So disappointed

Edit: Per the reply, I went back to Walmart and purchased another unit. Same “stuttering” issue. But, for some reason this one connected and stopped. Time will tell if it is reliable.

I bought the Hubble Guardian plus which is compared to the Owlet sock. This was $149+ at Walmart and I should have spent the extra $150 and got the Owlet. The base station will not connect to HubbleClub . I am pretty tech savvy and the ‘voice’ just goes into a stutter. I literally went to Walmart at 9:30pm just to get this because my 3 month old has RSV and I wanted a little ability to monitor him. So not only did I waste my time going out to buy it, now I need to go back to Walmart to return it. I think there is a great concept to this device, but it’s worthless if it won’t work. I don’t see Walmart keeping these products long. Also, information online to troubleshoot this particular device is not there. Even the website didn’t have this device to select for troubleshooting. At least I couldn’t find it. 🤷‍♀️

App and monitor often un-sync

I’ve been using HubbleClub with the monitor for 6 months now and they are very frustrating. When I was only using one camera, the system was much more reliable. Now I’m running two cameras total, one in each room and they are only 15 feet away from each other. Both cameras are on the upper level and the router is directly below on the main level. One of the cameras wouldn’t even connect to the internet so I installed my range extender on the upper level. Finally got both cameras connected but one if not both have daily issues. Using the monitor and app at the same time cause frequent issues staying in sync. When I change the music/night light on the monitor, sometimes it doesn’t register on HubbleClub that they are already on, or vice versa. So I’m required to toggle the setting several times to get the device back in sync. Then sometimes I wake up in the morning and both cameras completely reset themselves so there is no music or light on, without any kind of power surge. Even right now while writing this review HubbleClub says one of my cameras isn’t connected and needs a restart. This is a weekly occurrence where I need to restart one of them so they will re-connect to the server. I like the dual monitor functionality but I would never buy these again.

Would rather use a 20$ baby monitor.

I bought this because it came with a monitor was wide view and it came with an app. The monitor cuts out some times says it’s offline most the time it goes to a green screen or purple screen been like this since I bought it I tried connecting to HubbleClub and no matter what I do HubbleClub will not connect with my baby monitor I tried reaching out for help and all they did was send me trouble shooting solutions I had already tried. No one has fixed this problem and I can’t use this on my phone which is the whole reason I bought it 200$ down the drain.

Update: don’t even bother they never answer for support and they never help you. Can’t since I bought it connect it to any wifi to view from HubbleClub on my phone I’m tired of waiting for a response this camera is junk. The camera cuts in and out when it wants since I bought it doesn’t have good sound quality and to top it off like I said can’t be used with my phone which was the whole reason I got it.

Terrible, unreliable app

If I could give zero stars, I would. This is the absolute worst app that basically works so inconsistently it might as well not even exist. My monitor works fine with the handheld parent unit but the mobile app shows the camera is offline at least 95% of the time, which is incorrect as the parent unit works just fine which also uses WiFi. Everything else in my entire house that uses WiFi works fine and very consistently. HubbleClub on the other hand is a poor excuse of a baby monitoring app. The parent unit will show 5 full WiFi bars and be working flawlessly while HubbleClub says the camera is offline. I would return the entire monitor system but the support for Hubble in general is terrible and they’re refusing to refund the product, so I’m stuck with it. I would say 90% of the appeal of this specific company was the fact they have an app to check in on baby when away. I will never buy another product from this company and will shout it from the roof tops to everyone I know to also avoid it.

Waste of money and time

First of all, the camera I had would not reconnect. It didn’t have an on/off switch either. I emailed the company in December and they assured me that the newer models don’t have the on/off switch. That would’ve been nice to know since the directions don’t mention that at all. Mind you, it takes about a week for anyone to email you back. Even with that knowledge, the camera would still not connect. Eventually January rolls around and they finally agree to send me a different camera. Fast forward to February, I finally received the camera. It worked and then it didn’t. It has connectivity issues all the time. I’ve spent hours trying to figure out the issue. My internet is on and working. I’ve made sure there isn’t any interference. Nothing has worked. I emailed the company, but I doubt I’ll get anything figured out this month. If I could give zero stars, I would. Setting up these monitors should not be more difficult than caring for your baby. I’ll never buy another product from this company again. And I hope nobody else does either. COMPLETE WASTE OF THE LIMITED MONEY AND TIME I HAVE!!!

