App crashes, won’t even open!
Would give it zero stars but it won’t let me. I’m force to give at least 1 star. TravelWifi no longer works or recognizes my device so pussed I wasted my money to upgrade the sapphire.
Every time I open it TravelWifi crashes and I can’t do anything
Spend $500 on a travel hotspot. Follow setup instructions. “Download Travel WIFI App to link.” Downloads app. App doesn’t work. Just crashes. Looks at $500 brick…. 🤬
I’ve got a Sapphire 2 and app won’t register it when I type in the IMEI. Seems like this is a trend ongoing with this company. Fix asap.
You know it would be nice if I could use TravelWifi without it crashing every 10-15 seconds
Literally TravelWifi is unusable. Can’t reload data and so basically carrying around a useless brick. Fix your app and product people seriously.
TravelWifi knows my this app Sapphire device but possible data plans won’t load. I’m back to using the old Sapphire app.
TravelWifi keeps crashing. It opens goes to the Home Screen then turns off. I have downloaded and deleted numerous times no fix.
TravelWifi does not work. One action within TravelWifi will perform a different task each time. I cannot connect my device to TravelWifi , I cannot pay without trying 5-10 times, and I have no way of knowing when my data plan runs out…

The latest app update is horrible. The user interface is now extremely confusing to use and I can no longer set priority over which data package I have purchased and want to use. This is going to cause me to lose around $50 of unused data. There’s no way around this by going to the desktop website, either. If it wasn’t broken to begin with, then why change out the entire app works? It almost makes me want to stop using this app altogether. If my husband didn’t depend on it for his deployment, we wouldn’t even be using it. As soon as we find a better alternative we will no longer be using because it has just become too difficult to navigate.
Do NOT get the wireless sapphire if you’re living in an area with no windows ESPECIALLY if you’re deployed. I got this to stay out of the heat whenever I wanted to call my family and it only works outside. I talked to the horrible customer service and they confirmed I need a good service and it won’t work if you’re in an enclosed area DO NOT BUY
I downloaded this in Europe to use while away from home. TravelWifi allowed me to purchase a 70gb plan but the plan never went into effect on my sapphire. Tried to use the help setting in TravelWifi and its a dead end because it won’t allow you to type a phone number in and therefore cannot get a representative to talk to. Lost my money, so hopefully my review helps you keep yours.
New updated app is terrible, doesn’t even let you log in when it decides to work. I can’t even get it to open it force quits all the time. I’m so dissatisfied and disappointed in TravelWifi . Not sure how this will affect my upcoming travels. I had bought it last year and did a few Europe trips and it worked great, but since they updated TravelWifi nothing works.
AWFUL!!! What in the world?! The new update is horrific and awful to use. I can no longer set priority over data plans, which stinks because my husband moves quite frequently with his deployments. The old app was great for us, and I do not see the reason for this new complicated update. You’re losing a customer due to the difficult app navigation, lack of description on data plans (like does your Europe’s plan include ALL of Europe???), and lack of control over setting my own dang data priority!
App crashes constantly, nearly impossible to actually order data plans
Their website doesn’t work for buying data so it says go tot TravelWifi but TravelWifi isn’t reliable either. Customer services says try another app but it’s a terrible experience to try and buy data. I wouldn’t have bought their device if I’d known it would be so hard to use.
Since the latest changes TravelWifi has gotten worse. Service connection has gotten worse, and the ability to check data is worse contacting the helpdesk is worse. To type at all if you delete TravelWifi , reinstall or / and factory update your Sapphire the system crashes.
Version 3.0 is a night and day difference ! TravelWifi itself is now clean ,has a better feel and extremely user friendly .
Data consumption now shows as well as the remaining days ! Great job !
Ok I’m not proof reading this don’t got time for all that. Ok this is how y’all use TravelWifi first off don’t use the travel Wi-Fi app to purchase the data. It doesn’t show up it doesn’t show up until ur in the country or just doesn’t work at all. So if u make the same mistake I did go on the website not TravelWifi go to customer service give me the screenshots and let them know but it will show up on TravelWifi . Basically they’ll fix it Jose S help me it was quick and easy. Know from now on when u buy data buy it from sapphire app and make sure u have your sapphire linked. Finally this rating is based off of service and what I went thru and how I got around. I do not know how good the service is. But it’s 4G so maybe good maybe bad😂
