Horrible App

Downloaded app. Registration was buggy. Finally got in. White empty room. Finally saw tiny settings button with even tinier icons that are meaningless. Pages that open are bigger than my screen so parts of the page are cut off and/or navigation is inaccessible. It’s like a first draft developers app from 2003. I gave up. The page that did seem to work was the pitch for $99 year. I might pay that but laughable based on this zero star onboarding experience. Sorry Jewel, been following you for decades but this is where we part ways. Too bad.

Beware trying to cancel

Tried it out and it wasn’t for me. Not an intuitive interface and buggy. The best part is trying to find where to cancel a subscription and they make it virtually impossible. As of now I cancelled two weeks ago and they have continued to try and charge my credit card five times so far over that time period. Thank goodness I used a visa gift card!!

Very helpful when lonely, depressed or in crisis.

We like the ease with which u can travel around the different areas. So many helpful counselors. Ready to listen and refer or help directly. User interface is simple to learn and use on my 9th gen (2022) iPad.

Pricing Change Necessary, but Changes Experience

To keep Innerworld going, a change to the free version and a price hike on the subscription has gone into effect. You cannot go to mental health meetings in the free version. You can socialize in a safe and mentally healthy atmosphere, (totally helpful!) but classes and meetings are strictly part of the paid version. I still think it is absolutely worth it. It is truly as helpful as professional therapy, at a fraction of the cost. I just wish they would post something right up front about it since there was a lot of media attention in the last year concerning it being free and now there is very little that is free. But It is the way of the world. They aren’t getting the financial backing they need and to stay afloat it had to be done. I hate it, but I blame a crappy mental health system. Until insurance and agencies start helping out, this is the reality we live in. Keep up the great work!!

Put you first

This application is merely a glimpse of what benefits innerworlds can provide you. With a culture and staff that is both knowledgeable and attentive, this is a great place to begin or continue your mental health journey. I encourage any and all to see what this space can offer you, and also what you may offer to the space—your voice matters, it has a home here.

Great mental health app

I’ve been recommending Innerworld/program to my clients for additional support and resources. I’m very impressed with how supportive staff and visitors are, and with the wide range of meetings and information offered any time of day, in the privacy of your own home. Thank you for this great tool!

A good resource

I enjoy the check in meetings. The guardian people are always very friendly and helpful. It's been a good way to discuss some changes i have been dealing with and some new goals I am working towards. Looking forward to see the community grow as long as it stays as friendly as it is now

Supportive wonderful environment

I didn’t know what to expect when I joined this community and I was blown away! You won’t find a more supportive group of guides, peers, and social groups. It’s a great place to go to talk about your life, experience social support, and learn about tools for improving your life and mental health. I would recommend this to anyone.

Great,and safe!

this app is a great app a great place to meet people and talk about what bothers you what's going on in the world and how you can improve yourself or how you feel about things. Everyone there is very nice and they all seem to care you don't have to worry about being afraid to talk to anyone there I highly recommend it.

Awesome

This group has helped me so much. I haven’t found a place where I felt safe enough to talk and I’ve been holding on my grief and trauma for like 20 years and I really really feel comfortable here. It’s way better than a therapist or psychiatrist just very comfortable. They’re very nice people and it’s really great group you should join.

A Whole New Level of Peer Support!

I am recommending Help Club for anyone seeking an online peer support environment in VR, mobile, or desktop environment.

Additionally, if you are in therapy in the real world, Help Club makes a great companion, offering weekly check-ins, peer support meetings, and fun community-building events.

The culture of Help Club creates a safe and vibrant community where you always feel welcome and heard. I highly recommend giving this a try!

Life changer

This world allows me to express my feeling with a judgment free area. I’ve found like minded people and people that have helped me grow and become a more confident person in my personal and professional life. They have a wonderful system of keeping a safe space for all that are present. The guides and members are easy to talk with and listen to what you are saying. The tools for mental health have given me strength and clarity to get through some tough situations. I recommend this to my friends and coworkers frequently. I’m so thankful for the admin team that took the time to build the space for us and will always support us. They aren’t just in the background. They come in and interact with members to get our views and actually take them into consideration and I’ve seen them implement some suggestions. This is a great space for mental health at any level. I’m so grateful that I found them.