Unreliable connectivity to app renders it useless

Camera and physical monitor work fine, but HubbleClub is a disaster. If you only need the camera and the physical monitor, this is a fine product. We’ve rarely had issues with it. The battery life on the monitor isn’t the best, but it generally works well and has good video quality. If you want a product where you can connect via your phone to check the baby (you’re out of the house, the monitor is dead or in another room, etc.), then this is not a good product for you. The camera connects to HubbleClub maybe 3/10 times I attempt to use it. It will connect just fine once, but I can go back 2 minutes later and suddenly it’s “offline” and the only say to potentially fix it is to go into the baby’s room and turn the camera off/on. Obviously that’s not an ideal solution if your baby is in there asleep, and it’s also not a feasible fix when it happens multiple times per day. Our house WiFi has no issues connecting to other devices, so I know it’s not a WiFi issue, and the camera is connected just fine to the physical monitor with zero connection issues. Overall, the lack of reliability with HubbleClub decreases the quality of the product to the point where I would not recommend it to others and I will not use it again if we have a second child.

Poor quality wifi

Consistent issues with wifi even when we have 100% connectivity within our household. Randomly will tell me to turn the camera on (when it’s clearly on) and will not work again until I unplug from the wall (versus the actual device on the wall). This is super inconvenient because the outlet is located behind my baby’s crib. In order to not disturb her, I usually have to wait until she wakes up before I can go in and try that solution- occasionally have to wait until the morning. This is super frustrating and after reading reviews, it seems as though this is a very common problem with this product. Additionally, whenever I open HubbleClub it says “error” and I have to wait to tap “retry” before it loads. This is every single time I open HubbleClub on my phone. Lastly, the screen of my device has warped overtime (no dropping or fault of my own) and now there is a wrinkle around the screen. Unfortunately will not be buying another monitor for my next baby and will go with an entirely different product. I really like everything else about the Hubble, but the unreliability to connect and function is too great and too persistent.

Terrible Customer Service

I give two stars because when HubbleClub is working, it’s a good product. I like having the option to use two cameras, and to watch from my phone vs only a monitor. HOWEVER, the issues I’ve had in the 6 months I’ve used this product are starting to outweigh the benefits. What’s worse to me is that I have found no effective way to get in touch with anyone in this company to help problem solve. My app says i cannot send an email to “support” from my phone, yet offers no alternative way to do so. I googled the customer support email and have not received a response in over two weeks, and there is no phone number I can find. The only options I’ve seen for troubleshooting are responses here on negative reviews offering suggestions, which i have tried and am still having issues. I pay for a Premium account and my husbands phone keeps kicking him off. At times the connection is poor/doesn’t work at all, for no reason we can find. As a first time parent it is not worth the anxiety of my monitor not working, and the frustration it is causing at this point. I would NOT recommend this product.

It worked fine for a few weeks

Worked for a few weeks then it decided to go out all of a sudden it won’t connect to the Wi-Fi. What a waste of my money honestly at first I was loving it because I could see my baby, but all I did was click on HubbleClub and go off then when I started doing things actually trying it out, I tried to rotate the camera on HubbleClub take a picture or change the colors It would go off the Wi-Fi when I tried to turn the music on it would go right back off now It’s not working at all. It will not connect to my Wi-Fi. I reset it over 10 times even emailed the technical support and they have not got back to me, so I have not been allowing my baby to sleep in his room because I can’t watch him throughout the night and I also work from home but in a whole different area of the house so now I have to constantly walk upstairs or have him beside me instead of him being able to be in his room where i could see him on the monitors it’s been over three weeks now no technical support and the glow hubble is still not working over $100 down the drain. What a waste!

Ads before you can see your child, Clunky

I’ve reviewed the flaws in what should be a much better camera/ software system for the cost elsewhere. Specifically HubbleClub recently started putting ads for the premium subscription as pop ups before you can see what’s happening in the room. I’d be faster running into the baby’s room to see what’s happening. It’s as if we didn’t pay hundreds of dollars already for the device and INCLUDED basic version of HubbleClub . We’re looking to make a switch for baby #2.
Also, ever since the recent apple updates, it’s clunkier on our phones and involves more backing out of the monitor screen and going back in for the video to refresh. I’m not 100% certain it’s just that, as the included Hubble monitor gets weird at times too. I gave it two stars since it doesn’t as frequently drop the connection randomly anymore (which requires one to go in the room, climb on a stool over the crib, and reset it from the camera in the nursery).
For reference, I’ll note that we have some of the best at home internet you can find. We’ve checked to be sure. It’s Hubble. Not our Wi-Fi.

