Can’t say enough good things about this app. Firstly, it can integrate in so many different ways, and with so many devices, it’ll likely do whatever you need it to do. Personally, I needed an app that could connect to my indoor bike, grab all of its stats - speed, distance, cadence, watts, etc - and post them to Apple Health when my workouts ended. I also needed something that had an Apple Watch app so I could see those stats as I ride, and so that my rings would get closed properly. QZ does all of that perfectly and then some.
But what I’ve been even more impressed by is the developer himself. I had tried so many different setups to accomplish what I was looking for, and none of them worked right, so before I had even downloaded the app I emailed him to see if QZ could do what I needed it to do. He responded to me within a few hours letting me know it could. Not only that, but as I’ve used the app we’ve corresponded about the various features and how they work, and within a few days he had made a couple of changes and added new settings based on my feedback. Unreal.
If you’re looking for an app to help enhance your workout tracking - download QZ. Believe me, it’s worth it. 10/10

I’m using the app while riding an Echelon EX-3 and the Peloton app. I had previously been riding a Sunny bike with a cadence sensor and HRM. I love that I can now see all my metrics in the QZ app on my phone (I mount it to my handlebars) and cadence/HR in Peloton app as well so I still get that ride summary too. It took me a few minutes to set up and get everything working but the guide is very helpful and so is the Facebook group run by the developer. I had one issue with my settings and when I posted a question there I had an answer within minutes and was able to finish my setup perfectly. Highly recommend.
UPDATE: Coming back to boost my review, I wish I could give more than 5 stars! The new auto resistance feature is mind blowing. I can’t help but feel a certain level of smugness for having this part of the experience of the Bike+ riders without the huge price tag. This app has leveled up my riding experience beyond my imagination, and the developer keeps adding new features.

As you know, unless your bike supports GymKit (and many don’t), starting a cycling workout on Apple Watch leaves much to be desired. It only shows your heart rate, total time, and calories burned. Even if your bike tracks distance, cadence, power, or more, you’re out of luck. You either need to find a subscription app or manually enter your data.
Enter QZ! Not only does it recognize your bike, but it captures more metrics than the manufacturer’s app. It logs all of this in Apple Health AND in the Workout app!
But that’s not the best part. By buying this app, you get an amazing developer who’s willing to answer all your questions and help you configure the app to your needs. I don’t know any other developer who does this.
My setup:
Yesoul M1
Apple Watch Ultra 2
iPhone 13 Pro
My challenge:
The Yesoul app doesn’t write any of the important metrics to the Workout app or Apple Health. I didn’t have anything beyond time, calories, and heart rate, so it was pretty much no different from the Apple Watch workout app.
I tried Kinomap. It captured the metrics but wouldn’t show the bike’s resistance. And after 14 days, it required a subscription.
QZ was a one-time purchase, and now I have everything my bike is capturing. I can see details and trends. The possibilities with this app are limitless. The settings can be overwhelming, but Roberto patiently answered all of my questions. I couldn’t be happier.
