Prelude Connect Reviews

This is an App that the facility wants to use as the primary communication between patient and care team. However, unless you continuously open PreludeConnect and look for new messages, you will never know when your care team has replied. If you are going to position an App for primary messaging and communications, how about supporting notifications so you will know when to pen PreludeConnect and read the message. Also, no way to transfer appointments to the Calendar App. This would be nice since PreludeConnect has no notifications.

I’ve already updated PreludeConnect and it’s still telling me it needs to be updated and won’t let me open PreludeConnect at all.

The biggest issue with PreludeConnect is that there are no notifications. When dealing with fertility treatments, there is often time sensitive information that needs to be relayed from one party to the other. PreludeConnect needs to have notifications so we can clearly see and know when we have a new message, labs, protocol, etc. Infertility is already a difficult thing to go through, we don't need it to be more difficult because of a poorly designed app.

I have an amazing doctor but I cannot even login to leave messages for the nurses. Unfortunately they want patients to use a app that does not work at all. It’s frustrating and annoying. I call everyday to get in touch with someone and no answer!

I use PreludeConnect as my main source of communication with my fertility clinic. I have an embryo transfer in a few days on Tuesday, 12/5. PreludeConnect has been inaccessible for days. I am not able to see my protocol or connect with my care team. I was just able to successfully log on via Chrome, but this version does not allow me to create a new message to reach out to my team. I have closed out PreludeConnect , restarted my phone, and deleted and reinstalled PreludeConnect . Do you have any other troubleshooting tips please?

I have software development experience and even a technical user like me can’t get it to work. It keeps crashing, so I have to constantly uninstall and reinstall it. Multiple issues logging in and getting messages. I give up and just call the clinic and ask to speak with my coordinator directly.

Every since the update over the summer I do not get any types of notifications anymore and I am constantly missing communication from my doctor’s office. This is causing so much stress and headache but a lot of the times the communication is time sensitive and I am having to set a timer or continuously come into PreludeConnect and check it over and over again all day.

PreludeConnect is pretty awful. When prompted to enter date of birth I had to scroll through over 450 months to get to my birth year and month. I had to do this twice on the first 2 forms, it is beyond frustrating. Why can’t we just type the date of have roll specific to the birth year? I hope the developer reads this review and makes the necessary changes otherwise it’s a nice idea with poor poor execution. ~Frustrated

It doesn’t work at all in any way an no healthcare providers at Inception have even attempted to use PreludeConnect . If they did they would be aware it is completely unusable.

Apple should pull PreludeConnect. It is so terrible.

What a terrible journey. Terrible apps and $200k just to procreate.

Bugs with basic parts of PreludeConnect :
1) login with Face Recognition doesn’t work. It says the un/pw is incorrect.
2) it glitches across main screen and password reset screen about 4 times once you log in.
3) it requires you to change your password each time you log in
4) it will tell you that you timed out of PreludeConnect but killing PreludeConnect doesn’t log you out so you’re stuck in a cycle of this error.
5) password reset doesn’t work.
Can’t wait to see what else comes…..

PreludeConnect is able to link to the partners app but keeps throwing the error, your session has expired, please log in again when attempting to access the partners detail. Once this happens, PreludeConnect crashes and you can’t exit or even log out. Also the top bar to go back to your details

The update has erased everything. My messages with my clinic, my treatment plan calendar. Do you realize people depend on PreludeConnect?

When you get to patient history, it says it will take about 45 min and it will not save your work in between. App advises you to have all your data at hand. Really? And how can I predict, what it will ask me. App developers should improve PreludeConnect by making it save the work in progress. Also, why patient history is at the bottom and only half way visible when it is the 1st most important thing your dr wants you to do? Why it does not have a separate square?

This seems like one of those apps someone pays an offshore team bottom dollar to develop. Incredibly glitchy and pathetic attempt at “technology”

Latest release broke everything. Cannot access any data.

Set up is so clunky. No easy way to tie partner accounts together. No easy way to see if a payment has gone through. Just overall terrible.

PreludeConnect is the worst thing - messages are always disappearing, constant error/system down blackouts, inability to open and view documents. This is making an already tremendously stressful process more stressful. I literally cannot see messages that I am getting email notifications about. I wish my practice went back to their old system which never gave me any problems for 10+ months.