I wasn’t sure if I would like it…

It has been a really transformative experience. I didn’t think I would have anything to say, and I feel really comfortable in our peer-group meetings. Some meetings are led with a teaching aspect, some are just checking in and sharing whatever we want to talk about, there are even some meetings that aren’t directly mental health related and are more like games or light-hearted gatherings to just have fun. So no, I don’t “like” it, I LOVE it!

Just what I needed

I really wanted to thank all the guides and members for being supportive. I’ve only been using this for about 4 days (I came across it sort of by accident), but it’s exactly what I needed. While I’m at a healthy place in my life, Innerworld, and the people in it, with the tools, allows me to keep my mental hygiene in check and stay that way. I love that it has proactive sessions and check ins.

Having a safe place to be vulnerable and heard without judgement while processing difficult emotions is greatly needed in this world and for mental health 🥰 Kudos to you all and thank you!

Building a supportive community

I rarely provide review but this community consists of very supportive people who volunteer the time to support other people who are feeling lonely, sad, and other feelings that go through during this pandemic era where we are often cut off from the rest of the world. Innerworld has truly helped me become more aware of my feelings and how to better handle them in a more positive and healthy way. I particularly enjoyed the meditation events and CBT groups that focus on particular topics where we share our personal experiences. I wish many people can continue to access this free service which is supported by NIH. It has been tremendous help for me.

Amazing App

This mental health app is very welcoming. The guides that are their help assist with ways to cope with different feelings, assist in the journaling, helping you be accountable for the goals you want to sit or even just be there to listen to you talk and rant about a bad day, just to get it off your shoulders. I really enjoyed the atmosphere coming to this app because I know I will always feel welcome. I wish I had found out about this platform sooner. this app takes it to a whole new level. It’s a very professional place to go when you need the boost. All we need is some help and it’s okay to ask for it. Please give Innerworld a try and it will be very beneficial for your health. I feel like it has helped me.

Outrageously good

Innerworld was a transformative and in a class by itself. I wish I found it sooner. The community is empathetic, benevolent, available and professional. As for Innerworld itself, it’s very nice on VR, desktop/laptop, and iOS. All of the controls are quite refined and work just as they’re supposed to. The many worlds are welcoming and well-designed. Having this in everyone’s arsenal should be a no-brainer. I’m considering joining the coach staff so I can contribute to helping others and not just as a member(although, everyone knows that just being part of a groupie helpful in itself). The creators and developers have done an amazing job at creating something unique (and much needed), which is unheard of these days.

Amazing App

This is a mental health app that is extremely inviting. The guides are there to help assist and help with ways to cope with different feelings, assist in food journaling, helping you be accountable for the goals you want to set or even just there to listen to you talk and rant about a bad day just to get it off your shoulders. They are lovely and very welcoming. I wish I had found out about this platform sooner. this app is in a class of its own. A professional place to go when need the boost. We all need some help and it’s okay to ask for it. Please give Innerworld a try if you want to be part of a world the is inviting and dedicated to benefiting your mental health. Don’t wait! There are more meetings being added and you can even request ones on certain topics that you need.

Just what I needed in my life

I have always had issues with physically going to outside events. Not that I didn’t want to but sometimes it just not convenient with my schedule. I found VR and Innerworld (this app) a few months ago. Since joining in to the this app community, I not only found some peace, but some good people. The people in this app are so REAL and the most caring people you will ever come across. I can’t begin to explain how the groups/events are. They are great. There at so many events in this app. The events and classes are there for you to enjoy, gain knowledge, and there for improvement in you life. I can’t say enough about the inner world community. The only regret that I have is not discovering it sooner. If there is anyone who wants to better themselves without being judged and want to meet some new wonderful people, then join this app. I promise you wont regret it.

Incredible experience

This is one of the most incredible mental health apps I’ve ever tried. It’s so much more engaging to navigate this world rather than stare at text or be on video. I love the avatars and really feel anonymous so I can share more. Excited to see where this goes!
