Hi, I received a notification of an update required for my bike when I started the app. I followed the instructions but the process merely generated an error. I now have a small red warning next to the start button. The update is not offered on start -up.

Replaced Ebikemotion app with less capabilities. Overall, not an upgrade. Bad: No navigation, no altitude, no wattage, no Apple Watch option, less engineering data, all Ebikemotion history gone from new app (still available on web acct. Unable to access old Ebikemotion app. Good: Less cluttered Home Screen. Distance remaining with charge. Picture of my Rocky Mountain Altitude!

I understand why the reviews are so bad. Everyone is rightfully disappointed. Imagine spending thousands on a bike and you can’t even sign into the app. Forget the poor UI or loss of features from the transition, I can’t even get to that point lol.
Worst app in all Apple Store?

This app is useless. It constantly takes you to a page with no navigation controls. Forcing you to delete the app from memory and restarting.
Also it has no place to actually update any firmware on anything.
It also has my ebike linked… yet the second page in the app says “no ebike linked to this account”.
Seriously folks, even the smallest amount of testing with a real bike would be useful. As it is, the mahle my-smart bike app useless.