I’m so upset my clinic is using this. PreludeConnect barely opens, than it will randomly stop working. I’ve had to reset my password many times and Even use other emails. Highly advise against PreludeConnect.

The new update version is not useful at all.
I can’t log in, and can’t see important message from my doctor. I have updated it and still does not let me log in.

The recent upgrade of PreludeConnect deleted all my messages and I can no longer view my labs. Seems like regression testing prior to release would be a top priority for an app that is the middleman between users and medical care 🤷

PreludeConnect is always crashing. And sometimes when it does, you can access any older messages or new important messages that you’re trying to access!

PreludeConnect feels like a cruel joke. Can’t open docs, trouble signing in even when login is correct. At my clinic they’re constantly apologizing: “yes, patients are saying PreludeConnect isn’t working, we’ll just email that to you.” Ugh.

You only see a portion of your labs, not even the most important labs. And half the time PreludeConnect doesn’t work and says you have multiple accounts, which they set up!! And then there is no one who ever helps you! It’s the worst company.

Not sure how PreludeConnect has 4.6 stars. I would give it zeros stars if so could. Cannot log into PreludeConnect and there is no customer support. You can email them but I doubt anyone reads them. The people selling PreludeConnect to fertility clinics should be ashamed of themselves to screw the people who are in such a hopeless position already in life.

Crappy app that dissociates your email after you register and open your profile. Every time you log out it resets the whole profile and says your email is not registered. Then you cannot login through PreludeConnect nor website do to this bug. Poorly programmed piece of junk.

Logs me out says unauthorized user every time I try to login. I’ve reset a thousand times my password and their customer support is a joke, email only and two weeks later nothing after several attempts. I’m missing out on important information from doctors using trash. How are we supposed to connect if it doesn’t work.

Just tried to sign-in and send my IVF nurse a message and discovered the whole interface has changed.

Not that the last interface was much better, but everything is really large and feels like it was just dumped on the screen.

It’s hard to tell what’s a button? I tried to message my IVF nurse and cannot for the life of me figure out how… I think it’s actually bugged and now showing me any options to send a message. Also all my message history disappeared which is so disappointing because I had asked many questions and often referenced the answers.

Also notifications and updates are tucked away at the bottom of the screen in this super bizarre view?

Such a dated and unintuitive app. Hate that my IVF clinic is using it.

Ever since I downloaded this a little less than a week ago, it keeps telling me that there is an error on their end. So I haven’t been able to use it once, despite trying SEVERAL TIMES

I really had high hopes for PreludeConnect but unfortunately, it has been a letdown. PreludeConnect is just ok.
The most frustrating aspect is its inability to send notifications reliably. This is crucial for staying updated on important information regarding my fertility journey. Additionally, PreludeConnect has issues with opening certain tabs, making it difficult to access essential features. To top it off, PreludeConnect crashes frequently, disrupting any attempt at seamless communication with my doctor. Overall, I’m deeply disappointed with the functionality of PreludeConnect, as it hinders rather than aids in the fertility process.

PreludeConnect no longer sends me notifications. I have all notifications turned on in my settings but have to manually check PreludeConnect for messages and alerts. Please help resolve this, it’s an essential function!

PreludeConnect is soooo slow and I’ve done all the updates.
I can almost never log in and sometimes it’s time sensitive bc this is for Ivf instructions and customer support gets back to you in 20 days not cool

The capo does not send notification alerts like a normal app. If I have lab results or a message in the portal It does not alert me. I have to remember to check. The lab values don’t give a normal range and you can’t see any notes or after visit summaries from providers. My chart for example is a much better app and very helpful at keeping you updated on your health

For an app that works with fertility clinics, which deal with very time sensitive events, and doesn’t push notifications is nonsensical. However, it’s easy to chat with clinic staff and upload documents.

PreludeConnect is helpful and saves time. I find it easy to use and I’ve gotten fast and reliable support. Thank you for helping make this process seamless.

Safe and secure, I felt confident sharing sensitive information with my clinic.​‌ ​ 

Updated to the 2.0 version. I cannot send my provider messages nothing loads. Every time I try to open my labs it says error encountered. The main purpose I use PreludeConnect is to communicate with my provider and staff and see my labs and those are the two things that no longer work.
