Replaced Ebikemotion app with less capabilities. Overall, not an upgrade. Bad: No navigation, no altitude, no wattage, no Apple Watch option, less engineering data, all Ebikemotion history gone from new app (still available on web acct. Unable to access old Ebikemotion app. Good: Less cluttered Home Screen. Distance remaining with charge. Picture of my Rocky Mountain Altitude!

I understand why the reviews are so bad. Everyone is rightfully disappointed. Imagine spending thousands on a bike and you can’t even sign into MySmartBike . Forget the poor UI or loss of features from the transition, I can’t even get to that point lol.

MySmartBike is useless. It constantly takes you to a page with no navigation controls. Forcing you to delete MySmartBike from memory and restarting.

Also it has no place to actually update any firmware on anything.

It also has my ebike linked… yet the second page in MySmartBike says “no ebike linked to this account”.

Seriously folks, even the smallest amount of testing with a real bike would be useful. As it is, the mahle my-smart bike app useless.

MySmartBike is terrible. The old app was intuitive, easy to use and showed watts, maps and easily saved my activities. This does none of those things. Bring back the old app!!

Please bring back old app . Lost maps I paid for, no music, can’t even change orientation, must read sideways. Why did you think you needed to change a great app?

MySmartBike is crap! Nearly impossible to log in. It won’t connect to my bike anymore. The old app was fine. If it doesn’t get fixed soon I will be switching bike brands.

Got my bike out for a first ride in March, discovered that the ebike motion app no longer works. Was directed to MySmartBike which won’t even download. Thanks for ruining my day.

Junk it and start over.

MySmartBike replaces emotion app for Mahle bike controls. It is so glitchy it is totally useless. Please return old app!

How does a bike that sold itself on being connected to an apple watch, then pretend that we should go out and buy some exercise band!?! So this is a Radioshack bike good for one season, please no excuses this ridiculous. Not as ridiculous as Android but close.

The only reason I use this is to see what level of pedal assist I am using.
Even that is hard as the alpha numeric font is so small.
The color code between 2 and 3 are orange and red respectively, when riding in the sun hard to tell the difference.

Not so much incremental improvements, but simply a different app. Gone are onscreen info on watts (which I really liked), altitude, maps! Navigation? Can’t find it. And it doesn’t look like I can go back to the original ebikemotion app.

But screen is brighter and less cluttered…

MySmartBike thinks my bike is a different bike (but made by the same OEM). It was correct in the ecobikemotion app and I would like to be able to change or override. I hope they work through issues like this. I already read about the progress on navigation forthcoming so I will not comment on that here with the expectation that follows.

Useless! Have to log in again time after time. Have to link bike each time. Does not remember trips. I hate it! So dissappointed I just ride without it so never know speed, capacity, distances, etc. So, useless, such a shame. New app needed asap!

My Garmin 830 with Bluetooth capability gives me just enough information. I hate the idea of riding with my iPhone in the handlebars anyway.

I can’t believe I can’t link to Apple Watch or it seems connect with apple health. Doesn’t seem useful at all

Mahle App is just appalling. Most times it wont even connect to the bike. The app has the feel of still being in development. NOT the quality you expect.

I have a Cannondale Neo SL2. The stated mile range is 47 mi. When I installed the new My SmartBike app it said on a full charge that I had a 35 mi. range. I went on a bike ride on a pretty level area for 10 miles only using level 1. It said I used 17% of the battery, which at that rate would give me a range of 58 miles. So, the mileage range display doesn't seem very accurate.
