GET is super convenient and easy to set up with my drivers license and the easy to following with the prompts.

It would be nice if there was a way to add my ID to my digital wallet, that way it would be available without having to unlock and go to GET .

The Apple Watch feature is really nice with the QR codes popping up easy for scan with just one button touch.

GET is a bit rough around the edges, but this is a step in the right direction. There is a subscription annual subscription fee, but the price is low enough to be worth it. All I would like is clarification about when I can start leaving my paper DL at home.

I’m glad that Utah finally has an ISO compliant mDL. I’ve also notice the background of the profile bugs out quite a bit. Also, why isn’t there NFC compatibility? If you’re planning on add that later, when are we going to see it?

Are you kidding? am i using this wrong or is GET trying to charge me a new fee for something i already have... this will be replaced soon enough.

Not liking that I need GET , and you have to pay a fee to continue to use it.

Physical has worked great for the past 20+ years for me.

Until this is a easy add to wallet, not worth it at all.

I can’t believe after how long GET has been in development and trial for Utah DLs it works as poorly as it does. I have the put the phone pin my face to try and register and it still doesn’t work matching my face with my id.

Thought I’d mention a sub is required since they don’t tell you about to the very end 🤦🏽

There is a problem with adding phone number. The key pad doesn't come up until you go back. The selfie isn't very friendly.

App requires renewing subscription twice/year. This wasn’t clear before the 3d face scan and other data gathering.

Can’t this app past the picture matching part. Constantly shows error.

Why is it asking me to pay? When can I this app my license in Apple Wallet instead?

Don’t bother. If they had told me at the start that there was an annual fee, I would have skipped all of the registration steps.

GET requires an annual fee to use it, even though it is recommended by the state (and was probably developed using taxpayer dollars).

GET will not let you cancel your subscription. The Opt out function is not operational. Please Apple, make it go away.

It does what it needs to, just waiting for apple wallet to have support for my state now.

I have had GET for 4 months. TSA at three airports do not recognize it as acceptable ID,
Not acceptable at four bars in SLC, two in Park City and two concert venues because none of the business want to buy new scanners and software. A local police and UHP both said it would not be acceptable as ID.
So I’m glad it’s free for the first year. Not the best rollout.

Utah is using this as a pilot program. No bars take it. No (state-run) liquor stores take it. State police don’t take it. Cool idea, not ready for prime time. Can’t comment on the functionality of GET because it’s not usable.

Easy and will be so convenient. Saw others from other states use in airport. Great !

A subscription? Seriously? I’ll just wait for apple’s implementation like they’ve done in other states tyvm. The entire premise of this is absolutely nuts. Also, why in the world would I do this through some random no-name third party company?

I found getting the facial picture match difficult.

It’s 2 dollars a year yall, you spend more on a coffee. If I ever lose my license or I’m in a hurry this is worth that. And I can control my data. 100% worth it

I have tried to use GET.
It just freezes up. I can’t this app it to work at all.

Always work perfectly and more companies are allowing the digital app. Keep up the great work

I have been unable to this app any bar or liquor store to accept the digital ID. Luckily I carry my hardcopy ID. However, it would be much more convenient if I could just carry my phone and use this ID..

After 6 months, it costs $2/year. It is hard to use and not intuitive, only keep asking for subscription, time to delete this useless app. Utah should adopt the Apple Digital ID instead of this useless app. Stop wasting taxpayer money on something that no one will use.

After taking all my info, face photo, and driver license…it signed me up for a $2/year subscription just to use GET !

I have my license as a photo on a password protected note on my phone. Annual cost: FREE. I have used it when pulled over and to open bank accounts. It doesn’t work for flying, but that’s a federal agency, not state.

Just give us Apple Digital ID in the wallet like other states.

It's not worth paying for an app if I can't use it in establishments, most of the openers do not accept GET as a real ID. They are still asking for your physical card.

Completely forgot that I set this up. I am so thankful that I set this up.

It wants me to zoom in on my face too close then tells me to zoom out. Never could this app it. Too many reviews demonstrating its non-usefulness anyway. Not worth the trouble. And I have enough surprise convenience fees as it is. I’ll stick with my physical ID for now.

For those of us in Utah this is a virtually useless app. In two years of having this I have yet to encounter not one single location that can read it. I only keep it in the hopes that one day an overzealous cop pulls me over for some perceived probable cause (I say perceived and overzealous because I follow the law to a fault) so that I can see if DPS, the bureaucrats that pushed this, will honor it. Don’t waste your time and money on this.

Why You don’t permit to have the Driver Privilege Card???
Finally, it is a Document that your institution emite???

I’ve used my Digital ID successfully at the following places:

🔹Bars
🔹State Liquor Stores
🔹Test Driving Cars

I have been unsuccessful using it at:
🔻Brighton Ski Resort
🔻Airports outside SLC

App suggestions
🔸Wallet agnostic. I want the ability to export my verified credential into a wallet of my choice.
🔸More promotion & marketing so I don’t have to show the state website to prove it’s a valid form of ID
🔸Outside Utah acceptance. It’s no help if it’s a closed network only valid in the state of Utah.

Right now, on my iPhone 14 Pro Max, the application won’t even open. It instantly crashes. Imagine getting pulled over, getting out your phone to show the officer your ID, and it WON’T OPEN!

There is no way on earth that an app like this will ever replace a physical ID, because there is too much that can go wrong.

It won’t scan at the airport? Can’t trust it. Isn’t accepted by the bartender? Can’t trust it. Crashes before you can even show your mobile ID? Can’t trust it.

I love the idea here, but until more places this app on board, and these app developers this app their act together, there’s no way I’m adopting this. And I feel really bad for the people who paid their fees. Imagine paying for an untrustworthy mobile ID.

3-4 years after announcing we would this app a useable digital ID in Apple Wallet, here we are with this useless app with an annual fee. No one really accepts it as a form of ID (even those few listed as accepting it in my experience) and this is not nearly as convenient as states with an Apple Wallet version. Not worth the money and just overall disappointing.

Not all business are ready for it, they scan mine and it said they could not read it

As of lately, GET will open and only immediately close. Tried on installing it and re-downloading but no luck. Sounds like it needs an update. Pretty big. Bummer when I needed it.

Used to work great… not it won’t open and load my info half the time… it is always updated and I keep having to reinstall it… very inconvenient in the airport security line.

I had GET up and running for almost two years, but now when I try to open it it immediately crashes. I tried using it in several places like DABS and the airport and was greeted with blank stares. I actually walked up to a Sandy City police officer that was parked in the same lot as me and asked him if he would accept this if he had pulled me over. Again blank stare. I explained the part about how the legislature had authorized it and he was nice enough to take a look at GET and plug in my data into his computer and see my info come up. He reluctantly said he would probably accept this as valid ID. Then he asked me if I was comfortable unlocking my phone and handing it to law enforcement and letting them sit in their car with it while I waited in mine. It made me think. I’ve got nothing to hide, but I don’t unlock my phone and hand it anyone except maybe family and very close friends.

App no longer works. Just opens then closes. Deleted and re-downloaded GET but the same thing happens. Contacted support who said it was because my iPhone didn’t have the latest version of iOS, but that’s inaccurate. Software is up to date, app just fell apart after latest update. App used to rock. Now it’s just a rock. :/

I had been a user for quite some time with no issue (more than a year) but within the last month when I open GET it immediately crashes.

I contacted support and was told to update my device and redownload GET in a canned response. I was already on the current version of iOS and deleted and redownloaded GET with no change in behavior.

Support has yet to respond to me.

If you are going to provide a digital id you need to be more reliable than this.
