Moleskine Notes Status

So disappointed with your product. I have tried to use two different notebooks and it is simply impossible to understand how to do it. So complex and it has been practically impossible to find any support on this issue. This product is a shame.

Pen is fully charged. Notes 2.0 App closes and returns to home screen while attempting to pair with pen. I am using an Apple iPhone 8+with iOS 16.6. Thank you.

Dear Moleskine, Your e-pen is very unreliable. Often it misses transferring data and i lose half a page or more from the electronic record. Thats bad but it's compounded because there seems no way to make up the gap. I can add text to the electronic by keyboard or pen. I've tried overwriting on the page but the results are patchy. Also the export function is slow and often fails. With poor connectivity the process becomes impossible. I'm quite disappointed and hope for improvements. Best wishes, Dominic

After a very long time (2 years) not using the pen, with a new mobile phone and migrated contents and apps of the old phone I wanted to use the pen again. When opening the "M-Notes+" app with the pen I bought that time the app crashes when synchronisation starts. Googled for that problem and found this page. Know I hope I do not mess up the notes regarding the app versions, but as far as I remember, the app I migrated from my old phone to the new one was showing "M-Notes+" version 2.0 of 2018. Then I saw there is another app calles "Notes" in the app store also published by Moleskine. After installing this the synchronisation worked again. When checking the app information of the correctly working app I can see it's also called "M+ Notes" but having version 1.6.5. I need to mention that because of not using and caring about the pen for years I lost the digital recording of the already written notes, so just the backup on paper exists.

I am so disappointed with the notes app for android. I keep buying notebooks and writing up a storm with the end goal of transcribing it to text for my teaching and writing. Well... that once was possible but with this new app, it is impossible. The app crashes repeatedly and the transcription is very poor. I end up having to type it all out again anyway. So... I wish I could get a refund for my very expensive smart notebooks and my pen but I don't expect that. I loved your writing system for the past three or four years and I adore your notebooks. Too bad. I'll have to find another product that actually helps me achieves my goals. At least I can enjoy the paper to pen experience with the notebooks I already purchased. They are beautiful. So long Moleskine. It was nice while it lasted.

I have purchased 2023 planner which is my second attempt at a Moleskine planner and since there is a new pen and app released I wanted to try. In a word, it’s disappointing. Very hit and miss what trans from the app on my phone to my calendar. I have reviewed the few instructions but to no avail. I have also tried different ways to write date entries but just leads to further frustration. The new pen works with notebooks ok but the planner is so totally unreliable and unless there is a trick to it, then in the bin with it and I’m back to Livescribe. Is there a properly produced user manual that doesn’t continue to flood the site with your advertisements showing what I should buy. If I’m looking how to use something then I have already bought one. Please give me a fix. This is the second planner I have bought and failed.

No writing is showing on paper though it is coming up on screen. How do I make the ink show up so I can see what I’m writing?
