First of all, I really do like it. It helps to defeat the great Backlog Beast, and is overall pretty polished.

My main gripe is that it feels empty and isolated. Maybe a contact sync feature? Themes and custom backgrounds would be nice, too. An option for the share feature to be a image instead of text would be good for easy twitter sharing. Oh yeah, support for VR platforms as well.

I’m sure I have more in me… Hm, how about an in-app suggestion box? And before I finish, are you anywhere online, social media that we can follow or anything for updates?

MyGamesDatabase needs to have landscape mode and a way to scan upc codes for data entry. It would make it much more useful. And by now, there must be a huge database of cover art out there. Look at services like Roon and Discogs for music. Great examples. Then simply build up the game list to include everything from desktop games to Intellivision to PS5 and possibly board games. It would only make sense. As a collector of multiple platforms, I have yet to find a real deep database for games that has everything since the first Atari system to modern day and that doesn't rip you off with monthly fees.

Let me be clear: I really enjoy MyGamesDatabase. It’s simple, easy to use, and has a lot of charm. Most games, official or fan made, can be found here. MOST games. Maybe I am wrong, but I have not found a single Game Boy Color game on here. Game Boy and GBA games can be found, but nothing for the GBC. In addition, there are no GBA Video cartridges that can be logged. Some GameCube games are missing, among other games from most consoles, but the majority of games can be found. I just wish there was more support for tracking retro games.

I never write reviews for apps or really anything. But MyGamesDatabase is the most helpful stream lined thing I’ve ever used. It’s incredible. I use it almost daily!!

I regret starting to put my collection in MyGamesDatabase. If I knew of the limit, I woyld have never wasted my time putting a fraction of my games in there. MyGamesDatabase also does not allow you to note multiple copies, has a lot of holes and fails to let you sort your collection by genre or possible players. Some information is just plain wrong. Many games are not presented as being on the system they are on and there are a number of entries that are listed as being on a system that they are not on. Some bootlegs are in their listings.

It’s perfect. The ONLY thing I would add is a way to share your list of games to a friend. Maybe like an option where you hit share, and it puts everything into one list that can be sent out.

App is great but can you please add landscape mode for iPad!? It’s hard using it always in portrait mode. Thanks you!

it’s good and i’m sure it’s getting better. still crashes sometimes like when i try to add specific games like unrailed.

It’s a great app now I can avoid that so I have it scenario in the game store I only wish they had support for ps vita games but maybe in the future

App no longer works properly. Sorting feature is broken, and most games art and details have gone missing once you add them to your collection

This isn’t a bad app it’s just not as good as some of the other apps on the AppStore. 3.5 Stars.

Looks nice overall, but where’s PS Vita?

I can’t play

So I started it up. I did it like usual, but I found out that it was meant for the phone so I had to use it like a phone. Then I went around looking for the games. Exactly when I found one of my games it crashed, or just got me off. But other than that it was great I found many games with few, but known crashes. It also has a wide selection of games which you can add to your database.

I like MyGamesDatabase when it works but twice I’ve had it now loaded with all the games I’m tracking and then it suddenly crashes. Ok no worries I can just open it again… except I can’t. It crashes immediately every time I open it. Have tried turning my phone off and on and it doesn’t fix it. Uninstalling MyGamesDatabase will delete everything and I’ll lose all the games I have saved. This has happened twice now. Not worth investing the time and effort a third time. This is a great app if you don’t care about keeping a running list of the games you are interested in.

So far I like MyGamesDatabase. It has a clean interface and supports multiple gaming platforms. I’m hoping older systems will be added like, nes, snes, Dreamcast, genesis, gb, gbc, gba, n64, GameCube, wii, ps1, ps2, and ps3. I’m sure there are other ones I can’t think of. Also, it would be great to have a notes section for each game. For me personally, I would like to add which pc game store I bought the game from like steam, gog, epic games, origin, Uplay, bethesda, and blizzard.

It’s good but if you can play games on it how do you because I’m confused

This is a good game tracker, but it lacks some important functions.

1. The game list isn’t complete. I cannot track some of the newest games like ‘Playing Kafka’ on iOS. It’s an interesting game, though it’s small and not famous. I also cannot track Half-Life: Alyx.

2. I cannot track the same game on different platforms. Sometimes I buy a game twice due to portability or other reasons.

3. I hope the developer can add a customizable category option so that users can customize their catalog with names like 'wishlist,' 'my favorites,' 'Action,' 'MMORPG,' etc. And of course, it needs a customizable sorting edit function.

Overall, it’s a good game tracker. I really appreciate it. Thank you!