Okay camera. Awful app

The camera and monitor work okay. HubbleClub however, is awful. It lags all the time, fails to notify me for sounds or motions constantly, suddenly disconnects and takes hours to connect back to camera. It is so frustrating. And not to even mention if you’re using the logging functions for feeds and growth. You have to input things twenty times as they magically disappear. Sometimes you input a feed and it saves as two for no apparent reason, when you delete one, then the whole log goes blank. Everytime I try to pull it up at the pediatrician’s office for questions and to show it NEVER works. Always shows as if nothing is there. It wants you to upgrade for many basic functions too. Given my experience with the basic app, I would not even think to upgrade to the subscription based app. Not the happiest with the Hubble platform in general

App only gets worse with time. Customer service reached out to help and did nothing. It’s supposed to email their team directly when it glitches but that has never happened as it always asks to configure email settings, which has been done at least 8 times this week alone and continues to show the same message. Id you rely on HubbleClub for anything other than the monitor good luck. Our ped asked us to keep a feeding log and at first the glitches and errors didnt seem to be the worst, but it’s been 10 months of constantly fixing up logs and triple checking things.

Unreliable

I bought a 60$ baby monitor and received this one as a gift after… I returned the 60$ one because of all the exports things this one had… 1st if all.. the notifications are like 3 minutes delayed.. the camera moves back to the ceiling every time I exit out of HubbleClub .. (I do not have it on ceiling mode).. but the biggest thing is it times out and takes you off the monitoring part after a certain amount of time unless you keep your screen on the whole time and even then it cuts out for minutes at a time. Lucky my daughter sleeps across the hall from us and her dad is a light sleeper cause there no WAY I’d wake up to her cry in the faint distance! Only reason I gave this 2 stars is cause I like the fact I can access it from work! Oh and to report a problem it tells you to shake your phone. Every time I’ve fallowed and shook my phone it doesn’t work! Then I click on the “check for bug” or something like that, it boots me out of HubbleClub .. Needless to say, I’m very upset mom who is definitely not a fan.

Hubble Monitor & Gaurdian+

At first I only got the camera plus the handheld parent monitor about 8 months ago. When it comes to just those two things, i’d give it a 4 out of 5 stars. My only complaint on this is that the camera feed initially lags when first opening up HubbleClub or handheld monitor and takes a while to fully load but once it does, it works great!

Now my real issue for only giving this review 2 stars is the Gaurdian+. I cannot express enough how much an inconvenience it has been since purchasing it nearly 2 months ago. I have still yet to use it because everytime I have tried to connect it, it says the device already needs a firmware update and that you can update it in the device settings on HubbleClub but how can I do that when it won’t pair to HubbleClub in the first place BECAUSE it needs an update but the only way to update it, is through HubbleClub once it’s connected… make it make sense. On top of that, CUSTOMER SUPPORT HAS BEEN NO HELP. I have tried emailing them countless times with no response over a span of 2 months. Do you know how upset I have to be to write this long of a bad review? For the Gaurdian+ being $150, y'all need to do better. I was so excited to use it as a first time mom & was left with nothing but dissatisfaction and disappointment.

Giving me problems that any camera shouldn't have

I'm not sure if it's HubbleClub or the camera. I set the camera time zone to where I'm at and it is still off. A whole day and hours off. It doesn't catch every real movement although the motion detection sensitivity is on high. Weird because it will catch shadows and sunlight. I also had 2 cameras. One said it was offline. But it was 100% with connection. So I tried to unplug it and plug it back in, wasn't working. I looked on their website for support. It said to delete the camera from the list on HubbleClub and reconnect. So I deleted it and now it won't let me add it back. Tried resetting it and it's not doing what it is supposed to when you reset. Only way to contact for support is email. Easy to set up but not to reconnect, re add the camera. However, I like the wide lens and that you are able to turn it up, down, and side to side. I like the noise option, how you can speak both ways. The night light.

