PJ’s Coffee Reviews

I love using PJsCoffee to order coffee on my lunch break from work! There's a PJ's down the street from my job and ordering ahead on PJsCoffee makes it easy to pay in advance, then pick up my order in the drive-thru in time before my lunch break ends. The coffee's great and I love the seasonal flavors that change often.

However: the latest app update/revamp has made me rethink ordering from PJ's altogether. The new update requires a $5 minimum, which defeats the purpose of me choosing PJ's over Starbucks.

This is my main reason for not leaving a 5 star review.

At this rate, I am spending more for a latte to try and meet the minimum than I am wanting to in the first place. If you read anything in this review: please please PLEASE remove the $5 app minimum for purchases! This would be a great help.

The latest version of PJsCoffee has added several features. Great!

Unfortunately, the font size and type used in PJsCoffee makes it difficult to read. Changing the font size up a few points and maybe changing to Arial Black would make it much easier to place mobile orders

Love PJ’s coffee and I’m sure these apps are not cheap to create and maintain, but I really wish they could scan PJsCoffee instead of me having to place the order ahead of time only.
Other than that, it works fine, but for me that’s kind of the main point of an app for a restaurant or coffee shop.

I could have programmed this thing better with my eyes closed and my hands behind my back. Please hire a professional UI designer to come up with a cohesive and professional looking app. The practical development is all there, and PJsCoffee is functional but its not user friendly. It should not take 13 clicks on “continue” to actually place the order.

I get pjs all the time and now that I have young baby, sometimes waiting in line just isn’t very convenient. Ordering ahead helps me skip the line and save time and I can keep track of my rewards.

App use to be easy. Latest update too complicated. Too many screens. Too many options. Nothing is recalled. Please go back to simplicity.

Great new user interface but the iced coffee option doesn’t allow you to customize milk options anymore. As someone who is lactose intolerant, I always order alternative milk options like oat milk. There’s a special requests section but it states that requests resulting in price adjustments will not be honored. Hoping for an update soon that addresses this.

PJsCoffee asks for your name phone number, after you enter it it makes you open a website for terms and privacy policy. There’s no buttons to accept the terms and private policy in the whole website. Instead it makes you create an account on speedtab (seriously?) therefore you can’t use PJsCoffee.

I’ll put no stars if there was a chance.

Currently I cannot make a mobile order, it keeps saying payment failed! I checked my bank no money issues so obviously it’s PJsCoffee . I hate waiting on line so I loved the option of ordering ahead and just running inside and grabbing my drink and bounce! But now……….😟😟😟

I use PJsCoffee regularly but from a UX/UI perspective it needs work.

- You should be able to use your stars before you go through the payment flow.
- The bottom item when you can select for star redemption is hidden underneath another element and that button is not tappable.
- The seasonal velvet ice drinks do not have the option to add additional espresso shots.
- Payment flow is very long. Could be consolidated.

My rewards points are associated with my phone number. Why would they transfer over to PJsCoffee when you download PJsCoffee and add your phone number???

It would be perfect if I was able to add my gift card to PJsCoffee to pay through it

Simple way to keep track of orders, locations and rewards.

I download in PJsCoffee at the suggestion of PJ’s Coffee house. My intent was to purchase gift cards for family members for Christmas. Unfortunately, PJsCoffee does not seem to work. I am using an iPhone XR, with iOS 15. Hopefully they will update PJsCoffee in the next week or so so that I can purchase gift cards.

I downloaded PJsCoffee and entered my name and phone number. When I start to search for a location; PJsCoffee shuts down. This has happened several times. I uninstalled and reinstalled it with the same results.

Would like to be able to request number of packets of sweetener and a place for special request.

Allowed me to place my order and when I tried to pay it told me my location wasn’t accepting mobile orders. Take off locations that aren’t part of the program then.

Great potential and I still use it daily, but it now takes 13 steps instead of 3 or 4 to order the same drink I order every day. It’s like the developers have never actually used their own app to place an order. There’s also no choice of milk. The addition of a space for special requests is an improvement,though, so I put my choice of milk there.
