I recently attempted to use Nala for an international money transfer to South Africa, a service they claim to offer. However, my experience has been frustrating, to say the least. I initiated the transfer 11 days ago, and it has still not gone through. To make matters worse, I’ve reached out to their customer service multiple times, but I’ve received no response or assistance. For a platform that markets itself as efficient and customer-centric, this experience has been highly disappointing. I would strongly advise anyone looking to make timely and reliable payments to South Africa or other African countries to reconsider using Nala until they improve their service and communication.
Finally, someone responded to my several messages after 2 weeks of initiating the transaction with comments like…’going forward, do not send messages, we will respond when we get a response from our partner’ another- “I am only trying to help you” as if the staff is not been paid for their work.
I am just waiting for my transaction to go through after two weeks so I can delete NALASendMoneyGlobally .
