Litres: Books and audiobooks Reviews

A very convenient book reading option while traveling. Only certain titles are available as gift for multiple purchase (very inconvenient) and sometimes the downloads are not going straight forward. Overall, a good application with sufficient information: readers reviews, authors resume/publications (not all authors have it) and citations. It would be good to have a bigger sample of the book, since sometimes the language is so suboptimal that I have to stop reading and archive the book.

Litres is great and very handy. I purchase a lot of books from this app and it is very convenient to be able to read whenever and wherever you want. Sometimes it has some minor glitches, but overall 5 stars! Keep on going!

I had used the website before to purchase books but Litres makes it even easier to read while on the go as well as save titles or authors I am recommended but have not yet committed myself to read.

I do not understand why there are two apps. I love to listen and read books using these apps. But yes Litres requires improvements. For example: I reboot my iPhone and after that all my books are gone. Or when I drive I love to listen a book, but all of sudden it requires internet, even though I know I downloaded it. Still it is good to have it.

Great app, big variety of books, but it keeps throwing me off the book I’m currently listening to. It keeps opening the text book while I’m listening to another audio book. So frustrating!! Please fix it. Other than that - great app.

Great app. I find everything I need to read. I still download to my e-reader primarily, but the interface of Litres is convenient nonetheless. Just not my preference in general to read on the phone.

Overall this is a good app but their pricing policy is make me not to want to use it. In app purchases are around 2 times higher. What should I do? I can buy through website every time that will make it inconvenient for me. If this doesn’t change, I’ll switch to something else.

One of my favorite apps ever, too bad there is a restriction due location and I only can read books in Russian

The site makes errors. You place an order for your audio book and it is in your cart, check 3 times before you place out or download it. It switches to read only and then you can’t return it. And the visto service is baaad!

It appears they may have some sort of a leak or something of your payment info. Make sure to not provide them your credit card information. I got charged three times last hour for no reason. Trying to dispute that with Bank, Merchant and will try with Apple.

Great app in terms of Books! selection and quality. But…Litres twice scammed me (didn’t let to download gift for multiple purchases), subscription gifts are terrible. So unsubscribed

Overall Litres for audio books is good. Design, features - have no issues there.

On the downside, I have issues returning to the spot where I left, app is marking wrong spots.
Pricing in Litres is always higher compared to the website. Stupid I have to visit their site to get same book 50% cheaper.

Otherwise i like it. Keep up good job and listen to your customer reviews.

I suggest to buy books directly through this app website, because on the website it is two times cheaper than buy it through Litres 😏.

Even after you will make a purchase from the browser, it will appear on Litres instantly.

I rated it one star for many reasons for one you have to pay for those books two it is like not that many good books like the hate you give stuff like that it is just anthor app that’s makes you think that u can read all these books but you really cannot

Worked well but now when I switched to iOS 13 it doesn’t login with Google account. Just kicks off Litres when chose this option. Obviously a bug, but critical one. I have multiple purchases on my account that I’m still reading and this is terrible that I’m not able to access them

The all is convenient to us, but glitches and freezes ones in a while.

Great app but they need to come up with monthly plans because buying each book is hella expensive. Come on!!! Every other app already has that option

I bought a book through Litres and the price appeared to be 50% more than the price on the website. Beware.

I use 3 reading app and this one is good to read Russian books. There are a lot of freshly published books. However some books I’m interested are not available for downloading for unknown reason.

It's absolutely great app for those who love Russian books in... Well... Russian language. I live in the US and greatly miss reading in Russian. After I found Litres, the problem was solved! Very good selection of books, nice interface, smooth buying process. And they have books for children, too! My kids love when I read them from IPad like "grown ups". I am not sure if you can buy audiobooks thru Litres, but I know you can do it directly from their site, although transactions are not that easy there. Anyway, as I said before, great app for getting books in Russian, both for kids and adults.

I love Litres! Easy to navigate and u can download Russian and English books. Lots of books to read and enjoy, tried different book apps and I chose this one and using it now for more than a year

Good app, easy to use. One issue is their prices in Litres are in dollars, vs on the website it's in rubles. I guess it feeds Litres out of my phone system, but the conversion is out of whack - if I buy a book through a website it's usually at least 50% cheaper if not more. Would be much more convenient to buy it through Litres .

I had been looking like forever for a Kindle-like app to read books in Russian. Really pleased with this app - it is easy to use, easy to purchase books and never crashes

Good selection! Decent prices! No problem selecting and uploading books through iPhone, iPad or computer.
