Manga Max - Read Manga Online Reviews

To start off, MangaMax is very similar to its predecessor, MangaMan, which is great! However, it’s having the same issues that caused MangaMan’s downfall. A lot of titles (specifically Manhwa/Webtoons) have been pulled off of MangaMax or goes from hundreds of chapters to only one. This is really concerning as I really like MangaMax, but I can’t read any of the titles I had bookmarked.
Is there any way to fix this? Or is MangaMax going to be pulled like MangaMan was?

I honestly like MangaMax , it has a better way of showing new titles to read so my concerns of MangaMax are few..first of all , The way you could hold the screen when reading that shows this little option wheel on MangaMan was a nice feature especially when the screen gets blurry it’d 9 out of 10 times worked but on MangaMax it’s gone and that just pains me because I often get a blurry chapter so I just have to sit through there and try to figure out what’s going on with blurred pictures and words… Secondly, the ads after each chapter that I keep getting is a nuisance when reading, I get that you got to make money somehow but on MangaMan you’d see an ad every 5 chapters or so and I had no problems with that..Thirdly, WE NEED A DARK MODE…I get that this is not MangaMan but I’d like it if you’d make it better than that.

The overall experience of MangaMax is very similar to the previous incarnation, MangaMan. This is a plus, but I was confused to see that it automatically applied a Light theme even though I have Dark Mode applied by default on my phone. When I checked in the settings, dark mode is being held behind a subscription paywall of $2.99 a month. This was just very disappointing to see. I can understand a No Ads subscription, but dark mode? Such a simple feature, being locked away?

A shame, really. I’ll come back to MangaMax if dark mode is taken out of the subscription and added back as a basic feature, as it should have been from the start.

MangaMax is pretty so great just like manga man the UI is super easy to navigate. And there’s tons of manga for consumption. The pages load pretty fast and are not blurry plus it’s free; just wow.
MangaMax is awesome and all but lately it’s bee crashing. I’ve done all i can on my part to fix it but it’s still crashing. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it, restarted my phone etc but it just crashes midway.

Im perfectly liking MangaMax the only thing thats bugging me is the premium its a reasonable price for it but i do not want to pay every month, you should put a one time payment for the whole thing? And also notifications for the manga you reading, i feel like it’ll be better with notifications letting us know when each chapter came out!

It’s great to see that Max maintained the majority of the features present in Man. Great variety of sources and great selection of mangas and comics to read.

I’m not sure however, that it will be a good idea to keep the dark mode behind a paywall. It’s great that u added subscriptions, but I believe something like a dark mode is best kept available for everyone.

Overall it’s great to see this back, and am looking forward to all the future updates of MangaMax (especially a notification system, which i think is very much needed).

It was great for awhile but like everyone else commented, it has slowed down for some reason. Also is it possible to have a book layout? I use my iPad mostly and I would love to read the manga in a book format instead of seeing just one page and having the rest of the screen just be black.

I bought into the ad-free option because I use MangaMax enough to warrant it. My only complaint is that I cannot figure out how to add new sources - there seems to be some function to do so but it requires a client ID a which I can’t find. Would give it a 5/5 with this fixed.

MangaMax is awesome I enjoy using it but one of my sources stopped working and nowadays when I go into MangaMax it takes a long time to load sometimes I have to exit MangaMax then enter again in my opinion you need a really good update or make a new app similar but better

MangaMax is great and practically has everything. The only problem I have is that with every chapter comes an ad. It gets annoying after a while so I would really love if the ads could be toned down a bit. It actually discourages me from reading rather than encourage. And I feel like if I’m feeling this way, others probably are too and that’s bad for business imo.

MangaMax is pretty good, the only thing that bothers me is that there isn’t a tab that lets you know what’s has been updated. There should be a tab for latest update for the manga. Besides that it is good, and the ads are kinda of annoying though.

As stated in the title, MangaMax has gotten slow when opening MangaMax but also when trying to look up a manga inside MangaMax .

MangaMax is now my go to for reading manga and manhwa. I was a bit sad when I realized that MangaMax before this one was deleted from MangaMax Store but I’m happy to see that MangaMax has all the same features it makes navigating it easy.

I really recommend this! it doesnt have any weird(henta! etc), for creators of MangaMax, i appreciate u so much, i hope u dont delete MangaMax bc of the view of it just so yk i will always be reading on this :)

I try reading a chapter or two but here and there are pages that won’t load please fix

I love MangaMax. Honestly one of the best apps I’ve used. BUT lately it’s been crashing a lot and it’s running super slow. I might have to start looking for a different app to use.

It’s just like Manga man but a little bit better. I would recommend this to other people. I enjoy reading the mangas in MangaMax

MangaMax is pretty swaggy with the variety and things... but the ads don’t go away after awhile. Nothing major but ...it should be fixed

I love everything but im trying to fake sleep and the light mode is not helping . Please make dark mode free

Terrible. Keep the subscription model for ads but remove it for dark mode and the context menu.

Keep it up and I will I report MangaMax for violating Section 22.3 and 22.4 of Apple’s decoder guidelines.

Honestly it’s awesome I just wish the dark mode was free like it was with manga reader but whatever still good

Don’t get me wrong I love MangaMax I’m giving it a bad review so it isn’t popular and get taken down
