Would be nice if you can improve:
1. Scrolling bug issue;
2. Add refresh button, pull to refresh is not handy, since you have to scroll all the way to a beginning of month;
3. Add ability to adjust show up time;
4. Improve overall stability and responsiveness.