Not great, barely adequate

Mostly disappointed with our Nursery Pal Deluxe and the this app app that controls it. The tablet won’t connect to the camera. We’ve tried every troubleshooting solution we could find and even got more specific instructions directly from Hubble, which was annoying because why wouldn’t the more specific instructions be available online?!?! Doesn’t matter though because it still won’t connect. We can only get the camera to work through the this app app and that’s mostly a disappointing experience because it won’t control the camera’s movement at all and the video only works with HubbleClub open. It would be nice if I could open other apps and still have the camera window open in the corner, like most other video apps are capable of. The video quality is good, especially the night vision. But everything else has been highly disappointing and frustrating to deal with.

Great camera quality, connectivity issues

We have an almost two year old and hoping to add another kiddo to the family soon, so we switched from a different baby monitor to a HubbleConnected monitor for the split screen function. Setting up the camera in our son’s room was super easy as was getting HubbleClub set up. The external monitor has great quality and has been a great function when around the house. We also liked that this monitor had the ability to be seen on our phones as we are both full-time workers, which when it works has a wonderful picture quality. HubbleClub itself has had a lot of issues even when we have above 90% WiFi strength. Most nights while our son is sleeping our phone apps will say that the camera is offline and we are able to monitor our son sleeping. With my other monitor we had a nighttime summary of my sons sleep along with a movement map; this monitor app does not seem to have same functions or as many functions, which is disappointing for the price. The family sharing function also seems to be a bit of crap. We came from a Nanit camera where each member could have their own account and see our son. With HubbleClub it has the user email a family member but then they have to log-in with my login anyways so what’s the point. Little disappointed with how HubbleClub works and we are unsure if we want to move forward with this product.

My review on the Hubble Guardian +

I’ve been using the Hubble guardian + for a little over 2 days now as I caught it on sale at my local Walmart for $50 off, I was super excited to use it & the backlash from that came with it for sure—

To start the pairing process took me hours, it kept giving me a no internet connection error everytime I tried to pair it to my phone. I had to reset the main box about 50 times. I finally got it & it immediately needed an update which was highly annoying as it was 3am & my baby was just diagnosed with COVID at 4 months old & I needed the peace of mind to be able to sleep. I ended up not using it overnight and just having crummy sleep. Then I wake up to the wearable itself needing an update. It failed many times before it finally updated. I’ve been using it for a day on my son to track his vitals and they are so inaccurate & the wearable does not stay on and connected for very long before it sends a message that there needs more data collection which then drops the vital tracking for no reason. I’ve had to take it off in the middle of my sons sleep and put it on the main bank to register it again just to put it back on my son many many times. There’s a lot of downfalls to this, it is convenient when it works correctly for maybe 2 hours.

Overall for $100 it’s nice, but I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend or family member or rely on it nightly to be sufficient.

This monitor is pretty great!

I love this Baby monitor and app! The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because it lags often, the picture is blurry sometimes, and you have to subscribe though the monthly subscriptions aren't expensive. If that could be fixed then it would be perfect! When the picture is focused it is extremely clear and that is extremely important to me so I can see exactly what is going on up close! The camera can rotate in every angle including behind in the exact opposite direction. You can play lullabies, change the glowing color for a night light, change the intensity of the night light, track different things like feedings, it can help sleep train your baby, it has Zoom Infrared Night Vision, a microphone so you can listen and you can talk through the monitor, temperature detection, you can receive notifications and so much more!!

Good camera muddled by crummy display.

The camera is good quality, and when you view it on your phone the picture is great, but when viewing on the included monitor, the resolution is completely lost along with any sort of definition. The monitor quality is so low. Otherwise it’s an ok monitor and app. It’s consistently annoying how HubbleClub and monitor are always pushing for you to buy the premium subscription service, which we never did, and things still work fine if you can ignore their sales attempts. It would be great if you could rotate the camera downward a full 90 degrees; it currently only rotates somewhere around 75 or so, so we can’t always see the full crib space. I think if we were to need another monitor we would look for better options.

Great product, good service

I had two Hubble cameras and they were great for our kids! Excellent night vision & my son loved the light and sound options. My husband prefers a parent monitor next to him at night vs phone notifications because he does not wake to those. Customer service was so patient with me as I tried to find the right products that were compatible with what we were looking for. Nursery Pal Deluxe Twin is enroute and really looking forward to it's use! I work long night shift hours away from home so HubbleClub will be great for me to check in while the parent monitor will be great for my husband at night. Appreciate Mohammed's time and patience in helping me return the extra equipment I previously bought and apply a generous discount to get exactly what our family needs. Loving Hubble so far!
